I was in the area past midnight looking for a decent bite and the group I was with was excited to chow down on some late night burgers. I don't eat red meat but saw an Impossible burger option on their menu online so agreed to take our group there. Single patty burgers were all under 10 bucks, which is exactly what you want from a no frills burger spot. The place was only half full and totally clean. I was delighted to see a few chicken options, chargrilled or fried, which is much healthier than an Impossible patty, which makes every burp taste like chemicals. The burgers came out quickly and were pretty tasty. Perhaps not the best among its competitors but totally solid, and the fries taste like the ones from McDonald's-- the highest compliment in the fry world. Appreciate that their kitchen stays open until 2am and that the staff was really helpful.

Omg amazing burger and even more amazing beef fries. Onion rings were a little soft for my personal taste but my husband liked them. Highly recommend!

Burgerhead was a nice surprise! The fries were super crispy and really tasty- definitely the highlight of my meal. The burger itself was pretty good too, but next time I'll make sure to ask for it well done, I know people eat it with a slight pink in it but I just can't. I did eat it though. lol! Also has a refrigerator with plenty of refreshment options, and there are seats available if you want to dine in, which is convenient. Overall, solid place for a quick bite! The atmosphere itself looked pretty decent to me. Nice and clean. And the service was great. I will be back tho for my cheeseburger well done and a milkshake. I definitely want to try their milkshake. If you can make a tasty milkshake, you already won my heart.

A nice & small burger joint in the west village! A quick grab and go type of ambiance. Menu is kinda small and quick to the point. Burgers here are charred and not smashed, it gave it a nice authentic backyard summer bbq taste. Fries were really good and were very similar to McDonald fries. Only issue I had with the burger was it was drowned in sauce so I couldn't really taste the patty. Would recommend as a good spot for a quick bite after some drinks.

I ordered a double cheeseburger and onion rings. I ordered a double since I'm used to most places making smash burgers now. Here you could probably do without a double. Here you're getting a classic burger. Well cooked and juicy. Fries didn't look like anything special so I went with onion rings instead. I was happy with my decision.

Its hard to find a char grilled burger in a sea of smash burgers. Char grilled fans are an oppressed minority in the burger world today. And thankfully we have a refuge at Burgerhead. The Double Char Burger is delightful, tasty, balanced and perfectly cooked. And this place is conveniently across the street from the West 4 subway stop in Manhattan. Join our cause.

My friend has been talking about this burger spot and how they're seed oil free for a while so I decided to check it out. The atmosphere is nice. There's a modern/nostalgic burger spot vibe here. Plus they have a decent amount of seating. The menu is seed oil free. Meaning they use healthier oil options. With a good variety of options. I ordered the beef fat fries and double patty charburger. The fries were freshly made and not too much salt on top. You could add ketchup but they're pretty good on its own. You get 2 decent sized patties on the char burger. They were cooked just right. With veggies, cheese, and sauce. This is a well put together burger I just wish it had more flavor to the patty personally. The burger pairs well with the fries too. The fries are amazing. Think McDonald's but cleaner. Plus everything was light on the stomach surprisingly. Service here is good and wait wasn't too long. I came back another time and brought a friend. Same feelings. The burgers don't make you feel all sluggish and tired. I feel well fed and could go for another one lol.

A friend and I grabbed some food at Burgerhead - it was overall a good experience! - Staff was helpful and friendly - Onion rings were among my favorite in the city - Burger was decent, though they have a lot of tough competition in the area - Fried chicken sandwich also decent, patty was roughly the size I assumed it would be - Fries were shoestring shaped, crispy and salty (in a good way) - A few tables in the front and then a larger table in the back if you're eating in store but seems they have a solid takeout operation too While not my favorite burger spot, I still enjoyed my meal here!

Finally checked out burgerhead and got a chance to try to a single burger. The store interior was welcoming and service was attentive and quick. Overall a great burger, but nothing standing out. I'd definitely have burger again if the occasion presented itself.

Fast casual done right. Burgerhead is worth checking out for a quick bite. I wasn't expecting anything revolutionary, but I really enjoyed their chardog. I recommend ordering it with ketchup, mustard, and onions. Every bite was delicious. Hot take, hot dogs are underrated.

I stopped in to Burgerhead for a late snack. I ordered an Envy Burger and some Onion Rings. My Burger was tasty, but the Onion Rings were not. $22.46 for a Burger, Onion Rings, and a soda. Thank U next!

After a looong day walking in the city, these fries delivered us from hanger. They were fantastic. I think they were $4.75 pre-tax/tip per fry serving. Two servings shown in the photo.

I wouldn't compare it to In n Out at all since there's none in NYC lol. There's so many 7th Street burgers that I'd compare it to that instead. I prefer this burger, it's a LOT less oily and had tomatoes and pickles and lettuce. It's a great classic burger! There was a huge group when I was there literally just screaming at each other from two feet away lol so it was loud but I think normally it would be a pretty chill place to eat. Good music! The service is pretty good - and fast! You can see them making your food right there.

Since I had never had the latter before, I have to give it a try. I liked that there was an option for a spinach tortilla, I went with that. It was ready in about 10 minutes, and while it is indeed a take out spot, no one else was sitting inside, so we were able to occupy the four seats that were there. The burrito was humongous. I should have taken a picture of it, but I was so hungry and ready to dive in I just didn't. It was delicious. We all shared chips and a hefty amount of red salsa, that was surprisingly spicy.
