We do not have a Burgerville near our home, so we enjoy the very occasional visit to one. We dined on 7/4/19 at the Kelso restaurant (Main Street) and truly enjoyed the seasonal raspberry milkshakes and the quite good Walla Walla Sweet onion rings., The hamburgers, however, were a disaster as the meat on two different burgers tasted old and flavorless. We had them replaced and the meat was the same - we discarded the burgers and enjoyed the other food. Burgerville is expensive for drive-in food so the quality should be much better than what we experienced. read more

We were passing through Kelso and needed some lunch. Most of us were in the mood for burgers so we did our standard Yelp surf and ended up at Burgerville. Appearance-wise, the place was great - Nice, clean, and looked like a solid throwback diner. Prices were a bit high (especially for a small town), but within reason and the menu looked nice with a great selection. Ordering was quick and easy and the staff were very friend. We got our meal to go and it came out quite quickly. The good: The shakes were excellent - Clearly fresh berries, good quality ingredients. Definitely the highlight of our trip. The onion rings were awesome - Big and thick. But, really, for $5.75 I would have expected more than four, even if they were big. Blue Cheese salad was good - Fresh ingredients, lots of toppings. The bad: Out of our five orders, three were wrong. One double burger was prepared as a single, one "dry" burger had a ton of mayo and we received the wrong salad dressing. Of course, we were miles away before we found this out so we couldn't go back. One mistake I can understand, but three of five?? The burgers were mediocre. I could hardly taste any "burger" flavor, mine was a bit cardboard-ish. Others in the family agreed. The biggest burger "sin": Mayo. Overload of Mayo. All of us had so much of it that it was squirting out the sides as we ate. A little is OK, but it completely overwhelmed the flavor of everything. (Not that there was much flavor otherwise, but still....). When wiping some of it off, we noticed that catsup was only applied to 1/2 of the burger. Clearly, very careless on putting it together. Another oddity - I ordered a Walla-Walla onion burger which comes with Cheddar cheese. It was very peppery. Unpleasantly so. Not sure what ingredient had pepper in it, but it (further) ruined the taste. read more

Tried Burgerville for the first time today and I will definitely go back. We just moved into the area and I'm finding the Pacific Northwest to be a lot more accommodating for gluten intolerant people. Burgerville was especially so. It's awesome that they offer gluten free buns as an option. It was even more awesome when the girl at the counter asked if I was gluten intolerant or celiac! Talk about well trained, caring employees. So I got a burger (the first one I've had since I learned I was gluten intolerant) and it was very good. My wife got the salmon salad which was awesome. A great great salad for a fast food joint. We also got the walla onion rings which were so freaking huge we didn't finish them. The only reason Burgerville doesn't get 5 stars is because we also ordered fries but it wasn't until I got our food home that I discovered they forgot our fries. read more

Friendly, helpful staff at this Burgerville. Stopped in for a quick dinner while traveling up I-5; it was more than a mile off the freeway but easy to find. Our 8 yr old ordered the kid meal with plain cheeseburger. He was quite unhappy with it because it had the special Burgerville sauce, not plain enough! A staff person noticed us and asked how she could help. At first we asked for a knife to scrape off the sauce. After she brought the knife she realized that he wanted a plain cheeseburger and she immediately fetched one for him. Ta dah! Problem fixed. 8 yr old happy. Way to go Burgerville staff! I'm going to guess that Burgerville is a town geographically located in the heart of Kidd Valley, as the burger joints that have those names are remarkably similar to each other. They're both OK places, though I would give the nod to Burgerville, for the depth of menu. read more

this was the 1st hamburger place we tried when we moved here to Longview. I must say it was not good...the burger was the size of a 1/2 dollar, it had nothing on it and very dry....have never been back and no plans of returning....this is a no go for us. read more

Stopped here after leaving Bob's Sporting Goods. Its a quaint little burger place and love the inside. The food was average, staff very pleasant and the service was quick. Its better than the alternative of Burger King or McDonald's. But a little more expensive. I would definitely eat here again. I got the Tillamook burger and my husband got the pepper bacon burger. This is a local chain. I was impressed by the variety of burgers and other items. Chicken, fish, azuki bean, turkey sandwiches, several seafood of entrees. Also interesting salad selections. The fries were freshly fried and very good. Even had fried asparagus! I think though that they use leaner meat in the burgers. I saw that they had a little library inside too! read more

The food is really great but I kid you not, our order is messed up every.single.time. And we don't have complex orders.. Half the time they don't put all of our food in the bag when they send us off, the other half, our burgers don't have anything we asked them to. We work in customer service, we get it, but we're so damn polite every time, we've never said "Well last time you guys did this..or didn't do this..." but every time? Cmon. read more

Seems to be in a kinda shady part of town, but the food was good, and the service was very nice. I'm a big fan of the Tillamook cheeseburgers as well as the shakes. I'm always down for a shake made with real ice cream and berries. Our only complaint today was that Mitchell's burger was more room temp than warm - but it still tasted great. Nice little fast food restaurant. Small busy place with surprisingly good food, they will even cut your burger in half if you ask. They also offer gluten free hamburger buns, I have never seen this anywhere else as an option. If you wish to use the restroom you will have to ask at the counter because it is locked and signs say for customers only. read more

I ordered a burger through a delivery service in Longview and when the burger came, it was terribly dry, didn't have the order right in reference to the toppings, and was like chewing on leather dipped in sand... Completely met our expectations for a slightly up-level fast food burger place. Tasty peppered bacon cheeseburger. I ordered it with 2 patties since I thought a single patty would be a bit light. Food was very good and the staff was very pleasant. We live in MO now and are on our way to Olympia to see my wife's family for the Holidays. She always tells us how good Burgerville is so we had to try it out ASAP. It was as good as she advertised, everyone enjoyed their food. My 10 yr old daughter said "this is the best burger I have ever put in my mouth". I am in shock as to how the lady in the drive thru could be so rude. By rude I mean her tone was so impatient and rude, it out is off so much we almost drove away. If we weren't on the road and in a hurry we absolutely would have. Her name was Sandra on the receipt. And the funny part is she wasn't rude to the other customers who's order she was taking when we pulled up to pay. I am in shock that someone in customer service would use a tone like that with customers. As if she was absolutely sick of us asking to remove Burgerville sauce. We were on the road and in the mood for a good burger. We had good food, fresh iced tea and clean restrooms. Very kid friendly. We liked the apple slices as a side dish choice. I stopped in here on a whim earlier in the year with friends and had a great experience--incredible service and tasty food. I stopped in again this weekend for a quick bite to go and was greeted by several smiling employees. The owner took my order and genuinely wanted to know how my day was going. My colossal burger and waffle fries were ready in no time, but instead of taking it to go, I sat down in the impeccably clean restaurant and enjoyed my meal. The smiles of the employees and their laughter meant that they enjoyed working there and serving up great burgers, and what a great environment to enjoy my yummy food! I will make it a point to stop in at this location each time I pass through Kelso because this place goes out of its way to make sure you have a pleasant experience with excellent food and customer service. read more

This is my first ever visit to a Burgerville. We had a halibut burger, spicy bean burger and a turkey burger. The halibut burger was delicious. Sure, it's fried, but it was flaky and tasted like fish should. The spicy bean burger had kick and was tasty. The turkey burger was dry and probably our last turkey burger at Burgerville. We recommend trying a shake. The seasonal apple shake tasted like apple pie. There were little pieces of apple in the shake. The triple berry shake was a delight. We highly recommend the sweet potato fries. Though overly salted, the sweet potato fries have potential. The regular fries are the basic frozen thin fries. The service was slow. The staff said it was because they ran out of fries. Overall, the food was delicious and filling. The prices are higher than you'd expect from a fast food place, but we're glad to support Burgerville for supporting local farmers and using sustainable resources. read more
