I like burgers. Didn't enjoy this one. Had the Pepper Bacon Cheese Burger. Gigantic piece of lettuce on it. After a few bites I wasn't into it. I started to take it apart to just taste the items. The bacon was definitely cooked hours and hours ago as it wasn't crispy and more on the stale side. The patty itself didn't have any flavor. I tried the Rosemary Fries. They reminded me of the Smashburger Smash Fries, but weren't as good. They were okay and I would order them again, but not at the same level. Had a plain strawberry shake with no whipped cream. It was nice and thick and very flavorful. A Plus. Customer Service Excellent. Perhaps this chain just isn't for me. read more

This location is by far the best around! The staff is always friendly & they get our order correct EVERY TIME. (They always repeat the order back to double check - I love this). We are a family of 4, so we usually have several burgers & fries & drinks. Different burgers that are "add this" or "minus that." Besides all of that, they never forget straws & plenty of napkins. Fast food can be tricky with getting staff that really perform. Most people at "other" fast food chains act like they hate their jobs a lot of times & it shows. Burgerville on St John's & Fourth Plain has a great crew of people working there. There is a closer location to where we live, but we always drive a bit farther to this location knowing our experience will ALWAYS be a great one! read more

I love Burgerville. I really do. This one is in a sketchy neighborhood, and feels a little creepy at night, but it's nostalgic for me because I used to go there in high school. I also have not had a bad experience with an employee there ever. Everyone seems very friendly whether you are going to the drive-through or if you are walking up. The food is consistent and delicious. I am hooked on the Tillamook cheeseburger. Ask anyone else, and they will add the special sauce to it. I also really appreciate the seasonal shakes and vegetables. I am counting down the days until the Walla Walla onion rings are here. I love burgerville, great milkshakes, great food, what's not to love. However, beware, in Washington everything is taxed. Your bill will be bigger if you're used to Oregon prices, however, it's the same great food. I highly recommend the strawberry milkshake, or the mocha perk, both are great. Aside from the great food we all know and love, super great customer service! Actually had a personal interaction with the manager, and had known what I wanted before I was even able to order it. Always been through Burgervilles drive through but never came inside and I have a completely renewed appreciation for the establishment - I would not only say this place is family friendly, but even promote it as a place to take your kids on a day off and come relax. My one critical analysis for this would have to be the floors - and easy fix but they were a bit greasy! Other than that I loved coming here on my way from Portland to Seattle. Stopped here on a long long drive for a quick fast food burger. My expectations were medium. I had been to the burgerville in centralia a few times and it was just ok. However, the burger I had here (which I believe was the special they were advertising) tasted like a home cooked burger, instead of a fast food one. I was very surprised by the quality and size of the entire sandwich but especially the patty. Most fast food patties are pathetic but this one was thick and very flavorful. I'm from Texas so we don't have these there, but if I was to compare them to anything, I'd say this is the regions "Whataburger." The menu is higher priced but that's because you are getting definitely different quality burgers than you would get at McDonald's or Burger King. The meat is gamier tasting, ingredients noticeably different. Fries are okay, the burgers are the thing to get here. All items used to package are made from recycled materials so they're eco-friendly or at least trying. Good food but be ready for the bill too. read more

My Spicy Anasazi Black Bean Burger was missing the Swiss cheese, had pickles (which do not come on one of these) and had barely any lettuce, of which I had ordered extra. (They probably had someone in training) I didn't make a big deal but did politely register my complaint. As I walked back in carrying most of my burger, a very concerned lady manager met me, heard my complaint, offered to remake it, and gave me a small sundae to boot. NO! This place is great one thing I love about Bergerville is all their food is very fresh. As far as fast food place this is definitely some of the best fast food out there especially in the Northwest. They have seasonal fries as well the seasonal shakes. They pride themselves on being a company that uses local foods and farms. This source a lot of the food locally. I would almost compare it to "in and out" But not really because Bergerville is much slower when it comes to taking orders and getting the food out. That would probably be my only complaint in which is why give it four stars instead of five is the length of time that it takes to get your food is pretty long. But at the same time it is also fast food so the word long there is kind of relative as I'm thinking maybe nine minutes instead of 30 seconds so I guess that's the price you pay for freshness but still they still get a mark down next time they should not label themselves as fast food, and maybe segregate themselves as a restaurant instead. read more

I have always loved burgerville and consider them about all other fast food restaurants. I don't mind paying more for better quality...however I have notice that for a while they either aren't caring as much about their quality, or that they are not very particular on who they hire. My sandwiches are slapped together sloppy, or are missing part of the ingredients, or even a couple times I was missing part of my meal. I have begun to be disappointed in them, and hope this is temporary and doesn't become the norm. read more

Burgerville is a great place to support local farmers and businesses (Burgerville is local to the Pacific North West, and also buys from local farmers) so you would think that they wouldn't charge $7 for a burger, and for 2 people to eat it wouldn't cost you $29 ! Burgerville has good food, but it's also fast food paying that much is more like paying at sit down restaurant. So I won't be going to burgerville anytime soon... their shakes though are absolutely fabulous!! I probably eat to much fast food. I tend to say away from the multi-national chains. Burgerville is an example of why. The local chains and solo stores do it better and make me feel that they are a touch healthier. I've found that this branch does a good job. I've been happy with the food. I often time my visits by the seasonal specials. The specials are often what makes Burgerville. I have my favorites, especially the Chocolate hazelnut shakes... What the heck is the attraction to this place???? I'm a transplant to the area and have only eaten at burgerville 2x now, and do not understand how they are popular and still in business. Ok, I've only had the super spendy 4 piece (halibut, supposedly) fish & chips. For over 12 bucks, I expected much, much more. The 4 pieces of fish are pretty small, fairly thin, totally processed fish 'fillets'. I had forgotten my experience the first time with how unimpressive and super expensive this item is, hence this review to serve as my reminder. McDs has better fish fillet, if they sold it in a 4 piece fish and chip application, I'd be all over it. My 3 year old got the kids cheeseburger meal, which was SMOTHERED in some kind of crap sauce that he immediately said 'yuk' to. WTF bugerville, what kids likes orange tartar sauce. disgusting. he didn't eat a bite of the burger. he did, however, drink all of his chocolate milk! :D :D :D disappointing and expensive. I normally go to the burgerville off Hawthorne in Portland, but went to this one since I was in the area. After waiting for 10 or so minutes In drive through (a standard for Burgerville) I ordered a spicy bean burger. After I got home, I noticed that it was not only spicy but was DROWNING in Mayo and the lettuce and tomato were fresh probably 4 days ago at best. Posting a review on a fast food place seems pointless. For here, it's not. I love Burgerville. All seriousness, my husband and I moved here from California. We were spoiled with In N Out, so we knew we had to find our replacement. Back in February, we kept seeing a lot of Burgerville locations here in Vancouver when we were apartment hunting. Once we permanently came back in June, we immediately went there. We weren't disappointed. Everything is on par. The beef is really good, all the veggies are fresh, and we've always had a hot batch of fries. We appreciate the fact that everything is local to the Pacific Northwest. My husband loves the Walla Walla onion rings, I love your pickles, and love the amount of sauce that are on the burgers. One thing we can eat all day from here is their ranch dressing. We think it might be the dill in it. But it's probably the best ranch from a fast food joint. I'm a huge ranch dressing eater, and my judgment of all food places rely on the quality of ranch dressing. Burgerville scores huge points just on that. It's making my mouth water just thinking about it. I love their fruit sundaes. They kind of remind me of the ones from Costco. Berries are local as well. That's one thing we've noticed about Washington and the PNW - berries upon berries. No complaints, though. We also love the service. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. I think $26 for 2 people is a bit laughable for a fast food joint but I guess they gotta pay for that too-shelf Tillamook cheese somehow? My Tillamook cheeseburger was tasty but pretty average. The Oregon strawberry shake was really good though. Fries are okay. The place itself is nice, spacious and clean and though I don't have any kids, I really appreciate that they have a little kid's corner set up with different activities to keep them busy. We only came here because we were driving back to Tacoma from Oregon and my husband insisted on it-he ate here once a million years ago and constantly waxes poetic about it. MY FIRST BURGERVILLE EXPERIENCE WAS HERE! My attending doctor took my colleagues and me out for lunch here, and what a treat it was!! Upon first glance at the menu, my eye locked onto the two most beautiful words "Tillamook Cheeseburger." When the guy at the counter asked if I wanted rosemary garlic fries to go with it, I knew it was destiny (and it was scrumptious!). The best part about this location is the TOUCH SCREEN soda fountain!!! Literally, a bunch of beverage options are at your FINGERTIPS. I eagerly touched the FANTA icon, and at least seven Fanta flavor options fanned across the screen. I ended up choosing peach Fanta =] The soda fountain alone is its own attraction. I have travelled to TWO other Burgervilles, dragging my friends along, hoping for the touch screen soda fountain, but neither of them had it. So, the only reason this location gets 5 stars is for this awe factor. WIthout it, I would give Burgerville 4 stars for their dedication to sustainability and local produce. I had 30 years with Burgerville as an option for grub but now I find it a distant memory only possible on visits and vacations back in the Pacific NW. Let me pay tribute to the 1/2 pound Colossal and Double Beef Cheeseburger with that famous Burgerville Spread that can't be duplicated no matter how good of a copycat recipe you think you have. Tillamook Cheese or Peppered Bacon on a burger? These are unheard of on a drive thru burger North, South, or East of The Dalles. Can you imagine the millions of people that haven't lived this experience? I miss the Wild Alaskan Halibut Fish and Chips and the Walla Walla Sweet Onion Rings. The rest of the world is unaware that a Vidalia can't even be considered "sweet" or an "onion" when compared to a Walla Walla Sweet. Really, we should feel sorry for them, but as the saying goes, ignorance is bliss. These other Burger joints don't offer Real Ice Cream Milkshakes made with locally grown straw clogging chunks of fresh fruits such as Strawberry, Boysenberry, Blackberry, and Huckleberry. Hazelnuts? BV has 'em! Five Guys can offer you a greasy bag and Whataburger is good but over 80% of them are in Texas. I've been to Texas, they aren't that good. White Castle and Crystal's can hardly be considered hamburgers and you have to know a "secret menu" to get something special from In-n-Out. I may have insulted a few with those last comments but any true Pacific Northwesterner will probably agree that Burgerville is more than fast food or a burger joint...it's an Institution! read more

10/3/2020. After 20 years of tolerating their inconsistency and paying top dollar for a 50/50 shot at descent, we've had it with the Burgeville on Highwayy 99 in Vancouver. Fish way overcooked, dry, and closer to black than brown. Regular fries are excessively greasy and cold to the touch and both those and and sweet potato fries have so much salt on them they are inedible. Who knows what the burgers looked like. It all went straight into the trash. I called and spoke to manger, Dan. Dan's ONLY comment, in response to my only swear word (food looked and tasted like dog s**t), was that he didn't appreciate the swearing. There are so many choices and so many working really hard to get any business at all in these times. We've spent our very last penny at Burgerville. read more

I like the nice young people working at the Fourth Plain Burgerville in Vancouver, they are always friendly, and make the food well and fast for it being a place that prefers to make things fresh. I'd rather come to Burgerville and pay more and wait a second longer to get better tasting and healthier fast food. I appreciate the staff being friendly to you no matter who how old you look, they are doing their jobs well even though I can tell they are getting fewer customers than they did in 2021, maybe it's all the high costs of living, but this is a good location and well-staffed and my food: fish and chips were perfect, as was a burger and shake and fries I got last week. The chocolate hazelnut shakes are very good. Just be prepared to get fresh food that doesn't taste microwaved, because this is Burgerville, not a certain fast food Burger place that microwaves its burgers and puts fat capsules in the patty so they taste better. I would rather have a plain patty without fat capsules in it even if I have to pay more money and wait a little longer. Thanks Burgerville Staff, you are doing your jobs right!
