I have been going here for years ...and they used to have the best burger wrapped in lettuce and handmade fries from Kennebuck potatoes ...calorie worthy!!!!!!! So freaking good... I believe they tried to switch to tallow for the fries ...and I could tell the difference...and maybe if they charged more for an entirely grass fed beef burger... from Mountain Meat Market in Hood River and peanut oil for the fries I'd go back...(clear from the other side of the river in Troutdale) You got to charge more for the best though!!! read more

If you want a classic drive-in with bomb food, this is the place to go. They were super busy when we arrived both in the drive through as well as inside (we went to the drive through), but service was fairly quick and the workers were efficient. A few tables inside and a few tables out. There is a bathroom for customers. We ordered the Deluxe burger and the Bacon & Bleu burger. Both were delicious. They were not shy with the garlic at all, and I absolutely loved that. If you're a garlic fan, these are a must. I ordered the teriyaki burger, and honestly, it was the best teriyaki burger I've had. The girl working the cash register needs a attitude adjustment she was super rude to me and a few other males but seem to love and have no problem with the female. This is one of the best burgers in Camas, Wa in my opinion. All fresh produce, bun, and flame broiled hamburger. I enjoyed their homemade sauce as well. At 1p the place was packed, as well as the drive thru line. Such a small place, and right across the street from McDonalds, which tells you something about their quality. Gonna have to try a shake next time, because everyone raves about them. The only thing I didnt like was that the garlic fries were undercooked. The Owner ? was super nice, very friendly, and asked everyone how their meal was. He delivered some meals himself, while explaining how all their food was very fresh and of high quality. Always have great service and food but this time ordered their beef hot dog and they use a florescent green relish that has blue dye. If you have their hotdog I would not recommend the relish. The atmosphere was very welcoming and although space was small they had a lot of seating options (indoors and outdoors). Our order was taken by a super friendly / knowledgeable individual. It was priced well and the quality of food was excellent. I had commented to my husband that its location near a McDonald's was ballsy and he said it has probably been there longer. If given the choice, I would pick this place over McDonald's each and every time! Give it a shot! The establishment is definitely a drive-in or fast food type of place but with the quality and care involved. There is some inside seating, outdoor seating and a drive-through involved. If you get a burger with bacon they ask how you like your bacon cooked - crispy, soft, or in-between. That's the first time I've ever been asked how I want my bacon cooked. The burger was great. The fries are hand cut and seasoned very well. The owner came out to thank us for coming and he mentioned their beef is all pasture raised, veggies hand cut, and sauces are homemade. I got the ranch and it was very tasty. We also got a chocolate oreo and a banana shake. They are hand-scooped and pair perfectly with the burger and fries. We were driving back from the forest when we smelled something delicious wafting in the air. We spotted this little gem off the road and turned in the lot, what a wonderful local restaurant. Homemade chili and local sauces served. I try to keep my money as local as possible so adore finding little spots like this. Speaking of little they have maybe 6 tables inside and a few outside. The drive through is priority of course, but the wait for food was about 15 minutes. My garlic fries could of been a little crispier and the garlic wasn't spread around much, but the chili was amazing and the slider meal for kids was perfect for our active 5 year old. We will stop every time we visit Camas :) looking forward to one of those hand scooped shakes. read more

We also ordered a side of garlic fries and they were okay. They seemed a little bland to my husband and I and not very flavorful. The customer service was amazing. The young female working the register was so friendly and patient with us and answered the few questions I had. We drove up at 6:30 on Sunday evening. The line was jammed! An employee came quickly to our car and asked us if we wanted time with the menu and left one with us as we sat in line. He was great! Answered questions, offered to split our milkshake when he heard we were going to split it. He couldn't have been more helpful. The wait was about 12 minutes. We decided to park and eat at one of the sunny outdoor tables. Our burgers were flavorful. I especially liked the grilled flavor that shone through tasted like a homemade burger. The burgers come in 1/2 and 1/4 lb sizes. We got the 1/4 lb. It was a nice medium sized burger. We also split a large order of fries and an Orange/cream milkshake. Our favorite normally but today the burgers were obviously frozen manufactured patties. Everything tasted great if you ignored the meat Update 11/11 we gave it another shot and it disappointed again. The buns were well done (hurt my teeth to bite on it was so burnt) while the meat was medium rare. The salad was wilted and slimy, the onions were burned.
