One thing that hasn't changed over the years, Burgh'ers makes a great burger (really love their Mexican War Street burger). However, since they've moved locations we haven't had the best service both for eat-in and dine-out. Most recently our pick-up order had cold fries (as we immediately dug in on the drive home) and the bag itself was only about 25% full with no frie over 2" long - which was strange. While a burger and side order of fries will typically fill us up, we always have to order an appetizer here, and I don't recommend the fried chicken. I really do enjoy their roasted garlic dressing, so sharing a salad is usually a good option. They do have good beer, albeit the variety can lack at times (lots of Ales and IPAs which is fine for me, but not always for the misses). We like to support their business, and on a nice day we like being able to sit outside with our pup. read more

Unique burgers, amazing cheese fries, and warm service! Cheese fries || $7 If you love cheese and fries, this is a must get! The fries are crisp. The cheese sauce is thick and savory. They don't skimp on cheese and make sure to thoroughly coat the fries throughout the stack :) Fox Chapel || $12 #theblend patty is made of portobello mushrooms and beef. Comes topped with goat cheese, mixed greens, pickled onions, avocado, and a balsamic reduction sauce. I enjoyed this burger creation! It's light yet still filling. The goat cheese and avocado together are creamy and add a lovely richness to the patty. Pierogies || $3 Ordered a side of pierogies to go with my burger. These were nicely fried and served with caramelized onions & sour cream. The pierogies are only stuffed with mashed potatoes though-- no other fillings. I was hoping for maybe spinach and cheese or other filling options too, but oh well. Still a nice dish! read more

Great burgers! My husband had a build your own burger and I had the 'Forest Hill' burger. Both were with the 'blend' patty which was a combo of beef and mushrooms. Both were delicious and cooked perfectly with fresh buns and toppings . Burgers weren't too thick and overall perfect size . My only criticism was it was a tad too salty, but husband thought it was perfectly seasoned. Fries were crisp and not oily but I don't love shoestring fries in general so I likely would get a different side next time . Blue cheese dressing was delicious and had a ton of blue cheese crumbles. Hubby had the Deutchtown Pils- he said it was 'ok' had a hint of sweetness he didn't expect and I Oak Black water stout which was smooth and typical flavor you would expect from a stout. I actually used to think this was the best place to get a burger. Don't get me wrong - it's still decent but I feel like each time I go, my experience isn't what it used to be. Honestly it wasn't one big thing that made this experience lack luster one. It was a lot of small things that made this overall not worth it. First when we walked in, it took a while for a host/hostess to show up to let us wait on a table. Not a big deal and would have brushed it off if it were the only thing. We were told it'd be a ten minute wait. No big deal, it ended up being closer to five minutes. As we were sitting and waiting, another family came and was almost seated immediately as we were ignored. Once we were seated we put our order in within 5 - 10 minutes since we knew what we wanted before we got there. There was a couple who had been seated maybe 5 minutes before us (we watched them get seated) who got their food, and their check, and had their table cleaned before we got our food. When we got our food there were a number of things that had me disappointed. 1. The fries were stone cold and way salted. We were so hungry so we didn't send anything back. 2. The buns must not have been toasted, and if they were it wasn't toasted very long - as they were soggy from the toppings. 3. My husband's grandmother ordered a mini burger, while we ordered the Normal sized burgers - we noted they looked basically the same. 4. Burgers themselves weren't hot. Maybe lukewarm at best. 5. I think the worst part was we walked away still hungry after spending a little over 50 dollars to treat ourselves out. (3 person party) I'll end on a postive note about what was good. First the food flavor was excellent dispite the short comings, and the beer my husband got was good. They delivered drinks quickly and our server was friendly. I know she was doing the best she could. She checked on our table two or three times before the food came out. Overall I hope things get better, as I really like their burgers, they taste like high quality ingredients were used, which was the only saving grace for this meal. We've been going to Burgh'ers since they were new and in Harmony. The food is still good, though pricier. However, the service has declined considerably. The last several times we've been there it now takes an hour or longer to get your food, regardless of whether they are busy or not. Tonight, it was longer than an hour, the wrong patty was used in one of the burgers, and the waitress only checked in once during the extended wait for our food. Unfortunately, the quality of the food no longer offsets the poor service and we are unlikely to be back, which is a disappointment. read more

Went to Lunch with college son and girlfriend, we all loved the burgers. Tried the perogies for an appetizer, they were yummy , deep fried, never had them that way! Fries were good , really thin cut. Beer was good also. Wasn't very busy but we ate at 2:00. Service was great. The decore was different but a nice touch in a brew pub. read more

One of the first new places that started the dining renaissance in the little, quaint town of Zelienople a few years back. The place is always clean. Service is good and food is tremendous. Get the fresh cut fries with rosemary seasoning! Prices are about right for that upper middle class area. But portions are small and controlled to maintain their profit margin from a quality product. This is one of the few places that you will be disappointed when there's no more food on your plate. So order more next time. read more

I ordered a chicken salad at this place and It was SO salty it was almost inedible. But the worst part was that my SALAD was served in a cardboard hotdog boat. Who thought it was a good idea to serve salads in a cardboard hotdog boat? In addition, why can't you get a sharp knife automatically when you order a salad with huge pieces of lettuce? Service is incredibly slow, the menu has changed in an unfavorable direction and the prices are high. I ate here quite a bit before they moved but it's been all downhill from there. The Mexican war burger and a cold IC Light were my go-to for a long time. They have since changed the burger and only serve their beer, but that's just one example. On the plus side, the bartender was friendly, but it's not enough to stave off my disappointment. read more

Never again. 1.5 hrs to get food and we were not the only ones. You could see the grim looks as jovial, holiday families sat around empty tables that even the servers would not come to. Credit the managers because they worked frantically to get out orders but managers! You should fire your entire waitstaff. It would be no different without them. They didn't check on our table. They didn't provide napkins or silverware. There was no need to refill drinks because they are bottled-no refills. And water? Forget it! Any kind word, ANY acknowledgement that we had not been forgotten would have been helpful! Instead, the bill WHICH WAS ON TIME, was tossed to our table with the comment "there is a 20%tip added for a table of 6." We are an understanding table of 6 that included 2 children, but we will not be robbed so our excitement over the new restaurant is gone. We saw your hard work, managers/owners, but your service was a deal breaker. Next time we are in town come have a bite with us at Fishers and let us know when the waitstaff has been replaced. read more

I bought a local flavor and decided to go today for happy hour and take out. The service was fabulous. Grace was my bartender and greeted me with a welcoming smile. I had a draft, and ordered the fried goat cheese which was delicious. Grace was attentive, and I ordered a different draft and take out. I finished my beer as my take out came to me, and was pleasantly surprised upon getting home that it was delicious and perfect as well. I saw some negative reviews. What a burger! Definitely lives up to the ratings. I tried one of their specials, Swiss crisp. It was fantastic. My wife had a build your own. They know how to throw together great taste combinations. Every thing was well cooked and the food came out fast. The meat was tender and juicy. I had the rosemary fries as a side, they are a great idea. Strong flavor, but I like that. I love supporting farm to table type places like this. It is a bit pricey for burgers, but the deliver on quality. Good beer selection too! read more

Now this is based on one visit but: Overrated & overpriced Now it didn't matter to me, but I asked for my hamburger be well done but they made it medium rare. The 12oz beer looks an awful lot like a 10oz beer. If that matters, better bring a measuring glass. I will say that the mojo sauce was tasty. Other than that, this place doesn't do a good job at standing themselves apart from, lets say Red Robin. Sun was shining today though so that was nice. stopped at Burgers in Zelienople this Sunday afternoon for the first time. Very disappointed. It took us one full hour to receive our meals. We only ordered 2 burgers and fries. The food was fine when it finally arrived if not a little light ( very small burgers for the price and limited fries). But no apology from anyone about the length of time it took to get our food. The tables around us were experiencing the same situation and numerous people were complaining about the wait time. The place was not crowded either. I always like visiting here. I used to drive from the South Hills to get there when they were in their old location. I went there earlier this week for lunch with my mom and 2 toddlers. We sat outside (outdoor dining is a big plus for me right now). The patio is on a busy road, there's a wall to block the view, but it's pretty noisy. That didn't bother us - my nephew loved watching the trucks drive by. I love the Forest Hills burger. The side salad is always pretty good as are the fries - you can't go wrong with either side. In general, I feel like it's more of a 'lunch' sized burger. I always leave satisfied but never stuffed. Note - the kids meal is expensive. It was $8 for chicken fingers. I split it between 2 toddlers so that made it not super terrible, but be forewarned. read more

Stopped by the new location. Nice place. There is a brick wall that is about 6 feet high with a short chain link fence on top to separate the bar and restaurant. The burgers are soooo good! We chose to build our own and left with smiling faces. The fries are very good, thinner fires that are crisp and salty. Service was friendly and just right to refill our drinks. read more
