We got three different estimates with Burgio being more or less in the middle. Although there were some communication issues with emails and call returns. Paul was the only estimator that walked the property with us to explain what would be needed to be done. We have a multi-level house with many exterior corners, so we were expecting higher bids. The job took a bit more than two weeks. All through the process, crews generally cleaned up everyday and pointed out items they needed feedback on and were willing to go the extra mile to complete the job to our satisfaction. We used Burggio Stucco and were very happy! We did acrylic stucco in Ivory and didn't regret it. This job was done in December and so far everything is still looking great. We got three bids for stucco and they were the ones who had the best price and we got good vibes from Paul Burgio. He had a team on our house for a couple of days. Our house is a 1940's fixer upper so we had to put mesh on the back wall to get the stucco to stick which drove the cost up a bit but was worth it. It was also pricier to go with acrylic but I'm glad we did. It rained right after it was applied. The stucco bubbled but then went back to flat. We had one issue with a spot missed in the front but they came out and fixed it promptly. They are only missing one star from me for the mess made and left. I get stucco is a messy medium to work with but nothing was cleaned up at the end. read more

I used Burgio stucco for the front of my house and some patches. Overall I would say they did a good job, the resurfacing is well done, and the patch work is great. The team was kind and respectful. They cleaned up after themselves. However, I did run into an issue I am still a little frustrated about. When Paul came over to bid the job we discussed putting stucco molding around the front door. When Paul followed up over text, I confirmed yes, I wanted the stucco molding. Day 1 of the job the foreman showed up and he had concerns about the front door wood and recommended stucco molding. I confirmed with him that was the plan, he discussed it will Paul on the phone who also confirmed this was the plan. Throughout the job the door was masked off for a lot of the work so I didn't see it and should have asked. When they cleaned up and left I was disappointed to see there was no molding and the stucco butts right up to the wood door trim. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal but my door frame has a lot of termite damage and needs to be replaced. However, now it is holding the stucco in place and if I remove it I will likely damage the new stucco. It would have looked really nice with stucco molding. I did contact the company about this 3 weeks ago and have not gotten a response. I will have to trouble shoot my door, I don't know if I have any options. read more

Burgio stucco re-stuccoed my 2 story 1932 spanish home with a smooth, Santa Barbara finish and the finished product is absolutely gorgeous! His foreman (Dave) is an artist who was able to shave / re-shape some cantilever arches and bullnose window frames which over the years had lost their shape and now they look phenomenal. We get a lot of double takes from people walking by the home. It transformed the look of our home entirely.
