They came and "did their service" which clearly states many things they're doing but explicitly - check capacitor - check drain pump They come and leave and say all is good in the same day. About a week goes by we get this absolutely foul inhumane smell in the house. After hours of searching we find our drain pump to be not working and overflowing causing the smell some how. Next to our existing drain pump is a brand new in the box drain pump and a brand new electric meter. We call this company to ask why this was left here and why we weren't informed there was an issue. We're harshly told that there was no issue and that they didn't leave that pump there and that's not their meter and that since we have a backup pump to swap the pump ourselves as it's our problem The brand new pump wasn't ours it was left there by the tech they sent out to do the "work". We're now left with some ruined carpet and water damage mitigation rental equipment on our dime due to their mess up. Now let's fast forward another week where our AC stops working. We of course call another company to come since this company is incompetent and of course the issue is the run capacitor that they got paid to inspect completely full to the top with a mouse family. Along with the capacitor issue they said they're checking the wiring and half the wiring in the capacitor cubicle is deteriorated and the insulation is at the end of its life. That was presented to me as the only option -- no alternatives, no phasing, nothing. And it did not include the roughly $6,000 I'd need to close the walls back up and reinstall fixtures, or the ~$400 roofer I'd have to hire and coordinate myself. Their own estimate puts the hole repair on the customer in writing. All in: nearly $37,000. Meanwhile my first-floor tenant was told she couldn't use her bathroom or her kitchen. When I hesitated at the number, I was told that at least if I sold the house I'd "have retail value." That's the line that made me stop and get a second opinion. Thompson Plumbing came out, found the actual leak -- old hubbed cast iron serving the kitchen -- and repiped it. $2,995. My final invoice was $3,420, and that included an unrelated frost-free silcock I added on. My toilet was fine. My kitchen sink was fine. My tenant's kitchen and bathroom were fine. Not one wall was demoed. Same house. Same leak. Ten percent of the price. I'm not going to speculate about why the two assessments were so far apart. I'll just say this: if 128 Plumbing tells you your house needs a $30,000 repipe, get a second quote before you sign anything. I nearly didn't, and it would have cost me thirty-three thousand dollars I did not need to spend.

He gave me a quote of what it would cost to install a new heating system. I called a few friends that are contractors and they agreed it was a very reasonable price. Dave came out the following day and installed it with his technician. Very professional and efficient, he even took a few hundred dollars off the price that he initially quoted. He checked in the following day to make sure everything was running fine. Great guy that knows how to run a business!

They came and did a service on the boiler, which of course was running fine at that time, but then proceeded to go off again 2 days later. They did come back, but at that time it was running fine again (at least they didn't charge us for that visit). So the week before this record cold it really starts cutting out, so I called Lochinvar and their service branch gave me a few local names. By chance I called Russo first and they said they could be here the day after. Woke up to house @ 52 degrees that morning. Anthony showed up and assured me he would get it fixed, and proceeded to go through with me all the possible issues before replacing the fan unit that was most likely culprit. Couldn't have asked for a more professional and knowledgeable technician. Our only regret was that we hadn't found them earlier. What an immense relief to not have to worry about losing heat on the coldest day of the year!
