The bars host live music and events, and I believe you may be able to rent them as venues- including the pool for pool parties. Pool passes are also available for those who want to swim or go to the pool without staying at the motel. Both of the bars have similar menus for cocktails, and the bartenders can also make you anything you want. They also have a few mocktails and NA options as well as sodas/tea/etc for the kids. Megan is one of the bartenders there, and she is wonderful. I had a blueberry cocktail that was flavorful, sweet, and strong. The cocktail prices (~$12) are reasonable for quality drinks and a few dollars cheaper than downtown. The bars, pool, and motel are all retro and make you feel like you're back in the 1970s. I haven't stayed in the motel and cannot rate that, but I have been inside a room, and it had a retro feel and is very clean. It is a motel so the doors face the parking lot, but everything feels very safe and the motel room prices are reasonable too.

They have a full bar if you'd like a standard cocktail or any other creation I'm sure they could make it. Our server was great and very attentive. The kitchen stopped serving food at 10pm which I wish we had been told when we came in because I tried to order fries at 10:04 and was told I couldn't. Which I understand I just wish I had known. The chips on the trio platter were beyond stale and since servers didn't care to serve the top deck tables were left unbussed and dirty. Not sure if this experience was a case of severe understaffing or just negligence on the management. I'd recommend going to literally any other rooftop bar for a more elevated experience where the staff actually wants to serve the guests.
