None of the outlets nor USB ports worked, nor did the fan controls overhead. The slight draft through the vent and the broken seal around the windows sufficed. Our bus carried only five passengers, we spaced ourselves apart, and fortunately nobody nuked a big one. Most of the window gaskets squeaked, annoyingly, and one showed a visible gap. I did think, a window could fall out, and thus would not reach Vancouver on schedule. They couldn't even properly adjust the large LED clock, still set on Standard Time and a few minutes late. Litter left and scattered from the previous trip tells me either nobody cleaned the bus in Seattle, where we originated, or they were given so little time or otherwise cleaned it poorly. I wouldn't have known about MTRWestern had Flixbus not contracted them for the codeshare to Vancouver. Nor would i have otherwise chosen them. They ran the worst, dirtiest, and least maintained bus i've ever ridden.

UNSAFE UNQUALIFIED DRIVERS!…read more A VERY elderly bus driver who appeared disoriented was driving down the center of a narrow two-lane neighborhood street and almost hit my car. I had to slam on my brakes and reverse into an intersection. The bus appeared lost; there was no reason for them to be on this very small street. The driver honked at me and seemed confused and angry. I called to report the driver and the woman on the phone seemed annoyed I hadn't taken down all of the bus information. She said it was "so much easier for [her]" if I had. Maybe they don't track their vehicles? Highly unprofessional, and makes me wonder if they simply don't know what routes their drivers take. They seemed unconcerned by the incident and irritated that I had called. I would NOT feel safe with this company.

When we refused to pay him cash, he acted as if he was going to drive away with our 4 suitcases and 3 pieces of carry-on luggage still in the back of his vehicle, refusing to open the trunk lid until paid. Given $25 cash, he more-or-less dumped our luggage from the back of the taxi, then told us he wanted a tip as well (no!) -- and when I asked him for a receipt, he said he'd get one. He sat down in the driver's seat, started the taxi, backed into our luggage -- nearly running us over -- and left. Unfortunately, my cellphone was in my carry-on and I couldn't get to it to photograph him or his cab ID number before he began backing up. Little driver, huge ego, terrifying driving. Totally irresponsible. Outright thievery.

The complaint from him was how long he waited for the line to put him in front. Not My Problem. You chose this as a profession, and clearly you don't care for people. We flew on miles and upgraded our seats to first class with cash. As a whole the flight was good and because we didn't have checked luggage, it was a breeze for us. Below is where the star rating was up and down. Customer Service via Phone or Chat: 2.5 Stars - needs major improvement. However, contacting customer service via phone can be frustrating due to long wait times or returning a call back. Also, I tried to communicate via their chat portal and if you don't answer within a timely manner (2 minutes), the AI Or person will disconnect with you. This happened on two occasions when I was trying to change flight date. I finally gave up. Flight - ATL -SEA 3.25 Stars The flight crew were pleasant and professional. However, AK has forgo the water at the seat in First class. We had to wait until most of the passengers were seated before we receive a cup of water. Our flight attendant was friendly, had a wonderful smile and professional but there were times, she waited a lot longer to pickup the finished drinks or meals. She seemed preoccupied with other duties. We weren't the only one that she forgot to bring drinks or pickup the dishes. Food: 3 Stars Breakfast was presented nicely and looked good. But the breakfast meal I had was ok. Though the meal was hot and it looked good, the ham was too salty and the potatoes had a little bit more Rosemary that I am use too. Coffee was so-so, so I requested my go-to drink of Cranberry juice. The other breakfast dish we had was the fruit and cheese tray. It tasted better than my egg, ham, potatoes dish. Both dishes were accompanied by fresh fruit and yogurt. SEA - ANC Food - 3.25 stars AK airlines famous cheese burger. The burger was good but nothing to write home about. Or am I? Served w chips, humid and veggies and chocolate cake. The humus was flavorful and hint of spicy to it. Cake was moist and had a deep chocolate flavor. To kick it up a notch, spread the humus to the burger instead of mayo or mustard. It made the burger more delicious! AK Airlines doesn't have IFE, but you could watch or text with their free WiFi. Also, there is $8 option. If you have a T-Mobile account then it is free. We flew on a 737-900 series. The first class seats were large and comfortable. After arrival to Seattle airport, we stopped by to talk w customer service agent. Cynthia (4 Stars) assisted us to see if we could change an our flight to ANC for an earlier flight. We had a 8 1/2 hour layover and we noticed there was an earlier flight. We were willing to seat in Premier or Coach instead of First Class. She contacted customer service phone line to get assistance. She thought because of our First Class seats, we would be able to chance the class seat but the person told her due we would have to exchange our first class for another set of first class seats on a different flight. The person couldn't downgrade us to a different class seat selection. Weird! She was surprised herself. We thanked for her assistance. So, I struck out on changing my flights (phone, chat, and physical person). So this where the overall rating is lower than expected. Addendum from SEA - ANC Our first class flight attendant was wonderful. Positive, lots of energy, professional and was very pleasant to talk to. Greeted us when we walked in, had our pre-departure drink within 10 minutes of be seated and had our preorder meals within the hour of the flight. She was delightful. Though the 737-9Max wasn't as clean as it should be. I brush off some crumbs from my seat and there were a couple of coffee stirrers on the floor near our seats. The first class seats are modern but not as cushy as the older seats in the 737-900 series plane. So, would I use them again? Probably, but strictly use mile or pay cash. I think using miles and cash made our flights more difficult to change.

I scheduled a pickup with Starz since they had a promotion at my condo. Through a convenient online form, I was able to set up a reservation, and promptly got a text from them confirming my pickup date and time. I even got a reminder text the day before my pickup. On the day of my pickup, they arrived right on time. Just getting in the Chrysler 300, I was immediately impressed. Available to me was hand sanitizer, candy, gum, a newspaper, and an ipad. There was no need to use the newspaper or ipad, though, as the driver provided great conversation on the way. It was a pleasure to talk to him about my upcoming trip, and he got me to the airport quickly to boot! The most significant part about the service is still yet to be told: After paying him with my credit card, we exchanged handshakes as he handed my luggage to me......... A little while after he dropped me off, I was on my way through to the security line, where I began putting all the contents of my pockets in my bag. It was during this process where I realized what an idiot I was - I forgot my cell phone in his car. In a frenzy, I used my tablet to find Starz' phone number, and called them on the pay phone (who knew these even existed anymore!!!) Calling Starz, I spoke to someone who calmly told me that they would try and get to the airport in about 20 minutes, and told me to meet them at my airline's door in the departures section. I offered to pay again for this drop off, since I assumed the driver was far away from the airport already. It's a small price to pay to be able to keep my phone with me during my trip. Sure enough, the driver arrived about 20 minutes later. I walked up to his car, and he handed my phone to me. I asked him to pull up ahead so he could park and I could pay him again. His response: "No sir, that's ok. Just enjoy your trip." I stood there in shock, as I had just bugged him to drive all the way back to the airport just to drop off my phone. He reassured me that I need not pay him again, and it was then I realized that there is still hope in humanity. To the selfless driver that provided me stellar service, I thank you. Also, a thank you to Starz for employing such great people and for running an efficient operation. I guarantee that I will be using Starz Towncar service for all my future shuttle needs. P.S. Yelp, you have listed 11 different 5 star reviews as 'Not Recommended' I hope people take the time to read these unrecommended reviews, as they all attest to the great, effective service that Starz Towncar provides.

From planning a trip and selecting flights to navigating the airport and reaching the final destination, the overall travel experience involves many important details. For business travelers, families, and individuals traveling for leisure, having access to flexible options and helpful services can make a significant difference. Travel Options Designed for Different Needs Every journey is different, and travelers may have different priorities when arranging their flights. Some passengers focus on convenient schedules, while others may look for cabin comfort, connecting flights, baggage options, or services that fit their individual plans. A well-organized travel experience can help passengers manage these details with greater confidence before departure. Whether the journey involves an important business trip, a family vacation, or a long-awaited visit to another destination, careful planning can make the overall experience smoother. Reviewing travel details in advance and understanding available options can also help passengers prepare for changes or unexpected situations. Comfort Throughout the Journey The experience of flying is not limited to reaching a destination. The time spent at the airport and onboard can also play an important role in how passengers remember their trip. Comfortable seating options, onboard services, entertainment, refreshments, and other available amenities can contribute to a more pleasant journey. For longer flights, travelers may particularly value opportunities to relax, work, enjoy entertainment, or simply take a break from their usual routine. Different cabin experiences and service options allow passengers to choose arrangements that best match their travel preferences and requirements. Support When Travel Plans Change Travel plans do not always remain exactly as scheduled. Weather conditions, personal circumstances, changing schedules, and other unexpected events can sometimes require travelers to review or modify their arrangements. Checking the latest information directly through official sources can help ensure that passengers receive accurate guidance for their specific reservation. Airport check-in, security preparation, boarding, connections, baggage collection, and arrival at the final destination are all part of the journey. Efficient planning and clear communication can help reduce unnecessary stress during these different stages. Travelers may also benefit from reviewing baggage allowances, check-in requirements, travel documents, and flight updates before leaving for the airport. Taking a few minutes to prepare these details in advance can make the journey easier to manage. Making Every Journey More Memorable Air travel connects people with business opportunities, family members, new destinations, and important experiences. For some passengers, a flight is simply transportation, while for others it represents the beginning of a major event, vacation, or personal milestone. A successful journey often comes from combining careful preparation with reliable travel information and services that support the passenger from departure through arrival. By planning ahead, staying informed, and using official resources when assistance is needed, travelers can focus more on the purpose of their trip and enjoy the experience along the way.
