Special thanks to the nice people at Burke's Dog Grooming. I totally confused where I made an appointment for our new rescue dog to get her nails trimmed. I made an appt at another place because Burke's VM said they aren't accepting new patients. But because I am too busy and a bit scattered this week, I turned up there instead of where I had the appt. by mistake. I am an idiot, and completely embarrassed, but the nails are trimmed, and they had a good laugh... at me and my failing memory. read more

Brian is great! He took great care of my dog when she needed to be closely monitored/not left alone following an accident when I had to go back to work. First of all, he answered his phone right away...On a SUNDAY! He is very responsive and always available. I was able to bring the dog over a few minutes later to meet Brian and his two friendly dogs. By the time we left 90 minutes later, I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with Brian. He is professional and experienced. Over the course of the next week, my dog went to doggie day care each day and was a happy girl. Brian sent adorable pictures throughout the day of the dogs playing together. It was such a relief to know she was happy and being taken care of. I would not hesitate to use Brian's services again! read more

I brought my Pomeranian Lala to Burke's today for the first time. I had sent them a picture to inquire if they could do the teddy bear cut in her. I was pleased when they said they could. When I arrived I was greeted by a cute schnauzer. I spoke with the groomer and left Lala to play until it was her turn. I was called an hour later and told Lala was finished. When I arrived she was okay with two dogs and very happy. The cut was just what I asked for. We will be back in six weeks. The first photo is what we sent to the groomer. They were fantastic!! Marshmallow looks the best she ever has and she is 16 years old so she's had a lot of haircuts. Everything is perfectly cut all the way down to her perfectly symmetrical fluffy ears and she seems a lot less anxious than she normally would be after a haircut. Staff were very attentive and caring and we can't get over how amazing and fluffy and fabulous she looks. She even has a lot of growths (cysts) and fatty tumors and the staff didn't nick or cut her anywhere even with those growths present all over her body. Overall, would totally recommend!! Took our puppy their for his first grooming visit. I was struck right away just how clean and professional the front waiting area was. The owner, April came out to meet my pup and talk about what we wanted. Right away, I knew this was a good fit. She was so nice and it was obvious that she loves dogs. Great service, very reliable and extremely friendly. We recently took a week's vacation, and since our dog is somewhat anxious we were reluctant to kennel her. We had Brian and his associates come by three times a day for letouts, walks, and feeding. We are very satisfied with the service that was provided; not only did we receive several reassuring texts during our vacation, but they even did some additional favors for us without being asked. Our young, timid, nervous, blind Boston Terrier-Pug had a WONDERFUL experience at Burke's Dog Grooming! She was only there to get her nails done. Her nails grow quickly and we have not found a place like this yet. Not only were we greeted so nicely, I was able to pop my head over the divider wall and see what was happening. There was someone carefully grinding her nails down on the grooming table; while a second groomer came over just to give her affection and keep her calm. She came out wagging her tail so much... her entire back half was wagging! She was kissing anybody and everyone! She was so happy, she didn't want to leave. Upon inspection, her nails looked GREAT and they were able to get them nice and short! read more

I'm new to the area and have tried the whole petsmart grooming which did not work for my 1 year old pup who hates crates/kennels. I decided to give Burke's a try and I do not regret one bit! My pup looked so good. Elijah (I believe) was amazing and took care of my pup. I will definitely be coming back to him. A plus of Burke's is that they don't crate the dogs they let them play with each other which I think is an amazing idea and main reason why I decided to try it. read more

I wish i had more to day as they came recommended but I said "no cut just bath and nails" and they SHAVED his face and chest super short that 2.5 months later it's still in a funky growing out phase. I picked him up and was just astonished, and the guy tired to justify that he couldn't see. Well I know my dog and he could see fine and did not need to be totally shaved on his face. read more

Amazing ! My Dog has seen her fair share of botched groomers. Not to mentioned the long time we wait to pick her up and the amount of ticks she comes back with. We loved the cut and she smelled great! She was happy for the rest of day ! Normally the bandanas are tied around their neck but she came home with a fall fun one on her leash! Brian was so accommodating for us and our dog and cat when we went on vacation for 7 days. They were happy to take care of an epileptic dog who needed meds twice a day. We got pictures everyday of her on her walks! I felt so comfortable being away knowing that they were watching out for our pets like their own. We now use them for occasional midday walks when work hours go long - they are always willing to help out and adjust schedules even at the last minute. I am super happy with them! read more

Burke's Dog Care is awesome! I've used them for daily walks and for grooming and love what they do. I work at home so I know that he comes when he's scheduled which really helps keep my dog on schedule and is much appreciated. April also was kind enough to let me stay with her while she groomed Bailey as we had a prior bad experience. She was wonderful! Kind and caring and Bailey looked great when she was done.
