Best bar in Loveland! The humans that tend the bar are genuine and just down right fun to be around.

Be careful here! We were way way overcharged then had multiple charges show up on our account. The bartender is very sloppy.

Burk's might be a bit small, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in a great staff! It's always a comfortable scene and great prices.

Low-key, bartenders who are also your friend, and they serve my favorite whiskey-- Tullamore Dew.

The first thing is that the place was about 2/3 full and they seem pretty well staffed in the front of the house. There were 2-3 bartenders behind the bar at all times. After we ordered (2 cups of lobster bisque and bread), our server apologized and told us there was a large party in their private room and the chef was having a hard time keeping up. I can't imagine they normally only have one person preparing all of the food on a normal Saturday evening! It took no less than 45 minutes from when we ordered to get our food. Some olives or something would have been nice. My mom also had to wait 15 mins for her 2nd glass of wine. I'll tell you, we weren't going to order anything else after that! There was some really nice classical guitar music by a live musician. I tipped him on our way out. After we left, we noticed a $5 entertainment charge! Is this a norm in Colorado? I would think we would be informed upon entering if there's a cover fee or an additional charge. I would have been happy to pay it, but we should have been informed.

Definitely a gem in downtown Loveland!…read more The menus are thoughtfully crafted with delicious foodie approved options, the staff is always professional and attentive, and the vibe is just right--comfortable, yet it makes you want to sit up, sip something good, and soak it all in. Their cacio e pepe martini is my absolute favorite. In Joy!

We did not get his name, but definitely enjoyed his company. We started with the Beer Battered Cheese Curds. We would rank them up there among the top in the State, and my wife is from Wisconsin, so we have had a Curd or two. Then I had the Fish and Chips, and she had the French Dip for dinner. Both dishes were delicious. I forgot to take pics until we were almost finished. We'll be back, and highly recommend this joint.

She consistently misses the mark on basic customer service. She rarely acknowledges guests, seems far more focused on making drinks than paying attention to the people sitting in front of her, and creates an overall unwelcoming atmosphere. On my most recent visit, I sat waiting for nearly 15 minutes without being acknowledged. It wasn't until I asked for my check because I was ready to leave that she suddenly asked if I was planning to eat. That level of inattentiveness is frustrating and completely avoidable. It's especially disappointing because the location is fantastic, the vibe is great, the food is consistently excellent, and every other bartender and staff member I've interacted with, including the manager, has been amazing. There are some truly great bartenders there who provide attentive, friendly service and make the experience enjoyable. But if I walk in and see her behind the bar, I will not stay. She has completely turned me off from being there when she is working. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because the rest of the team and the overall experience deserve better than this one recurring issue. I am giving this review one star simply because of the continued experience with her.

I recently relocated from Dallas and decided to take a CD and card to the booking manager at the…read morevenue (though I hesitate to call it talent). Upon entering, We encountered a pleasant young woman at the counter and paid the $5 cover, which was reasonable. Having spent many years in Nashville and still returning to record my new music several times a year, I was taken aback by the $7 price tag on beer--especially when I can get domestics for just $2.50 at Robert's Western World on Broadway in Nashville. After locating the booking manager, I handed him my CD and card. He assured me he would listen to it on his way home in his truck and i even made sure he had cd player and he replied yes i do. Although he mentioned he was booked for a few weeks, he promised to follow up with me. The next day, I reached out via email, and he responded by saying, "I'll send you some booking options tomorrow afternoon." That was a week ago, and I still haven't heard back. As someone who has toured with artists like Tim McGraw and Alan Jackson, I understand what constitutes good, professional music. Unfortunately, the performances I witnessed on Friday night fell far short of that standard. On the positive side, most of the patrons were kind. The bartender, sporting a cowboy hat and a mustache, seemed to lack a sense of humor; it appeared that if he attempted to smile, his face might just crack. In contrast, the waitresses were friendly and attentive. If you're a professional musician seeking gigs, I strongly advise you to steer clear of this venue. The only explanation I can conceive for the lack of response is that the booking manager noticed my somewhat 'left-leaning' social media presence and decided to blacklist me for it. If that's the case, he clearly doesn't belong in this industry, as he wouldn't last two minutes in a more reputable establishment rather than a place like right wing Northern Colorado
