Others had burgers, and sautéed Brussel sprouts. One of has had carne asada fries--it was an enormous portion. Drink refills were plentiful and the server was constantly checking in on us, but in a very attentive and non-intrusive way. We liked him a lot. The list of draft beers is notable, and my partner and a flight of four. The prices were reasonable, especially for the quality of food and the level of service we experienced. Mountain oysters -- huge letdown. They came out so overcooked they were basically crunchier than potato chips, with the batter crumbling off. On the space: we ended up sitting in three different spots to eat. We went outside by the street first -- super loud, and people were smoking, so we headed back in. The open spot inside was right under the AC and about forty degrees, so we moved to the back area. The back was fine -- covered -- but pretty dirty, with mop buckets and clutter sitting around. The one drink I had was a good value since we were there at happy hour -- some kind of fruity whiskey drink. It was fine, but nothing I'd seek out again. I hate to give such a friendly place a bad review. It'd be a really great spot if you're a college student who wants some cheap bites and a drink -- but honestly it's just bar food, and the ceiling is probably a 4 on a really good day. Whereas there is nothing special about the salad I quite enjoyed the fish as it was crispy on the outside but not too crispy to the point where it was overcooked. I can't imagine they normally only have one person preparing all of the food on a normal Saturday evening! It took no less than 45 minutes from when we ordered to get our food. Some olives or something would have been nice. My mom also had to wait 15 mins for her 2nd glass of wine. I'll tell you, we weren't going to order anything else after that!
