This little bar used to only take cash, which meant it was once in a blue moon that I'd show up for a drink. Unfortunately for my wallet, they've since switched over to accepting credit cards as well, and I am now there way too much... Starting off, the service is absolutely wonderful - Nadia, Alexandria and Bryan are the faces that grace the bar when I show up (and we all miss Kate as well!) and they're full of suggestions for drinks, fun conversation and a seemingly endless supply of Underbergs. Bonus points: they're open Mondays and Tuesdays which can be a little difficult to find in Fort Collins. We industry folk are so grateful! The beer selection is full of offerings that are hard to come by - always a treat to see a keg of something I don't recognize on tap, and if beers aren't your thing, they also offer at least one cider, hot mulled port, and tipsy Italian sodas with a plethora of flavor options you can mix in. I have yet to try their grilled cheese sandwiches, but the cheddar crusted apple pie and pierogi (I don't think they have those wonderful dumplings anymore, which is too bad) are delicious! On the colder (and not windy) nights, they regularly light the fire inside which makes for a cozy atmosphere, and live music is available all weekend nights. They're dog friendly and the patio is expansive and wonderful for convening with friends when it's warm enough out.

First time to The Forge last night, as they were having a special selection of barrel-aged brews that my friends and hubby especially wanted to try. Awesome location tucked in to the back of Fireside Alley. We sat outside and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere with music from New West Fest drifting in. For beer lovers, this place had a terrific selection of some amazing beers. Sticky Monkey was a favorite of our group. But we sampled many and thoroughly enjoyed our hours spent here. You can get smaller tasters or full sized beers. The food seemed limited and didn't inspire me to order anything, but it's ok to bring stuff in and we had pizza delivered. Perfect! The bar service was slow, but it was a festival Saturday night, so that's not surprising. Staff was friendly and the bartender on my first order tried to help walk me through some of my choices. Definitely a place I'd return to!

This is a cozy place with a great beer selection (and plenty of spirits) to have a drink. We love stopping in on a cold night and sitting at the bar by the fireplace. They do have a small food menu. We've only had a few small plates when there and they have been fine. We go there for the coziness and the drinks though. We have always had good service from fun and efficient bartenders even when it is busy.

    Sweet bar!

The Forge is one of my favorite spots in Fort Collins. Good vibes, good staff, great location. Will be back soon.

Nice place. Expensive prices. Good selection of beers. There are two bar areas. They have an outdoor seating area.

Great atmosphere but the bartender wasn't knowledgeable enough about the drinks and made my celiac friend very sick

Typically a good beer selection. High ABV selections, which my wife and I prefer. Cozy place when it's slow. Not as much fun when it's busy.

One has more stool/table type seating and the other is more like a living room (a cozy and stylish one) with a smaller bar.

We will definitely have to go back to try more. Everything we had was amazing!!! If you get a combo you get $2 off an adult beverage. Nice touch. I got the cheesesteak and the rhine combo wirh classic poutine. My husband got meatloaf (a special) and the smothered chicken combo with classic poutine. My friend got bahn mi with chicken and buffalo chicken combo and tater eclairs. Her husband got southern chicken and bahn mi chicken combo with cheese curds. We also got the tater eclairs on the side with the brown sugar bacon aioli. Wow. I got the adult lemonade, my friend got the Ricky and her husband got the bourbon drink. The back patio area was nice. You order at the counter and they give you a number then bring it out to you when it's ready. We will absolutely be back.

They're rated really high -- actually one of the highest-rated restaurants in Fort Collins -- and from a food perspective I don't really understand why. Sliders with sweet potato fries -- fine, nothing extraordinary. Potato éclairs -- . It was really just mashed potatoes with some topping on it. I honestly didn't even finish it. Mountain oysters -- huge letdown. They came out so overcooked they were basically crunchier than potato chips, with the batter crumbling off. I've never had them before, so I didn't get a good representation of how they're supposed to be -- these were just super-cooked batter. On the space: we ended up sitting in three different spots to eat. We went outside by the street first -- super loud, and people were smoking, so we headed back in. The open spot inside was right under the AC and about forty degrees, so we moved to the back area. The back was fine -- covered -- but pretty dirty, with mop buckets and clutter sitting around. The one drink I had was a good value since we were there at happy hour -- some kind of fruity whiskey drink. It was fine, but nothing I'd seek out again. I hate to give such a friendly place a bad review. It'd be a really great spot if you're a college student who wants some cheap bites and a drink -- but honestly it's just bar food, and the ceiling is probably a 4 on a really good day. I wouldn't get excited to head down there, and parking is a bit of a hassle too. Would recommend only if you're after very cheap eats in that area -- check them out for happy hour. But I would not return.

It was quiet with just a few people. First off this is a family friendly barcade! We don't have anything like that in Las Vegas! Minors are allowed inside until 9pm! The husband and I had drinks at the bar while our toddler explored the area. I wouldn't recommend letting your toddler run around while you have a drink at the bar hahaha BUT there were only a few people there but on the other side of the room. Plus we knew the bartender;-) I recommend anyone with kids to come hang out here *before 9pm! They have old school pinball machines and arcade games for $.25-.75! They also have pool tables, skee ball and a toy crane! What an absolute treat! Gonna definitely visit again before we head back to Vegas!

He noted the newish air hockey table and large selection of pinball options. To my great surprise, my favorite pinball machine of all time is here. It's from the 90s and isn't seen much nowadays. Then, I noted the beer list. More quality/local brews and less swill than in similar arcades in the Denver area. Nicely done. Air hockey delivered with strong jets and a long play time. Kicker: It was only 50 cents. There's no card to buy to put money on first for "convenience." I got a replay on that pinball game on the first try. High score. I appreciate that quarters are the way here. No tokens to be left over and wasted or require a trip back to use. I appreciate that Street Figher II costs but a quarter. The only negative I have is that, like at Denver arcades, the buttons on this game are beaten down and don't respond quickly, at times not at all. Overall, this was an upgrade for us versus our usual spots down South and it'll be on my mind next time I'm in Ft. Fun.
