Hmmm we went here a second time on our trip and had a very different experience than the first time. Maybe they're working out the kinks, but I wanted to give some feedback. The first thing is that the place was about 2/3 full and they seem pretty well staffed in the front of the house. There were 2-3 bartenders behind the bar at all times. After we ordered (2 cups of lobster bisque and bread), our server apologized and told us there was a large party in their private room and the chef was having a hard time keeping up. I can't imagine they normally only have one person preparing all of the food on a normal Saturday evening! It took no less than 45 minutes from when we ordered to get our food. Some olives or something would have been nice. My mom also had to wait 15 mins for her 2nd glass of wine. I'll tell you, we weren't going to order anything else after that! There was some really nice classical guitar music by a live musician. I tipped him on our way out. After we left, we noticed a $5 entertainment charge! Is this a norm in Colorado? I would think we would be informed upon entering if there's a cover fee or an additional charge. I would have been happy to pay it, but we should have been informed. read more

The food was great. They primarily serve appetizers and plates to share. We tried several and they were are delicious. Drinks are fancy and delicious. I strongly recommend the two gin-based drinks, a Negroni and another I cant recall. Service was perfect! Present when needed without constantly checking in. My only knock is that we placed a reservation, assuming this meant a table. My wife and I were actually seated in chairs that, while very comfortable had only the tiniest table, with the chairs facing outward from the wall. This made looking at my date difficult for both of us. It felt more like a waiting area. Overall a great experience but next time I would call to reserve an actual table, rather than using the online reservation tool, which doesn't allow a choice. read more

We stopped by this place the day after it opened, around 1:30pm on a Tuesday. We were immediately greeted by Benny who answered any questions we may have, then led us to a cozy high top next to the window. The decor is beautiful in here! Very classy with soft chairs and couches, drapes hanging down the windows and a piano waiting in the corner. We started with some beverages - Bacon Washed Old Fashion for me, smoked. My dad got The Last Breath, and my mom got a glass of chardonnay. Benny walked us through each of our drinks to help ensure that we'd be happy with the flavor profiles and interesting ingredient additions. The drinks only took a few minutes and we ordered the Mediterranean Hummus to split since we had just eaten. The drinks were incredibly complex and every sip kept us coming back for more. The hummus was creamy and rich while being light at the same time, with so many different flavors that each bite was an adventure in itself. The pita was soft and pillowy, and perfectly seasoned as well. The owner Celestina took time out of her day to come and talk to us and tell us about her concept and a little of her history, and answered our questions about reservations for the future. I was sad when my drink was gone, and even more bummed out that we'd eaten right beforehand. We'll be regulars here for sure. It is pricey, but the ambience and the service, as well as the quality of the food and beverages is worth the price for a special afternoon/evening out. read more

That's not something you randomly shoot, you've developed that pallet through years of pain and suffering. Now I've seen many boys shoot their shot against a lion like this, and fail. I see opportunity, potential, and a fierce uncompromising lover. Fuck it! I try.       Have you seen the movie "The Ghost and the Darkness"Two lions in a relationship are far better than one‼      This metric has worked for me countless times, and has rang true every single time. The relationships didn't last but I don't regret them. It's not restricted to scotch too. The only problem is that it is chronically understaffed, I don't think we've had one visit where service was prompt. ok so I really wanted to like this place, but it just flopped. first, it's not a speakeasy. fancy interior but no facade, the name is just right on the place, no password... it's just a lounge. which is fine but why call it a speakeasy? 2. it smelled like overcooked Brussels sprouts in a dirty diaper. No explanation as to the smell but it did not enhance the experience 3. only stars I can give are for good drinks and cool decor. The bartender made good drinks but I accidentally spilled a little on the table and my leg when he brought them over. He went to get me something to clean up and came back with a damp rag. I took it, cleaned up the table and my leg not realizing it was a dirty, stinky dish rag that smelled awful. And he gave it to me to use on my bare skin, gross! In the decade of living in and being a member of the Loveland community this is bar none the most apathetic and lackluster service I have had. For reference and context the whole lounge had ~ 8 patrons. Somewhere between the 20 minutes my partner waited to get a glass of wine to the 35 mins for a crème brûlée one can only assume arrogance or gross negligence. For such a beautifully designed place in prime Loveland the service missed the mark entirely. It's entirely possible to be an upscale business without the arrogance and apathy towards the customers who would come in off the street. read more

Googled "wine bar" and found this gem! I wanted a quiet, not chaotic place to have a snack and a couple good cocktails. Nailed it because the drinks, food, and even the music choice were all amazing! (And the decor is so classy and thoughtful!) I started with the bacon washed old fashion, and it was hands down in the top 3 best old fashions I have ever had. For food I ordered the baked mushrooms - knowing I'm super picky about mushrooms- and they did not disappoint. The texture wasn't "too mushroomy", the cream and bacon was just enough to balance every bite. They don't have full menu, which I liked because it's less intimidating and easier to decide. Topped off the trip with an espresso martini. Jeremy (the bartender) had enough forethought to ask me how I liked my martini instead of just slapping it together the way he wanted. Final score 10/10. Actually pretty stoked to stop by here on my way home from work on a regular basis. read more

From the first moment we walked in, we were treated poorly. Conner took us to a small table and he went from lukewarm to horrible. The food was pretty good. The cocktails were fine. The service was the worst we have had in...not sure when we've been treated so poorly before, in all honesty. He didn't bother to ask if it was our first visit (it was) or if we were there to celebrate any occasion (we were celebrating our anniversary). Two stars because the food and drinks were good. Conner lost the other stars for you. Yuck. We won't be back or recommend. We went around the corner to Sky Bear and it was an outstanding experience in every way. There are many other wonderful places for fun cocktails, including Sky Bear. We will continue to give other places our business. read more

We went a while ago during opening weekend and were not impressed. The chairs were uncomfortable and drinks weren't completely worth it for the price point. The main thing that made me not want to come back: The hostess was weirdly segregating the guests based on what they were wearing, grouping everyone who was wearing T-shirts and or jeans together in a back alcove away from the 'fancier dressed' guests (which was only strange to me considering the state of unkempt the hostess was in). It made for an unwelcome atmosphere. I get trying to curate an experience that is different and a fancier vibe, but maybe focus on your staff first? Alienating locals during the first week of being 'open' is a strange strategy. read more

This place appears to be nice, but they seem to be completely lost on how to take drink orders or accommodate guests. We sat for around 15 minutes with no service despite several people walking by and smiling at us. Around the 15 minute make I flagged down the host and asked if we could order. He replied "yes" but then didn't take our order and went back about his business. Around the 20 minute mark we decided to get up and leave. We did notice that they managed to bus the water from our table before we got completely out the door, so at least they were ready to give the next guests bad service.​ read more

So I've been here twice. The service was incredibly slow both times and it felt like one person was trying to do every task imaginable. I would have ordered more drinks but we decided to just close out because the server never came back around. Food is good but small. Drinks are hit or miss (either great or just meh in a fancy glass). I recently tried to stop in for my birthday to have a drink or two but we ultimately just left. We waited 15 minutes to even be acknowledged and then were told we'd have to wait a few minutes for a seat at the bar (no issues, we don't mind as I wanted the bar specifically). As we are waiting I notice that nearly every table has empty drinks and is just sitting there. A man behind us cuts in front of us and takes a spot at the bar at which point the hostess came back over and said oh sorry someone just sat at the bar (seriously?
