I first came into Burland back in 2016 when my husband and I were getting engaged for my first engagement ring, I really wanted to shop in a pop and mom shop for our rings, as it felt more special and personal than a big retailer. We then came back in 2017 for our wedding bands, and in 2022 for a second wedding band for me and resizing. Throughout all these years, I have put my rings through the wringer, and they've held up wonderfully! I called their store at 5:38 pm today. The friendliest gentleman answered my question about a potential repair to my watch and invited me to stop by, even though they close at 6 pm. I have been here twice so far. Once to get a watch battery which they did so quickly and at a reasonable price. Then I had bought a watchband somewhere else that I couldn't get on my watch and they were so nice and did it for me. I asked how much do I owe you and he wouldn't take anything for it. Burland has been my Fur-Mom's go-to jeweler for the past 15 years or so - Marc, Amanda, Trish and the whole team are just amazing and work miracles! She most recently brought them 2 rings to fix; one needed extensive repairs and the other had a cracked stone that needed replacing. They did an amazing job on both. They matched the stone so well on the one that was cracked, you would never know it was replaced. Not even I, with my discerning eye, could tell... Mom was also in the market for a pair of ruby studs, and Marc was able to source a beautiful pair for her, which appraised for much more than she paid for them. Which left a nice, tidy sum left over for a stop at the doggie treat store on the way home. As Warren Buffet says, "Price is what you pay, but value is what you get." A dear friend of mine bought me a tennis bracelet many years ago. After several years of wear and tear it broke. Went here on while on a birthday trip on 09/21/15 because Brian P. proposed and the ring was a size too small. We were leaving town the next morning so we didn't have days to wait to get it resized. Checked out the reviews on Yelp and saw they did same day resizing. They measured my finger and said it'd be 4 days before we could pick it up due to their jeweler having a backlog of customers because he had just come back from vacation. We told Mark, the owners' son, that we were from Vegas and were leaving the next day. He said he'd see what he could do. Less than an hour later my vintage engagement ring was perfectly sized, and the triple banding was seamless. You'd never know that it had been cut apart with more white gold added in. And it only set us back $45! The customer service was fantastic. Mark was very friendly and chatted with us about Vegas the whole time. We ended up getting Brian a vintage channel set diamond band to wear on his right hand (not as a wedding band) just because the price was right. (And we're really into sparkly stuff, just like raccoons.) I am so happy with the service and care we received. Will definitely come back for more purchases when we're in the area. read more

This place is the real deal! We decided to come here based on yelp reviews several months ago. At the time, we were just shopping and looking around - Marc, was so friendly, not pushy, and practically taught us about the 4 c's. It was like a class - he was showing us different diamonds and price ranges so that we can make an educated decision on engagement rings and wedding bands. We left with not buying anything and didn't feel awkward at all. Several months later, I was proposed to. DO NOT HAVE RINGS SIZED HERE!! Cost $200 for 4 rings, took 3 months, lost 1 diamond, cracked 1 garnet and in the end all 4 rings are still too big. These are rings that I wear daily, overnight my knuckle grew and I needed each ring to be slightly sized up from 5.25 or 5.50 to 5.50 or 5.75, I can't remember what the original size was. The 1st time I picked up the rings they were HUGE and they kept them to fix. Then stones, cracked/missing and the finish on my David Yurman rings were stripped away that they had to keep those to put them back on. In the end, I have 4 rings that I CANNOT wear and spent $200.00 for it. read more

This place doesn't have five stars for no reason. I came in today just inquiring about some possible fixes, and also had a watch battery to change. Mark was extremely helpful, personable, and kind. I talked about how much I had paid for a service at a different jeweler after an overall bad encounter with them, and he informed me that they charge 1/4 of the price there. I couldn't believe it and he was in shock too! I decided to think about the jewelry fixes and when he came back after changing my battery, he told me it's on the house! He said he felt bad that the other jeweler had overcharged me so this was free today. Mark honestly made my day. I had a great experience even before he did that, but it's this kind of customer service (and first interaction!) that makes you stick to one company for the long run. Wow great service! I needed a ring repaired and re sized and also had a old Rolex that had been sitting for quite some time. It was a sentimental piece (I guess most jewelry is) that I wanted repairs on for some time but was quoted previously by another jeweler a lot of money. The jeweler here told me it was under $100 and didn't even need everything I was previously told. I have to applaud any place that offers savings and doesn't take advantage of a guest or situation. Not every jeweler would be this honest and would prefer to make a quick buck. Not Burland, I felt as if I was one of there long standing best customers and this was my first time ever there. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. Their prices are amazing and they had a beautiful selection of pieces that I would love to have. Definitely found a local jeweler that I can trust and feel great about buying from for myself and my loved ones for years to come. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. I used to have good service here, but waiting for 2 months for a ring reset and then being told they "ordered the wrong setting"'and then waiting yet again and returning to be told, "this reset made him nervous," but yet no communication from anyone over the entire time period is unacceptable. When my grandmother passed away, I inherited a lot of her old jewelry. I kept the pieces I wanted and wondered if I could sell the rest. Burland did a great job on my custom ring so I came back. The appraiser, Mark, sat with me for a good long time going through each piece. He helped me determine which pieces were worth getting officially appraised and which were not. I settled on getting appraisals for 4 specific rings. Another employee kindly sized the remainder of the rings which will help with resale. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The appraisals were done in about a week - great description and photos. I know very little about jewelry so I always worry that I'm going to get fleeced.
