Came here today, June 23, 2025. Server couldn't have been better. Food was way overpriced and majorly underwhelming. Had my two kids with me. Kids menu, $6.99 not including a drink. Add chocolate chips to pancake's? $3.29! Found that out later. I got a skillet. $42 plus 20% tip later. Seriously, I wish I had gone to ihop. Ridiculous. Never again read more

Great small-town diner that serves the best patty melt in around. Been going to this place for years and never disappointed. They have a great Rueben as well. Breakfast foods as well, can't go wrong. If your looking for fast food chain that treats you like a number, look elsewhere. Family atmosphere without the corporate overtones. read more

Absolutely love this place! Great, country feel, friendly atmosphere. We loved the food! My son loved his pancakes, my husband loved his monte cristo, my grandma and mom loved their catfish, my dad loved the salad and I loved the ham and cheese! We were WAY overcharged on the Bill, the whole thing was kind of suspicious. Make sure you're looking at your bill when you leave. The Waitress was kind and pleasant. The food however, was subpar. I left there with my soul still hungry. read more

Food is great, and all the waitresses are great. The only reason I give his 4 instead of 5 is because most days I see the waitresses arguing in front of everyone about whose turn it is to take a table. It's the only off putting thing. read more

This is now my fifth visit so I thought I should take the time for a review. I usually stop in for lunch and tried breakfast today. I had the farmers breakfast and loved it. You get a skillet filled with hash browns, onions, peppers and sausage (or bacon/ham), salsa and topped with two eggs. Cooked perfectly with great flavor. I get a plate like this at Denny's or IHOP but this just tastes fresher. The service is perfect and my iced tea has not run dry yet. Five stars since they deserve it, and the prices have not gone up. read more

Michelle's service was outstanding. The food was great. We had a Texas Breakfast, pancakes, French toast and Silver dollar pancakes. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. I absolutely love this place. A hidden gem, It's tucked away in a convenient corner by a red-light, and the service and food have never been less than exceptional. The cook has never ever gotten anything wrong on my order, over cooked, or undercooked, and the atmosphere is friendly and cozy, and clean. Our first visit here we took too long looking at the menu so I gave the waitress the menu and told her to just bring us whatever she's selected a bacon cheeseburger and a gyro wrap with fries and salad and it was fantastic all of it was good. Very pleased with our first visit. read more

We've been going here for a few years now, mostly for breakfast, and the food is consistently good. The restaurant itself is spotless, the bathrooms are also very clean. Friendly staff, and the owner is on site almost always. The food comes out hot, like it should, and from visit to visit, the quality and taste is the same. We love the home feel of this place, and the staff always asks after our children and grandchildren if they're not with us. One or two of the servers are outstanding, so we always try to sit with one of them, but always leave full and happy regardless. read more

This place is absolutely disgusting and we got up and walked out, I've never seen a hamburger steak come out pale gray like it was boiled and not cooked on the grill, flies all over the place and the waitress was more concerned with her cellphone than providing customer service to her 2 customers in the restaurant! read more

It is unfortunate that they close at like 3 in the afternoon, but they have some really amazing food here!!!! I recommend the burgers for sure!!! This place was right by a hotel I was staying at so it was convenient. Came in for breakfast and although the inside of the place looked like my Grandparents house from 20 years ago, the food was pretty good and for a pretty cheap price! read more

Excellent food!! Best restaurant in the town of Joshua. Locally owned. Food made from scratch. If you are coming through town and looking for a place to eat, it is your best bet. Closes at 3 pm on Monday thru Thursday, open till 9 pm on Friday and Saturday. read more
