Different-looking structure which all Caltrain Stations should aspire to and not be boring like most of them are.

    I love this station !

For a CalTrain station it's OK, not really much else to say. Love using CalTrain and glad they service the peninsula.

I've ridden BART plenty of times before. Usually it's crowded, sometimes a little grimy, but it gets the job done. This time, though, I was honestly surprised. The SF International Airport station felt clean, organized, and surprisingly calm. Maybe was because it was Saturday? Who knows. Either way, the whole ride felt easy and peaceful -- a really nice way to head home after an emotional airport goodbye.

I love it that it's connected and accessible to both SFO and Oakland Airport as its last stop. While visiting SanFran the traffic can be terrible, and parking is hard to come by, when in areas but many stations are conveniently located near major streets and popular attractions. There are 3 major lines to transverse between NorCal area - yellow, red and blue. The BART is clean and most people respect and follows the rules of "no eating or drinking". I also like now each exits are cornered off in plexiglass....previously it was wide opened so you see a couple local people (mostly teenagers or young adults ) jumping over the turnstiles to avid paying the fares.

But the last two international trips have been a very positive experience. Thank you. And now we have global entry, so hoping it will be even easier moving forward. But I still prefer Oakland's and/or Reno, NV's airport. It felt like we were the only flight that arrived (again), so all hundred of us got through customs quickly. The agents were very quick. Ambiance - A huge location. But SFO is one of the busier airports in the US. I watched you grow from a much smaller location to this. Parking is now very far; you must take a shuttle. Short term hourly parking is $4 for every 30 minutes. $38 maximum. Long term parking = $24 a day. 187 businesses in the airport. 85 of which are dining; 82 shopping, 20 relaxation, etc. 10 gate areas. SFO also has a museum, sky terrace, a kids' spot, lounges, USO, Grand Hyatt, etc. Service - Agents were quick. They did not talk much, which is more than okay with me. Price - We flew French Bee, sorry, I can NOT recommend it. $600 per person with NO frills or anything... Think Spirit airlines, may they rest in peace. Sales tax collected in SFO supports San Mateo county, where this airport is actually physically located. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1927. The City/County of San Mateo has an agreement with SF/SFO on the management of this airport. See their website.

This is my first week riding this shuttle. It has been reliable but as with all things "Caltrain"…read morehas a nonsensical schedule. I guess they changed the schedule first thing Monday, March the 2nd, the day I needed to start taking it. They have a 40 minute break period in between shuttle routes between 7:40am and 8:21am. No one wants to go to work then do they? Geez!! Caltrain!! I had to stop taking it months ago and now rely on the shuttle to get to BART. Fortunately, there is only that one break and the shuttle runs pretty regularly every other 15 mins intervals and the man who drives the bus is so kind and explains everything to you. Today he handed me a schedule and asked me to leave him a good review which I'm doing because people complain like it's his fault his supervisors mess with the schedule. Reliable, efficient, CLEAN, take it.

However, the afternoon driver is the MOST MISERABLE person to walk the face of the earth. I've come across homeless people who are more personable than he. He sneers when you board, he honks because the driver in front of him isn't going fast enough, he gestures because the driver on the other side of the road can't read his mind when he wants to turn left. He's always groaning or sighing, criminy. Sad thing is, he doesn't look like he's anywhere near retirement. I don't expect a Fantasy Island greeting but what the fuck, you're in a service industry pal. Get over yourself and enjoy your simple-ass job of driving a shuttle bus a whole 1.5 miles back and forth.

You'd try to get a taxi in a crowded place like Las Vegas or Milan and wait in line for hours. Some taxi services had the worst cars ever, with no AC and pretty crazy aggressive drivers. Their stories, if they care to share them, can be epic, shocking and/or inspiring! It's not a panacea but it certainly changed the transportation industry and helped many people with cars, get some income flowing on their own schedule. I could tell you some crazy and/or fun uber stories but I will leave that for another day! Life is good with Uber.

This allows them to avoid all the rules, regulations, and taxes that real transportation companies have to pay. Real taxi drivers must show proficiency in English, have a clean driving record and have no felonies. With no checks and balances you have no idea what you are getting. Your Uber driver may have been in jail that morning. He may have a lousy driving record or be a convicted stalker. You just don't know. Saving a couple of dollars is not worth risking your life.
