In fact, even the drivers of the 292 bus aren't aware that this isn't "the" Caltrain station. So while this station may be fantastic on the times it runs, the fact that it exists and that the bus route drivers aren't aware that it doesn't run most of the time can cause trouble when it's late at night and you are now lost in Burlingame because the driver didn't know to drop you off at a working Caltrain station. So, perhaps a sign and some training to local drivers is in order?

I've never come across this level of hospitality before. Usually you have to contact a gate agent to assist in using the elevator and that is if it's working at that station. They seem to go in and out all the time and at some stations they never seem to be in operation. This is a good station to walk to if you are coming from or going to a Giants game. It's actually a closer walk then if you walk to the Embarcadero station and that is where most guests walk to when going to or coming from a GIants game. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the Montgomery BART station to the Ball park. The BART station's first stop if you are heading from Oracle Park to the Pittsburg BayPoint line is the Montgomery station so when we arrive we were able to get seats. Next we stopped at the Embarcadero Station and it was flooded with people and there were very few seats for them, most people had to stand in our train. The initial wait for the train was 15 minutes from the time we entered the station from the Giants game till we hopped on the train. The Daly City line came several times over while we were waiting. Bathrooms. I can't speak to their bathroom situation as we used them at the Ballpark before we left so we didn't need to use them. BART no longer uses the old school BART tickets, they have revolved into using the Clipper Cards or a Credit Card. I have a plastic clipper card somewhere, but I'm not exactly sure where it is and failed to bring it. The good thing about using a Clipper Card is you aren't holding out your credit card to come and go using BART. I was afraid I would drop it in the crowd. They also have a Clipper App you can use, but I'm not a big fan of paying for things with apps. In the end I took my chances and used my credit card as a key to get in and out of the BART station. I'll probably use my Credit Card next time I use BART too just for the convince. In addition I don't like putting money on cards as I always end up with an odd amount left over that I can never use and it ends up to be lost money.

I have been renting cars for pretty much the whole 2014. When i visited the Sno-Zen shaved ice place, I suddenly realized how close that is to walk to this station. And with the new and free Mountain View shuttle, who needs a car nowadays? The only reason I give this a 4 is that I was forced to buy a single trip ticket thanks to no clipper reloading machine here. Next time I will make sure I reload online or at SFO.

Saturday Morning at the Bart Station…read more After dropping off my grandkids for their flight to the East Coast, I decided to take BART home instead of calling a Lyft -- even though my daughter kept telling me I should just take one. I've ridden BART plenty of times before. Usually it's crowded, sometimes a little grimy, but it gets the job done. This time, though, I was honestly surprised. The SF International Airport station felt clean, organized, and surprisingly calm. Maybe was because it was Saturday? Who knows. Either way, the whole ride felt easy and peaceful -- a really nice way to head home after an emotional airport goodbye.

I love it that it's connected and accessible to both SFO and Oakland Airport as its last stop. While visiting SanFran the traffic can be terrible, and parking is hard to come by, when in areas but many stations are conveniently located near major streets and popular attractions. There are 3 major lines to transverse between NorCal area - yellow, red and blue. The BART is clean and most people respect and follows the rules of "no eating or drinking". I also like now each exits are cornered off in plexiglass....previously it was wide opened so you see a couple local people (mostly teenagers or young adults ) jumping over the turnstiles to avid paying the fares.

MUNI listened! 28R now stops at 19th Avenue & Eucalyptus…read more Today, Friday, September 4, 2026, I noticed something that made me very happy: the 28R now has a stop at 19th Avenue & Eucalyptus Street. Every Friday, I go to the YMCA Stonestown at 19th Avenue & Eucalyptus Street, but in the past, the 28R did not stop at Eucalyptus. Whenever I took the 28R, I had to get off at 19th Avenue & Winston Drive and walk about 8 minutes to the YMCA. It was inconvenient, especially when I could take the regular 28 and get off directly at 19th Avenue & Eucalyptus. I started submitting feedback and complaints to MUNI explaining why I believed the 28R should stop at 19th Avenue & Eucalyptus. Nearby destinations include: * M Ocean View Metro -- an important connection to Civic Center, Powell, Montgomery, and Embarcadero stations * 57 Muni bus -- transfer point to Daly City BART * YMCA Stonestown * Lakeside Presbyterian Church * St. Stephen Church * St. Stephen School * Regal Stonestown Galleria * Whole Foods Market * DSW * Stonestown Medical Building * Petco * Restaurants and businesses at Stonestown Galleria * Medical, dental, and specialty care offices * Parkmerced residential community In my MUNI feedback, I explained: When evaluating stop spacing, I encourage SFMTA to consider the experience of riders who rely on public transit daily. What may appear to be a reasonable walking distance on paper can be much more challenging in practice for seniors, students, working commuters, riders carrying groceries, people traveling to medical appointments, parents with children, and individuals with mobility limitations. I also explained that Eucalyptus Street is an important transit connection and community destination, including connections to the M Ocean View Metro and the 57 Muni bus to Daly City BART. Adding a 28R stop at Eucalyptus would make transportation much more convenient and accessible. And today, it happened! The 28R stopped at 19th Avenue & Eucalyptus. After my movie at Regal, I would normally have to walk to 19th Avenue & Winston Drive to catch the 28 or 28R. Now I can simply walk to 19th Avenue & Eucalyptus, which is a much shorter and easier walk to catch the bus. Congratulations and THANK YOU, MUNI, for listening to my feedback! I absolutely enjoy the peacefulness of MUNI Route 28L 19TH AVENUE LIMITED. This route is not as…read morecrowded as the 28 19TH AVENUE LOCAL. There is no service on the 28L between 9 AM - 2 PM from Monday - Friday! Too bad this route does not have weekend service either! Quick Tip: - Inbound Terminal: Fort Mason - Outbound Terminal: Daly City BART The 28L making fewer stops providing faster service is one of the best routes. Also just for a quick note, I wouldn't recommend using www.nextmuni.com or looking at the screen of the GPS bus tracking system at select bus stops as they aren't always 100% accurate. You're way better off peaking out to see if there is a bus arriving at your stop or not! One of the good things I do like about taking the 28L is that there is a seat when I get on the bus. When there is a 28 coming to my stop and I notice that the 28 is too crowded or I see a 28L right behind, I'll get on the 28L instead! Was waiting at the station this afternoon for the #625 northbound train. It came. It stopped. NONE…read moreof the doors opened. After about 2 minutes, the train left. There were 40 people on the platform just staring in disbelief. No announcement, no message, no conductor. (Yes, it was the correct train -- the message board said so and the timing was correct.) I missed an important appointment, and probably got charged (and definitely was charged for parking).

This is a clean, easy-to-navigate CalTrain station. As far as train stations go, there isn't much…read moreto see. You can park in the parking lot or simply walk to the station. Thankfully, I live near this station. I can walk under Alma Street via the pedestrian underpass (at Jerry Bowden Park) and take a quick left and arrive at the station. The building is usually unattended (although I have seen security guards a few times). TICKETS: You purchase your boarding passes/tickets at the machine. I usually purchase an all-day pass and keep it in my wallet. A train conductor will periodically ask to see it. WHICH SIDE? If you're traveling north bound (from Palo Alto to San Francisco or anywhere in-between), you'll need to cross under the tracks via the stairs/sidewalk just south of the building. If you're traveling south bound, you can simply wait on the building's side of the tracks. That's about it! Oh...there isn't very much covered seating (a few covered benches). Thus, if you're traveling in the rain, you might want to bring an umbrella. The bicycle cart tends to be near the front of the train, so you'll want to stand near the northern covered bench if you're bringing a bike.

At this point, SFMTA has failed its communities in all aspects. From my experience, I will demonstrate how employees treated me, and the results of my commute. Experience #1: I lost my clipper card, and I asked one of the employees at the information booth how to operate it the app. Many of the workers do not don't know! Others gave me wrong information. Experience #2: I was appalled about how the Transit Fare Inspector treated me. Badge #F65, Eugene Bulkin labled me as difficult for not showing my ID. I was honest, and cooperative in this type of situation. To look superior, he forcefully made me find my ID in my fanny pak after mentioning, losing ID at the bar. He also threatened me to call dispatch. Lastly, he went through my bag by peeking that he saw my ID. Besides, trying to sound superior and attempting to degrade passengers/tourist, the worst part is that he embarrassed me by telling my rides at other transit agencies! Bulkin, becareful who you are talking to with that attitude of yours. You will get the person that will make you learn a lesson.

You ride the blue line to get to the bart station. Once I got to the bart station, there were already trains waiting for you. I had to figure out which one to go. Either one works cause I had to do a transfer later to another line. I end up getting off Balboa Park to transfer from yellow line to blue line for Dublin. Overall, the AirTrain is very convenient. If you are taking bart to go to SFO, you will need to take the AirTrain to go to your terminal. Very convenient.
