I think it would help you if you watch YouTube videos at Caltrain website to give you more details of the dos and don'ts. Of course I didn't, so there are rules that I learned during my ride. For example, make sure to get a yellow tag for your bike and mark your destination. For example, "San Mateo to Mountain View." This will help other riders placed their bikes with the same destination next to yours. Also, look for train cars with a bike icon, and know ahead which train # stops at your final destination. Saturday Morning at the Bart Station…read more After dropping off my grandkids for their flight to the East Coast, I decided to take BART home instead of calling a Lyft -- even though my daughter kept telling me I should just take one. I've ridden BART plenty of times before. Usually it's crowded, sometimes a little grimy, but it gets the job done. This time, though, I was honestly surprised. The SF International Airport station felt clean, organized, and surprisingly calm. Maybe was because it was Saturday? Who knows. Either way, the whole ride felt easy and peaceful -- a really nice way to head home after an emotional airport goodbye.

In fact, even the drivers of the 292 bus aren't aware that this isn't "the" Caltrain station. So while this station may be fantastic on the times it runs, the fact that it exists and that the bus route drivers aren't aware that it doesn't run most of the time can cause trouble when it's late at night and you are now lost in Burlingame because the driver didn't know to drop you off at a working Caltrain station. So, perhaps a sign and some training to local drivers is in order?

I guess they changed the schedule first thing Monday, March the 2nd, the day I needed to start taking it. They have a 40 minute break period in between shuttle routes between 7:40am and 8:21am. Fortunately, there is only that one break and the shuttle runs pretty regularly every other 15 mins intervals and the man who drives the bus is so kind and explains everything to you. Today he handed me a schedule and asked me to leave him a good review which I'm doing because people complain like it's his fault his supervisors mess with the schedule.
