Once inside the customer service is far from exceptional. I am pretty convinced at this point it is an age matter. I am younger than the normal Chico's shopper. I can walk in and shop around and NO one acknowledges my existence and I never leave without finding something to purchase. I have been to shop in business attire as well as dressed down Saturday and it does not make a difference. I cannot attribute it to race either all the associates ignore. I have commented numerous times via the online survey but sadly the service does not change or improve. I have began to shop via their website instead. The service is so rude and obvious prime example I was in today and walked by three associates and NEVER greeted. Another lady walked in and two associates nearly attacked her offering assistance and greetings. But for me the treatment that sent me over was at checkout when I was in the process of starting checkout and a woman walked up with some items in hand and the cashier turned to assist her and apologized for having to finish up with me. Online for my future I can always provide myself with great customer service!

After trying on a dress that fit her almost perfectly and that she liked but which both of us agreed was far too expensive for our budget, Hyi, the co-owner, started coming on very strong with the hard sell and did not seem to want to take "no" for an answer. When we told him that we were only in the early stages of looking at dresses, that this particular dress was too expensive, and that we hadn't set a date yet or done any other planning, he told my fiancee that I was not yet ready to get married. Needless to say, this caused a big, nasty, week-long argument with my fiancee, who was naturally distraught by Hyi's comment. Hyi's remarks took a huge emotional toll on both of us, all so that he could sell us a dress for several thousand dollars. This guy should never be allowed to deal with customers. I felt afterwards as if I had been harassed. I would give this place negative stars, but that's not an option, so I'm forced to give it a single star. I would never enter this establishment again. Caveat emptor.
