First Burlington I've came to and had a bad experience. Burlington stores are on my top shopping stores of all time, and I've been to many of them. I usually always go to the shoes and sandals section and I must say there was a mess of shoes everywhere on the floor and about 15 shoes alarm all goin off at the same time. The hat section was a mess hats everywhere, most hats were all over the floor rather than the racks. The carpet itself all around the floors smelled really bad, smelled like no one had cleaned it in a very long time needs a deep clean. The lines were literally more than a block long at the register. My son needed jeans and sweaters since the cold is hitting us in the mornings now. Decided to come here and see what their selection looked like. I haven't gone into a Burlington in a while and decided to check then out and compare their prices to Ross, Marshall's, etc. This is definitely a big store with a variety of clothing for men, women, teens, and kids. They have a clearance section as well. Everything was very organized and able to locate. We were able to find a few pairs of pants and sweaters immediately without having to dig around a while to find something useful. They have an accessory section, purses, perfumes, pajamas, and a lot of house decorations as well. It's like a ross but definitely bigger. The prices are the same as those stores as well. Went on a Tuesday evening and was not busy at all. They have a HUGE parking lot with plenty of parking spots. I would come here again. read more

I have never had an issue coming to Burlington I always come here. But today Tyrone an employee decided to speak his mind and be rude. While I was looking at stuff in an aisle. Saying why are u looking at this your to old for this shit. While I was looking at the lights. I don't why he said his smart comment to me. Hadn't been to a Burlington Coat Factory in maybe in over 10 years. That was the location near Pineville. I went today looking for a coat. Usually I get thru a Charlotte winter without much wintering wear... Buy it's supposed to get real cold in the new year. At least today nobody greeted me or others in the store. I couldn't find an employee around to even ask a question to... the racks were a mess. Different sizes all around .. coats, hoodies on floor. Pretty messy. I didn't find anything to purchase. This is a great place to shop. They have brand names of clothing and accessories. I found tons of Christmas gifts for my family and winter clothes for the kids. We found shoes too that the kids liked that are brand names. The store staff was helpful and so nice to help us find what we were looking for. In this season of crazy shopping it was nice to see a friendly smile and find so much of our holiday shopping list all in one place. I highly recommend this store. It was so neat and clean. I've never been so disrespected in my entire life! I'm shopping for a chair for my desk. I saw one I liked in this store. So I sat in it, swiveled around, testing it out. An associate passed by and said, "Sir, you can't sit in the chair." Mind you they have chairs, ottomans, benches, etc..... I said, "Excuse me? I'm testing it out to see if I might purchases it." She proceeded to repeat back to me, that I wasn't allowed to sit in the chair. I told her to, "Shut up!" She then went off on me. That I was disrespecting her! Ranting and raving like a lunatic. I then found the manager on duty, explained what happened, and she tried to tell me, "Well, sometimes we get kids who play on the furniture." I'm a 52 year old grown man! The manager went to get me the chair as I waited up front. The rude associate came towards the front of the store still ranting and then she said it....... she literally called me a "fat ass"! I went there during my lunch break today to buy a new wallet. Fortunately for me the wallet kiosk was literally right in front of the front door. Unfortunately for me I took Becky, my gf, with me and she wanted to buy something. HAHA! The place is massive and has tons of clothes, shoes, accessories and a bunch of other stuff at very cheap prices. I actually had to stop myself from picking up and buying a bunch of shirts and shoes. The store has an easy to follow departmentalized layout. The employees are friendly and courteous and the checkout line moves fast. I was able to find my wallet, a very nice Perry Ellis black leather trifold, for $14.99 so I was happy. Becky wasn't so lucky with whatever it is she wanted to buy. read more

This Burlington COAT factory has the worst selection of coats that I have ever seen- don't waste your time stopping at this location

The employees got all mad because i wanted to try the clothing on before buying it. Above the shelves it says to see an employee to try things on but you dont wanna let me when i do? I apologize that i dont know my size with the particular brands you sell here before coming in. Prices are good and all but they made me look through racks of clothing to find similar clothing to try on instead. What a joke this place is. Youre a clothing store isnt it more of a hassle for me to take it home unwrap it and then having to log returns then just letting a customer try on clothes before buying them? The best way to describe the place is that it's a TJMaxx only better. Much cleaner and better organized. My daughter in-law asked me to find a bathing suit for my granddaughter right before a cruise we were taking. So I went and ask and after they stopped laughing at me they said no. It's coat season. Usually I really enjoy shopping at this store. because the items are a lot less here than you would find them at a shopping mall. Today I was in the mood to go shopping for some clothes because I am tired of my wardrobe at home and it has been awhile since I have been back to the store, They really did a nice job remodeling it I must say. Anyway, I am giving it a three because the dressing room was a mess on this particular day. The room I chose to try my clothes on was very messy.. It had clothes everywhere and some trash on the floor with an old coke. I guess no one bothered to come by and clean it, So I switched rooms. I enjoy shopping at BCF. Typically when you are looking for something off season (like a white suit during Winter), you can find it here. They have suits galore and I was able to find exactly what I was looking for for a GREAT price! The store has everything, clothing for the family, shoes, housewares, jewelry, purses, and more. When you go, plan to spend some time looking around the store. That way, you will find surprising bargains. There is plenty of merchandise to peruse; you will not be disappointed. Now, there are times I don't find anything to purchase, but then, I am in the store at least 2-3 times each month. I am giving BCF four stars because the return line is the same line for lay-away purchases and pickups. I waited a very long time on my last visit while regular purchase cashiers cleared their customers and moved on to other tasks vs. helping customers in the return/lay-away line. Fortunately for them, I really wanted the merchandise I had in hand so I had to wait in the line. read more
