I was short on time while doing some last minute Xmas shopping. But I found a bunch of great gifts for my family here but thought I was going to have to come back to purchase them. Never buy perfume or cologne here!!!! I bought a bottle of cool water for women on impulse and later realized I bought the wrong perfume. Upon trying to return, I was accused of using it because they are selling these items without the cellophane wrap and insisted that I was lying and had unwrapped it. It was absolutely obviously that there had been no cellophane, the perfect burlington price sticker was stuck to the box. How could that be if there had been a cellophane wrapping around it? I didn't think about it at purchase, because I hadn't bought any perfume in years and wouldn't have if I had thought of it. The tall Hispanic manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. Standing my ground and not backing down did get it returned, but it is unlikely I will ever shop here again and definitely not anything other than purses or household. Just as a side note the makeup and fragrances not sealed calls into question contamination from people getting into the cosmetics and genuine fragrance. Burlington should never acquire unsealed products from these categories. I noticed the cosmetics when I was shopping and as a cosmetologist most of it is garbage, some is closeout of popular brands just look it over carefully. read more

This is the biggest Burlington Coat Factory I've ever been to. Set some time aside to navigate your way through because there is a lot to look at. Oh and the SHOES! So many of them, downstairs and upstairs. Yes two floors! There is a lot of treasures to uncover here. read more

Somebody tell the store manager the trash can out front is overflowing... It gets better tho. When your looking for some clothes you have to look at every thing on the rack because the sizes are all mixxed up. The store is all dirty jus look at the floor next to the walls and displays. Dont buy anything thats hanging low... The dressing rooms had trash piled up in em, yuk. The elevator made wierd noises. This is a cheap dirty spot. I hope they take care of the pile at the front door but that shoulda been a clue to go somewhere else. read more

Will not go back ever. Half the dressing rooms were closed off and I actually caught a lot of attitude from one of the employees because I needed to use the handicap stall (baby in the cart)! I bought 1 pair of jogging pants and was charged for 2. I went back with my receipt and the 1 pair of pants I bought with the tags in place. The manager came over to handle it and proceeded over to a woman by the front doors sitting in front of a security screen and they proceeded to start checking it to find me on the screen. I stood there for 10-15 minutes while they were looking for me on the screen. I finally went over there, very upset, to find out what they were looking for! Blah, blah blah. This store is just a mess. Everything is thrown in places and stuff on the floor. I just wanted to get some Christmas present for my friends. I found more thrift store more clean and organized than this place. I even saw item broken just on the shelf for sale. Who is going to buy an item that is broken? Not to mention horrible customer service. The greeter just stared at me as I entered into the building. Definitely do not recommend this place at all. Save your money and go to either another Burlington or somewhere else. read more

I also enjoy the organization in comparison to other Burlington's... Absolute poor service and logic by the manager Charles. I bought a large, 100lb crib and they brought out a box with plenty of damage to it but told me I wouldn't have any problems if there was any damage to the crib itself. It was so big that I had to break down the box and load it in my SUV in pieces. After assembling half the crib at home i found out that the small metal frame that holds the mattress was bent. I called the store, expecting them to be able to allow me to exchange out the frame. NOPE. The manager, Charles, said it was company policy not to 'part out' returns. He said i could either return the whole crib to get a whole new crib or call the 1-800 customer service number so they could send me a replacement part in a couple weeks. I tried to get him to understand basic logic, explaining that whether i returned the frame and we exchanged the part or i returned everything and exchanged it, the end result was the same. The only difference was that exchanging the frame would keep me from having to disassemble the crib, then load and unload the oversized, 100 lb crib for the sake of policy. Unfortunately critical thinking was a bit above Charles' pay grade and he stuck to his 'company policy' guns. read more

A dream store for bargain hunters! I'm surprised at all of the bad reviews of this store because it is my favorite place to shop. There is a huge selection and the deals are incredible. I find hats that other stores sell for $35 for only $7.99 to $12. Adorable, chic jackets for less than $20. This place has the incredible prices Ross used to have before the down turn and a much bigger selection. For people who love the fun of scanning through racks to find something adorable for a great price, this is the best place in town. The prices are better than Marshalls and Ross. I shop at all three, but find more stuff and the cheapest prices at Burlington. I only discovered it last year. I always thought it was just a coat store and was amazed to find everything Ross sells and more. I have bought some gorgeous dresses for my niece at super low prices, as well. I guess for people don't have the ability to scan through racks to find a gem, it might feel overwhelming to deal with so much volume. But for those of us who love to search for a deal, there are lots of great ones at Burlington. read more

I shopped with a $25 giftcard and the first clerk made a mistake so she called for help. The next supervisor couldn't figure out what happened and kept thanking me for my patience but the register took my entire $25 but wouldn't go further. She then called for the manager who didn't know what to do and was making phone calls. They refused to give me a new card with the $25 back on it (after they verified what was originally on the card) or complete my purchase. After 30 minutes I demanded my money and they finally complied. The manager kept telling me I'd have to come back and leave them with my card and merchandise. I've called the Corporate office to tell them I was held hostage and that was a week ago. Needless to say "Customer Service" isn't in their vocabulary. Not getting a call back from their office is proof they do not care. My mistake was going into this store as others are better. read more

First time visitor and pretty impressed. They are in the midst of remodeling, and will check them out again in the future. Clothing is well organized, and the upstairs has children's and home/household items. Customer service was decent as well, lines a little long, but doable. Wow, I can't believe how rude and ignorant the employees are at this store! I had my 10 year old daughter and my cute little chiiauah with me . He is a service animal and I have a prescription for him. I'm aware you need this to have an animal assist you in any store or establishment . But as soon as we walk in the door my daughter goes to grab a cart . She set our dog Into the shopping cart. The sales associate like literally yells across the store at my daughter telling her you cannot have that animal in the cart over in the store and what are you doing? I was like he's a service animal and she yells again well what service does he provide? And then I said about he's my emotional support dog. My doctor gave me a prescription for him. And she said well that doesn't count . I was like excuse me then go ahead and call the cops then because you obviously don't know what you're talking about because he is a service animal I don't pay a penny for him at my apartment and I have been actual prescription from a certified mental health doctor. And then I was like I don't even know why I'm arguing this with you. Then I proceeded to tell the man behind the counter and he said that I needed to have the actual paper in my hand So I pulled it up on my phone. Then they told me that that doesn't count. So I just left I will never shop there again who is she to Yell at my daughter first of all. Then To ask me in that manner what service he provides? She's lucky I left without explaining what service he provides ??! He actually keeps my emotions in check and helps me not flip out on people like her . She's lucky it was early enough in the day ! Lmao ! That's discrimination anyways. They could've pulled us aside and asked they don't have to put me on blast in front of everyone for my daughter As if I was going to make something up. I give this store and a manager and a customer service line 0 stars ! I have an item that made me and my 6 month old child sick . I was trying to exchange it for something else since I don't have a receipt. Manager didn't take it , saying the box been open and item been used . I did explain we did use it and it's unsafe and dangerous because it made me and my baby sick overnight . He gave me customer service number to call and I did next morning. Lady on the phone understood my situation and was very nice . Then she said she doesn't understand why I received no help from store level . After contacting this store and same manager she was told I had no receipt and that's why he didn't take my item back . Now I'm confused because I was told one thing at the store and the same manager told a different thing to a customer service Lady . But the funny part is he did take my second item without receipt and gave me gift card no problem . And I wasn't asking for anything else . Now I'm stuck with a dangerous item and unsafe item that store sells and other customers will purchase . I don't understand their policy and it makes no sense . Management makes up lies and provides horrible services . I will not shop at stores like that and don't recommend to you specially if you have a child . read more

I CAN NOT BELIEVE they have made STEALING legal here. Disgusted. Appalled. I bought shoes a little over 2 months ago from this place, and they were a little too big so I left them in the back of my car thinking I would find time to take them back. Unfortunately I was faced with some life events that prevented my ability to return them prior to the 30 day limit. I finally brought my shoes back with the receipt, untouched, tags still attached today and the manager Erick stated sorry, I can't over ride the system which is ringing your shoes up for half the price you purchased for. I showed him the receipt and requested the money that I had paid for the shoes, still nothing, like talking to a rock. He said "the best I can do is give you 10% off your purchase." Then left me with" normally it takes a couple days for people to figure it out..." insinuating I was in limbo for over 2 months about the shoes...(yeah because I thought about the shoes first thing in morning and last thing before bed, everyday for over 2 months). I've never been treated like this before at any other store!!!! Soooo disappointed with the disrespect and the lack of customer service.
