I've been here twice now and they put a "out of service" sign on there bathroom. They tell you to go to Burger King across the street. They are not out of service the employees just don't want to clean them once it gets later in the afternoon close to closing time so they put signs up. read more

Due to the covid-19 the store was very empty. However, this location is giving an additional 25% off all merchandise which for me made up for the lack of inventory. It took some time to find all the items on my shopping list which were just a few basic needs such as socks, underwear, house slippers, and swimming goggles but my list was completed. I'm giving them 4 stars because lack inventory is no fault of their own. I was still given great customer service while shopping by an associate and by the cashier, they had more selection at this time than Ross, and I did feel safe with my experience today. I don't recommend going here if you don't have patience or high expectations. But, if you're the type of person that likes finding good deals and just goes with the flow then go to Burlington. read more

I like coming to Burlington Coat Factory, I feel like you never know what you'll find. It's kinda like a treasure hunt. I actually found a pair of Adidas that are super cute and cheap for $34.99 and at Ross in the same plaza it was $39.99! True Burlington is kind of messy but I feel like any discounted department stores are almost always a bit messy. They have some items cheaper then Ross and it's kind of shocking to me. Not everything but so far everything I glance and thought of buying was. I wouldn't come here unless I'm in the mood to shop tho because it's pretty messy and unorganized. I don't ever think of coming here on the weekend because I'm not a fan of long lines or crying kids running all over the store. But overall I'm happy with my experience with this store. read more

They have great deals on different products here. In the past I liked getting my suits here, not anymore because the last time I wanted to purchase a suit I had asked for help from one of the employees who did not help me any way I wanted. In the past when I bought a suit one of the clerks helped measure me to find the right type of suit I needed for going to an interview. She had asked me what kind of style I was looking for. With my recent experience the lady did the opposite. She avoided my question by showing me the dressing room. I ended up buying pants that didn't match the suit and had to return them. Also I just went to this store today because they sent me a $9 certificate. I was trying to buy ONE item! Why the heck did I need to wait in line for 40 minutes just to make a SINGLE purchase?! The line was backed up to probably the middle part of the store and they had one register open. What blew my mind was it took them 30 minutes to open up a second register after a lady sent her kid to go ask the manager for it to happen. Can't they see the huge line?! Also why were there around six people in the Returns and Customer Service area when there was only one person at the registers? This location is very unorganized and messy! It doesn't seem like there's any type of management on duty to place structure or a sense of urgency. I'm not sure why they have 13 registers, but only 4 of them are open; the line is wrapping around the store. We're not even sure who works on the floor. They are possibly short staffed, so this place definitely needs some help! We waited in line for 20 minutes and the lady at the register does not even greet us, apologize for the wait, nor handle our transaction in a friendly customer service manner. She's rushed us as if she waited for so long. Suggestion: hire more people and hire people who actually want to be there. read more

It felt like this location was "Under Construction" for several years, you had the middle of the store all squared off my friends and I thought " This would be amazing if you Installed a Burlington Juice and Wine Bar in the middle of the store so we can shop sip and spend but that never happened....... Even with the remodel, this feels as old , dingy, dusky, and need of a full re-design. When your stores were more like the inside of a bed bath and beyond it was much better but you can clearly see that you are trying to re-design the inside to match a Ross or TJMaxx, we don't need that we have plenty of those what Burlington needs to be is new, hip, fresh, and targeted towards millennial and genZ thats where all your money and future clientelle will come from, the old way of doing things is wrong, and just trying to copy another retailer kind of makes Burlington look desperate.... So go back to the drawing board and get that Burlington Juice and Wine Bar Going, the store needs it more than you will ever know. They have everything here!! Its a really big store! It's super organized in the front but once you start making your way to the back, it gets a bit messy. The shoes are all over the place. Some shoes aren't even in their proper box. It's like land mines in that area with shoes all over the place.The clothing racks in general is a HUGE MESS. I get so overwhelmed that I stop looking after a minute. I sort of just browse and if something catches my eye, I will grab it. Other then that I just walk around. I've noticed they carry the same stuff at ross, and the shirts are a bit cheaper over there. In terms of bras and panties, they're cheaper here. They have some for .99! The home decor section is horrendous. Behind the sample curtains is a ball of fabric. You'll find them our of their packages, packages and fabric everywhere. Its extremely hard to find anything in there. I'm not even sure how I was able to find my thermal curtains in there but I did. Sad thing is, it only had one panel when it came with two. What takes even longer is getting a discount for the missing curtain. Apparently they have to get their manager to approve of it. The cashier walkie-talkie the manager and she came over after having to wait 5 minutes. I had to wait on the side for her to go look for it. After a long 5 minutes, she told them it could be found. My friend needed some sort of a warm coat for his trip to New York. After searching stores like Macys, Express Men, Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, Nordstrom, etc., we couldn't find ONE single coat that he liked and that was appropriate for New York's freezing weather! Finally, as a last resort, we checked out Burlington Coat Factory. I mean, the place has "COAT" in the title, how could we go wrong? Although it is a little rundown inside and a tad bit messy, we finally navigated ourselves to the coat section. After browsing for a few minutes, trying on a few options, and noting the prices, it seemed as though we were going to be out of luck. But then I caught a glimpse of a nice black wool coat with leather snaps and a nice high collar on it. At first my friend was skeptical since it looked too big, but then he tried it on and we both LOVED it. We should have just come to Burlington first, but hey. The price wasn't bad either! $79.99! Only one cashier today for approximately 25 minutes. No apologies or even eagerness to speed up and get the 10 customers who were in line checked out. I almost walked out, but had already waited so long. There were 2-3 employees up front the entire time, but only 1 employee working on reducing the long line. A serious joke. I was walking towards her and she starts rolling her eyes and gives me attitude bc she thought I cut someone in line and proceeded to tell me the other person was first. Another employee tells her it's ok and that I was the first in line. I explain that I was first in line bc she's cont. to give me attitude. And she tells me in a very demeaning condescending way "You were behind the coke machine so I couldn't see you." I ask her her name. She said Sharpa. And I apologized to her for offending her in anyway bc her response wasn't very friendly. She said IT'S OK. Sharpa could have handled this situation differently. I don't know if she was just having a bad day or it's just me or she handles her customer like this on a regular basis? Please relocate Sharpa to work in the back where she doesn't have to work w. customers or educate her on customer service skills. Oh Burlington What is happening to you??? My husband and I are crazy Burlington fans! The prices are ridiculously low. They have a huge variety of clothing, shoes and household items. And to top it off we have been shopping at Burlington for years. In the Bay area, on Florin Road and now in good old Elk Grove. We have gone to the Elk Grove location, 3 times in the last few weeks, attempting to complete our Christmas shopping. But have only been meet by CHAOS!! Disorganized racks of clothing, shoes in the wrong area and missing shoes, crazy long long lines and the prices are only OK. I'm so disappointed! What happen to the variety? I love their new layout and the fact that their junior's clothing is up to date. I ended up trying on about 15 pairs of high waisted skinny jeans and loved them all! And the majority of them were in the clearance section too. The only thing I don't like about this place is that the fitting rooms smells horrible. It literally smells like feet and the odor is really strong to the point where all I want to do is hold in my breath. The fitting rooms could use some air fresheners or a vent! read more

I've only been to this location a few times since it opened and I've only walked out with a purchase once. The store is always seems to be organized and clean in the areas closest to the doors. The shoes always seem to be in disarray and I'm always finding myself stepping over shoes and/or boxes left on the floor in the aisles. The employees that I've come in contact with seem to not want to be there. The employees who I encountered on the floor always seem to look at me with a look telling me not to mess up the racks that they had just fixed or whatever.
