I understand sometimes that there's emergency and people don't show up to work. Or it's just really understaffed, but everyone should be trained as backup on a register. We've been in line at the 4th customer for more than 15 mintues. As soon as there is more then 5 people in line should call for another cashier. The line continues to grown into a loop into the aisle and still no call for help, no backup. I asked the girl behind the register that was just going back and forth picking up go backs from the register and collecting there labels but was just told they don't have another one until 8. That person basically will be at the register for 2 hour at most if they close at 10pm. Bottom line all staff should be train as backup at a register. I work in retail and I know sometimes it's like that but we always would have backup or the managers on hand should step up and open to reduce the line. read more

I go here once a week to grab a few pieces of clothing all the time. Affordable prices on popular street branded clothing. I'm a big guy, and this is the place for me. They've always got something new when I come in and I always leave with something I really want. Sure, their clothing comes and goes, but every time you enter, I'm sure you'll leave with something, if not, you'll exit thinking about the item(s) you should of bought. I came here in need of a couple items in different departments and was kinda put down that they drastically reduced their inventory in many departments including home, baby and underclothes. The clothes and shoes do still have a big variety but I loved being able to go to one store and find almost everything I need and was sad to see it change so much. I really wish that they would close this store and bring in a store that isn't a dump. I went to get a children's suit. I was able to find what I needed. They're going through a remodel. The store is a comp mess! Junk everywhere. I went to check out. There was only one cashier and at least a dozen people in line. Horrible place. I don't normally come here but I wanted some costume jewelry. Waited in line for 15 mins. When I was I 3rd in line the "supervisor" comes out and tells the people at the back of the line to come up front to a new register opening. WTF. That makes no sense. Then a pair of earrings I wanted was missing 1/3 of the earrings. The "supervisor" comes over and offers 10% off. Really it's missing more than 10% of the items lol. Place was messy as hell very disorganized, I had kids and women's clothing all mixed in with the men's clothes, shoes was all over the floor in the shoe dept. long slow lines at the register and I finally got my turn, this slow and older black woman with glasses asked me if I was in the loyalties program and I said I don't know what email would it be under as I tried a couple of emails the cashier got impatient and said just do it next time like I'm here right now! Good ... Super clean & organized. Bad ... It was 10am. After standing in a line of 6people & 10 mins of waiting. A worker came around & said the line starts over there, so we all moved.. One cashier, then two cashiers.. we waiting for a total of 28 mins in line. No one was called, as i sat waiting with a friend i watched 4 employees sorting out jewelry less then 100 feet from the line. Not one of them came to help, there was a lady stand behind the counter of the cashier, just standing there. Not sure what she was doing, to me nothing! I could not believe we waited (I'm a good friend) I had a cart of stuff i just left it behind.. Our checker was nice, she did make the comment that she'd wish he fellow employees would come help. If I can give this place 0 stars I would. Their customer service is horrible. Worst I've ever experienced. I bought shoes and the cashier didn't give me a receipt so I called to see if I can return it. The lady on the phone said to just bring it in as long as the barcode is on the shoes which it was. I went there and waited on the long line for 20 minutes. Right when I got to the customer service cashier she told me that I couldn't return it cuz I don't have a receipt. I told her what the girl on the phone said and she looked at her coworker and they just told me they can't return it without it. You guys messed up and I'm the one paying for it. They weren't even trying to help me AT ALL. I was still talking to the cashier and she said "I can help the next in line". That got me so angry that I just left. Horrible experience. I'm very disappointed in this establishment, because they wouldn't allow me to return an item which started to deteriorate within 1 week. The manager Aaliyah was sarcastic in her response as to why I couldn't return or exchange the item. DO NOT BUY ANY LIGHT COLORED PURSES from here which may become discolored due to rubbing on jackets or anything for that matter because you'll be stuck with it. CUSTOMERS BEWARE. Please read this. My brother in law went shopping at this location today with my sister to buy clothes for their kids. My brother in law had a $100 dollar bill that he had gotten from Bank of America to buy clothes for their kids. A couple of sales people looked at the 100 dollar bill and told him that the bill was fake and they were going to keep it. They had no means to legally verify that the money was fake.(i.e they do not have a machine in the store to verify that the bill is counterfeit). My brother in law was upset and wanted his money back. The sales people would not give him the money but neither would they call the police. My sister said that they were treated like criminals. They went home. My brother in law called Bank of America to let them know that he was told that the bill was fake. He was advised to go back to the store to get the money back. He want back and spoke to the store manager and she decided to give him the money back. My sister said that they were told that they were the only people to come back for their money. WTF does that even mean? Are store employees stealing money from hard working customers by pretending that the bill is fake? My brother in law has limited understanding of the English language and I feel like that employees of this store saw that and took advantage of a hard working man. So customers beware..........If the store really thought that the bill was fake, why did they not call the police? I think there is something shady going on in that store. You do not treat your customers like this. You do not take a 100 dollar bills from a customer and claim that it is fake without legally verifying that the money is counterfeit. Waited in line for over 15 minutes before I decided to put my things down and leave. As my son and I where headed for the door another child knocked over a five foot tall stack of carrying baskets that nearly toppled right onto my small child. FOUR employees saw this happen and NOT ONE showed any amount of concern. An older gentleman who was a customer rushed over to help pick up the baskets and make sure my son was okay. The gentleman's WIFE insisted that the baskets should not be placed that high. I could not believe that the employees did not care that my child was nearly seriously hurt at their store. I love this store...it may take alittle time to dig through alot of clothes, but its well worth it to find such great prices!!! they have tons of Plus size clothing....i found some Lee very good quality jeans , so comfy and for only $12.99....ive shopped at the Lane Brayant outlets and the cheapest jeans i could ever find were $30 so this is the first year i have found high quality plus size clothes this cheap!!!! Lane Bryant is so high...ill never go there again....and also the Avenue has become so expensive i no longer go there.....i used to buy a blouse there for $25 or $30 now the cheapest one is $48 and the quality is not the best....Macys plus sizes are great and if they are on sale you get some great bargains there also....but the Burlington in Elk Grove is number one!!!! angela DeMartini read more

I never use them, so I don't but as many as I could if I would have been able to try some things on. Also, their lines are unnecessarily long. They need to work on this in my opinion. read more
