1 Star (less than if I could) I've been a regular customer at this Burlington branch for year!! The extended hrs are convenient for those of us who work long shifts. Always recommended friends/fam to this branch specifically. On May 28, 2026, 11:25PM I arrived after a double shift to quickly buy a bday gift. Around 11:35 PM, an older associate with gray hair approached me in the shoe department and told me they were clearing the areas? I confirmed the store closed at midnight, she said yes but still stood from a distance to watch me. Uncomfortable as heck, I rushed to grab a pair of shoes & immediately headed to checkout. While waiting in line I decided to grab a gift bag in-front of the registers, from across the floor - I see the same associate sprinting over towards me loudly saying, "Ma'am, you have to go, we're closed." I checked my watch, clarifying that it's 11:45, leaving a mere 15 minutes before it's actually 12am ..? What's funny is I was literally next up in line. She rolls her eyes and walks away leaving me and the kind cashier at an awkward silence? The problem is the store wasn't closed. There were still multiple customers lingering on the floor while I was already waiting in line to pay. I understand employees wanting to go home, but customers shouldn't be rushed out before the posted closing time. but this interaction made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. SUGGESTION -- If customers are expected to leave before midnight, then Burlington should post an earlier closing time. Don't advertise midnight hours if customers are going to be followed around the store asking us to leave before 12am. This will be my final visit at this branch due to the little-to-no customer service and poor time management from 1 single associate. The LITTLE TO NO UNTRAINED customer service recieved today will 100% be shared for community awareness with family/friends. I love getting branded coats and jackets for Christmas presents at Burlington, especially at this location. And on my recent visit, I want to give a special shout out to store personnel Mateo for his outstanding customer service. While I was on queue at the checkout counter, I was informed that there's a big system issue and the counters are only doing cash transactions. I was only there to make an exchange and I appreciate the fact that Mateo did not turn me down right away and really tried to facilitate my transaction. A naturally kind, naturally pleasant customer-centric person and is exactly what we need during the season--his coworker on the other station kept saying he won't be able to make it, but he did! I appreciate the gesture a lot and I always make it a point to let companies know those employees who deserve commendations. The supervisor was very kind too. read more

I visited this Burlington yesterday and had a very unpleasant experience. As soon as I walked into the store, there was a horrible smell throughout the entire place. It honestly smelled like a dirty public restroom or sewage, and it was extremely overpowering. I tried to continue shopping, but the smell made me feel very uncomfortable and I literally kept gagging while walking through the store. It was so bad that I ended up leaving shortly after arriving because I couldn't tolerate it. A store environment should feel clean and welcoming for customers, but unfortunately that was not the case here. Burlington needs to take better care of their employees. This location has been without air conditioning for YEARS now. It's barely tolerable for those of us shopping there, but at least we can escape the building. The employees are stuck there. It's even worse on the second floor, there are times when I've been there where the upstairs was so unbearably hot it's a wonder that the staff weren't all passed out on the floor. The bathrooms are always filthy and smell awful. There's rarely any paper towels and they've done away with all toilet seat liners. The elevator is full of graffiti and dirt. Not to mention it stinks too. It's obvious from how poorly maintained this place is that Burlington doesn't care one bit about their employees. They could all die from black mold and heat stroke and they'd just shove their corpse off to the side and bring in more people to slowly torture to death. Do better by your employees, Burlington. Found the merchandise I was looking for, luckily for decent prices. That's pretty much where the positive part ends. I tend to stay away from this specific store as a rule of thumb, but my husband and I had an hour to kill since we had lunch nearby, so we took a chance. Big mistake. Clothing felt cheap to the touch, jewelry looked like it had missing pieces and looked like kids play jewelry, toddler boy section was practically non-existent as well. My baby needed changing and they denied me bathroom access. Apparently it's not for customer use. I glanced over to see if the dressing rooms were a available for those that wanted to try on clothing, they were not. So no bathrooms and no fitting rooms. We decided we had had enough, so we took the few items we had on hand and decided to check out. That itself was another fiasco. We lined up, about a 20 minute wait with three cashiers available. We were up next with the speaker asking us to go to register #4, so we did. There was another customer being helped so we just stepped aside and waited at register #5 until she was ready for us. The lady that was leisurely folding clothes at the back of the registers angrily looked at us and asked us what we were doing. We told her and she said "this is NOT register #4, this is register #5!" Then she counted each register out loud in a slow and condescending tone for all to hear. We were finally helped. Shoes didn't have a barcode and they failed to remove the sensors. We were done. If you do come here, make sure you use the restroom before you arrive, baby and toddler's diapers are dry, you know your size exactly in clothes unless you want to take another trip out to return, and you have extra patience for the staff. One star for the long line and only 2 cashiers, and poor attitude. I asked the cashier to see if they can ask for help (there was a young mom with twins and a toddler and only buying a pair of shoes, so I felt bad we had been waiting for 10 minutes already) they said they didn't have a walkie talkie to radio someone. I told her I don't mind to ask, she directed me to the entrance were there is a greeter. There were 2 additional employees talking to the greeter and didn't seem to mind the long line there was. I asked if someone can help and Monica said sure. She seemed bothered. I mean to be honest I don't understand that attitude of being bothered. It's your job, it's something to be grateful for. She helped the young mom and then turned of her #4 light to help the other cashier with a transaction #3 (that had been going on for 15 min. Now) Like serious turned the light off ? I just spent about an hour shopping here, it's actually where I do most of my clothes shopping since the clothes are generally good brands or at least they're known brands. The prices are absolutely reasonable and if you're looking for the larger sizes, this is certainly where you will find everything needed except for 4x underwear. So after my impatient ass saw that the checkout line was almost half way through the store, i got discouraged and almost threw in the towel and abandoned the cart full of shit. But I mustered enough to bravely take my spot at the end. I was just thinking at any moment I would give up but it moved and then it moved again it was moving faster than I ever seen it before, after maybe literally 10 minutes I was at the front of the line where I noticed they actually added 3 additional make shift registers and every register was open and it didn't take anywhere near the time I thought it would. 10-15 minutes with at least 30 people in front of me. The checker was new and was being trained but she was sharp as a tack and quick quick quick. All with a genuine smile and friendly attitude. All this while under re-modeling construction You guys are doing very good and all the new checkers are on point. Good job everybody. Whoever hired you chose well. read more

The big and tall clothing selection was better compared to the location on Bristol Street, but they do not carry a lot of larger shoes (my husband wears a size 15). It was slightly in disarray which bothered me, but I was completely appalled by the condition of the restroom. This is where my boot search started, since it was on my home. When I drove up, it seemed as if the store had shut down. The side entrance is blacked out. So I drove to the front and it still looked closed. The lighting is pretty awful. I had to look up the store hours to make sure it was open. The first impression that you get is the odd feeling that it's a thrift store. I hadn't been into this location in a while. The store wasn't so shabby then. There's a makeup section by the entrance. It is more or less just a few beat up display stands covered in spilled makeup and old piled up nail polish smears. I only found a few remnants of gross looking makeup. The shoe section was pretty organized. It needs more variety. I went upstairs to see the baby section. The whole area is just cluttered and unorganized. There were display carts and random car seats in the middle of the aisles. The majority of what was on the carts, would have been better off as donations to thrift stores. If you come down to trying to bargain sell what looks like worn undergarments, just let it go! I just wanted to abandon ship after entering the ladies room. My bladder almost refused to cooperate. That's the gross condition the bathroom is in. There is dirty toilet paper all over the floors and the ground was wet. The aid dryers don't work. I was going to tell an employee to send someone to do a cleanup on isle ladies room. No a single employee was in sight, no one greeted me or even acknowledged my existence! I came here 3 times, and 3 times... the check out experience is horrible. It may be helpful to have one line and a buzzer to let customer know which cashier is ready instead of everyone jumping in front of another. I always came across the same group of staff just hanging out behind the counter at the exchange/layaway/return counter doing really nothing. I too have a business but I sure won't have the employee just hanging behind the counter if there's a long line and 2 cashiers working. The parking is horrible. If it's not horrible... there's carts and trash everywhere. I know where in Garbage Grove but please, people, don't trash the lot. Unless you have a 30 minutes to blow waiting at the checkout line, I suggest you only come when you've got a good block of time to shop and then wait to pay for the treasures you find. Every single time I've checked out at this location something or another happens where it really takes approximately 30 minutes for me to check out (be it long lines, someone in front of me wants to use a coupon but the cashier isn't sure how to ring it up, a person wants to use a check but it bounced but they want to use their debit card but obviously that wont go through either, etc... - you get the gist) I have to say that I have found some great bargains at this location and was impressed with the coupons they gave for their grand-opening but I won't be back for anything specific, I much rather prefer a Kohls because it's much more structured or a Ross where they have great designer brand treasures. read more

This used to be Mervyn's and I deeply mourned the loss of one of my favorite stores. I was skeptical when I saw that Burlington was going to replace Mervyn's because I thought that all they sold were coats. That's not true. I found out that Burlington Coat Factory is a more organized and a slightly more upscale version of Ross and TJMaxx. This particular branch is very organized and the prices are impressive. I got me some ear warmers for a bargain $6 that retail for $30. Everytime I come here I've never had a problem with their checkout. The parking lot is very substantial so there's almost never any problems there. A few restaurants around in the same complex (most notably Pho Nam Dinh) so after you've shopped till you dropped you can go get a bite to eat without moving your car. read more

Maybe I should have taken note when I saw the sign outside just says "Burlington" instead of "Burlington Coat Factory" because there were NO COATS. NO. COATS. No coats at the Burlington COAT Factory. What gives?! I get that it's pretty sunny and warm 90% of the time out here, but don't people still need coats anyways? I went up to the second floor and did a complete circle following the "Coats" sign on the ceiling only to have to flag down an employee and ask - she said there weren't any out right now. How?? What alternate universe is this?! Anyways, strange lack of coats aside, this place is pretty wild with its multi-floor-escalator-stuff. I felt like a small town hick perusing through here ("Wow, an escalator in a Burlington Coat Factory store!!!") but despite all its appearances, I found the selection to be very lacking (and the dressing rooms cramped, poorly lit, and a bit dirty). The clothing department was pretty lackluster, and I felt like there was twice as much at the single-story-non-swanky-location near my own home. It doesn't help too that everything was a mess.
