Burlington needs to take better care of their employees. This location has been without air conditioning for YEARS now. It's barely tolerable for those of us shopping there, but at least we can escape the building. The employees are stuck there. It's even worse on the second floor, there are times when I've been there where the upstairs was so unbearably hot it's a wonder that the staff weren't all passed out on the floor. The bathrooms are always filthy and smell awful. There's rarely any paper towels and they've done away with all toilet seat liners. The elevator is full of graffiti and dirt. Not to mention it stinks too. It's obvious from how poorly maintained this place is that Burlington doesn't care one bit about their employees. They could all die from black mold and heat stroke and they'd just shove their corpse off to the side and bring in more people to slowly torture to death. Do better by your employees, Burlington. Fix the AC and get this dump cleaned up!

    Long line!

One star for the long line and only 2 cashiers, and poor attitude. I asked the cashier to see if they can ask for help (there was a young mom with twins and a toddler and only buying a pair of shoes, so I felt bad we had been waiting for 10 minutes already) they said they didn't have a walkie talkie to radio someone. I told her I don't mind to ask, she directed me to the entrance were there is a greeter. There were 2 additional employees talking to the greeter and didn't seem to mind the long line there was. I asked if someone can help and Monica said sure. She seemed bothered. I mean to be honest I don't understand that attitude of being bothered. It's your job, it's something to be grateful for. She helped the young mom and then turned of her #4 light to help the other cashier with a transaction #3 (that had been going on for 15 min. Now) Like serious turned the light off ? It's the "I don't care attitude" for me Some People have lost there common courtesy these days.

20 minute wait just to checkout. Really ridiculous especially when there were loads of employees just walking around doing nothing.

To keep the line moving 2 additional makeshift cashier stations

I just spent about an hour shopping here, it's actually where I do most of my clothes shopping since the clothes are generally good brands or at least they're known brands. The prices are absolutely reasonable and if you're looking for the larger sizes, this is certainly where you will find everything needed except for 4x underwear. So after my impatient ass saw that the checkout line was almost half way through the store, i got discouraged and almost threw in the towel and abandoned the cart full of shit. But I mustered enough to bravely take my spot at the end. I was just thinking at any moment I would give up but it moved and then it moved again it was moving faster than I ever seen it before, after maybe literally 10 minutes I was at the front of the line where I noticed they actually added 3 additional make shift registers and every register was open and it didn't take anywhere near the time I thought it would. 10-15 minutes with at least 30 people in front of me. The checker was new and was being trained but she was sharp as a tack and quick quick quick. All with a genuine smile and friendly attitude. All this while under re-modeling construction You guys are doing very good and all the new checkers are on point. Good job everybody. Whoever hired you chose well.

I was skeptical when I saw that Burlington was going to replace Mervyn's because I thought that all they sold were coats.

Some aisles are well-stocked, while others look picked over, so it can be frustrating if you're in a hurry. On the plus side, the prices are hard to beat, and you can occasionally find some solid deals if you're willing to dig. The staff is okay--polite enough, but you can't always count on getting much help when the store is busy. Overall, Ross is fine if you're hunting for a bargain and don't mind the effort, but it's not the most consistent shopping experience. Three stars because it's average: some wins, some misses.

My purse could barely fit my phone, I'm not sure what he thought I would attempt to steal? But I wasn't the only one I noticed he was following. I felt like I was being profiled, but given I saw him act this way towards multiple guests, I can't get too personally offended. That definitely played a role in how short my trip was, though. Other than that, the selections were good, prices were good as always. This is why we come to Ross, nothing new. Cashier wasn't rude, but wasn't nice. Clearly has no customer service skills. She rushed through my purchase and called the next guest over before I had even finished my payment method. They were stood right behind me waiting as I was still typing in my pin. That was a little uncomfortable, and in my opinion, a display of bad customer service. I felt like she was trying to throw me out of the store as soon as possible. It probably didn't help that she said "I don't want to be here anymore" about 5 times during my 4 minute checkout. I know a few people that are struggling with finding places willing to hire. They would absolutely love to take a shot at her job if she wants to quit! Finally, my final experience that actually pushed me to write a review, my security tag was left on one of my items. Had the cashier not been in such a rush to get me out, she might have noticed it before shoving my items into the bag. On top of that, this store has a loss prevention security guard at the exit of the store to check your receipt and items. Clearly neither of these employees take their jobs seriously. Now I am going to have to find time to come back to this location and have the tag removed. I think it's ridiculous that Ross sets up TWO chances for employees to ensure proper customer service at the end of the visit and BOTH of them missed. This is also not the first time this has happened at this location to me, just the final straw that finally pushed me to review. They have a fantastic location with great customer service over at 3900 S Bristol St Santa Ana, CA 92704 I would recommend this one over the garden grove location any day!

We were nearby for dinner and meandered around inside while we were waiting for the rest of our party. I was really surprised as to how clean the entire store was and filled with well organized shelves. There was such a large variety of items that I never knew existed. If I was in the area and had more time, I'd love to check out everything in the store. It looks like they have a variety of items that are individually priced. There are pricing guides posted throughout the aisles. Unmarked items are $2.25 as of June 2026. The last time I recall, prices were $1.75 per item, but that was a long time ago.

My wife and I have found their product quality to be very good (definitely better than US Dollar Stores), albeit at quite a bit more expensive prices: now at $2.25 for their lowest priced items. The words 'Quality', 'Value', 'Uniqueness', 'Variety', 'Quality' (repeated) seems to be their mantra. It's similar to World Market's slogan: "Unique, authentic, and always affordable". The store was well stocked and we found quite a few things we needed. Most products sold here are Daiso specific items, so prices are either pre-labeled by the manufacturer (in Japanese Yen) or assumed to be $2.25 if unmarked. There are self-checkout lines along with one cashier keeping things moving.

We had kids aged 1-6 and they all loved running around here. The bathrooms are clean, there's a changing table, and there's someone keeping the areas clean and tidy even in the evenings. The only thing I'd improve is that many of the open eating areas don't have good visibility of the play areas, especially after dark. It would be nice to have more seating closer to the play areas. Another idea is to switch the location of the sandbox with one of the teepees, since kids seem to congregate there but the view is blocked unless you're sitting in the teepees. It would also be great if the view from the long tables on the deck near the teepees and sandbox wasn't obscured by bushes. Finally, it would feel safer to have the overall area fully gated instead of an open entrance where kids could potentially slip out. Excited for how this will continue to grow and benefit the community!

One started putting out their trash cans and spaced them out so cars can't park. My uncle ended up parking a block away even though they have a handicap placard. Inside is really nice, there's areas with just dirt so be careful if it's windy and if you have little ones who happen to like playing with dirt or sand. They have a separate section for sand playing near the restrooms. Plenty of seating areas around the playground, ranging from 2 seaters to 6 (or 8 if small enough and grab extra chairs). They have very cute camping decorations like tents and fire pits, so it feels like there's a theme, the bus was an outlier but kids liked exploring it. There's a community garden and I saw someone inside tending to their plants. Very nice. Many of the shops are not open yet when I was there but hope to see them open soon!
