Whenever we can, we like to visit Las Vegas the week after Christmas. The last two years, my daughter and I did our day after Christmas shopping in Vegas. This Burlington may not be very clean, is not in a great area and has a security guard at the front door. But if you are looking for day after Christmas specials, this is a great place to go! Both years that we did this, we ended up needing large carry-on bags to take home all of our items! This got to be the worst store I've ever been at in Las Vegas, made my visit bad do to lack of employees. First of all because when I needed help and ask one of the employees they said they couldn't help due to the fact that they had to run the cashiers. Also kinda crazy that there was only one cashier at 8 pm when they close at 11 pm so I wonder who does these schedules and why would there only be 1 cashier from 8pm-11pm. Came on the suggestion that I look for a great price to find dress shirts. After looking they didn't really have anything. I found looking at different items that items were all over the place and some area looked like the aftermath of a hurricane. Clothes on floor. Inside its not inviting, basically clothes and items in a warehouse feel. I did give a extra star it looked like they had good deals on nice looking shoes. This place is big and nice the only thing is that you wait in line for so long, there is 10-15 ppl in-line when there is two cashier and it take them an average of 3-5 minutes a person, you do the meth. Not to mention that they take 2-4 minutes between each customer to talk on the phone and put things back, the other workers seem like they just wonder around aimlessly, many times I just left without buying anything because the line was way to long and slow. Today When I checked out I was asked if I have a phone number with them and I do so they punched it in, I didn't get any discount and they asked me if I want to donate, I was joking and I said "I thought I'm gonna get a discount and you want me to pay extra, no thank you" it was all a joke. The woman thought I got angry but I wasn't and I also told her that, she said oh really i thought you are angry, I explained her it's my accent and she told me maybe you shouldn't talk so loud! I was; are you serious??? it's my accent. I got so offended! that was so racist of her when I wasn't even loud or anything like that. So rude! To think I stood in line for 25 Minutes for this. I ran in to pick up 2 items and when I got to the line there were about 15 people in front of me and 20 people behind me and only 2 cashiers and yet other employees were working in the store and could have been checking people out with such a long line. This Burlington Coat Factory has lots and lots of options to choose from and at very reasonable prices. The lines can get very long, however. Thai last visit I made to this location had me stuck in a line for nearly 30 minutes. Also, the staff aren't necessarily the friendliest, but at least they're not rude. For the price and numerous good finds, I'll definitely be visiting again! read more

No Social Distancing! As we're standing in line there's a family of 4 that are practically touching us. I asked them multiple times to maintain a 6 foot distance. When we asked security to step in, he said they're not enforcing the 6 foot rule so as to not cause arguments. And then he told me that I don't need to stand in line. Oh Ok so good to know! Security stands at the door and requires a mask but refuses to enforce the Governor's mandate. I'm usually not that upset about it, but we have a one year old child with us. Which should also just be common decency to keep a distance from a child that is unable to wear a mask. read more

You just never know what you'll find. One visit, you may get lucky and find a few deals, and on another visit, you may leave empty handed. This location is pretty well kept like the other location in Henderson. The location on Sahara is almost always a pig sty though, IMO. One of my favorite areas to shop is in the Housewares area scoping out stuff to add to our kitchen and on this visit, I came across a copper mug which I've always wanted to get for some Moscow Mules, and $9.99 is a steal because you can't even get them this cheap online! After searching high and low, front to back on every aisle in housewares, I came across an identical copper mug and some sphere ice cube molds at only $7.99. I left the last two times because of the line. I had to get my son a coat and couldn't find one his size anywhere, so I begrudgingly came here. First, I could only find one that got him. Only a few jackets/coats in Men's section, size medium. They had no young men's jackets. Most of the jackets were wind breakers. It is Burlington COAT factory! It's January, I really think they should have some jackets/coats. But, what really gets me, is waiting in line for 25 minutes, because they have only two cashiers and they are doing price checks. Let me start off by saying I love this store like I love burgers and fries! I come to this location all the time to buy some little nick nack. There's always something to find here. I remember shopping here way back in 2005 and dropping several hundred dollars on some framed portraits. Whenever I want something of good quality and at a bargain it either here or that TJ place. With that being read (said) I have a funny story from last night when I went shopping for guess what...more portraits! Normally when I go shopping I go with my better half and that normally guarantees that I won't get followed or being a prime suspect. Last night was a different story....I went by myself and I was fair game. I needed portraits for the shop so I headed straight back to the area. Now the photos I was looking for were super sized or rather large and they we all Marilyn Monroe. Out of the 5 I looked at 4 of them had noticeable cracks in the frame. As I'm contemplating whether or not to buy it I notice this guy to my right ducking in and out of the isle just randomly touching thing. Then to my left I notice another random guy doing the same thing. So I think...what are the odds of three little big guys in the home decor section of burlingtons at the same time about 5 feet from one another. So I decided to have a little fun with one of the undercover security guys and say to him you guys don't even try to hide it anymore do you. I did assets protection in the past and I know that they aren't really allowed to say anything back for fear of lawsuits. The guys split their separate ways. I'm thinking to myself.....really!?...I'm looking at Marilyn Monroe 5 foot portraits and your swarming over me like the presidential detail. I decided this was just bs and decided to leave but as I was leaving I was like wait....I still need some damn portraits. So I go to a different section where some other artwork was and low and behold theres one of the security guys there! So I went and stood right by him and start touching random photos. The other guy pops around the corner and he has this look on his face like oh this guy might actually buy something lol. They whisper something to each other and they leave the section never to be seen again. Long story even longer I ended up buying 72 dollars worth of photos and some armor all glass auto cleaner for 2.99! Couldn't pass that up right!! It's 3.99 in other places. I'm not sure why this location has such low ratings. I came in yesterday to do some shopping for a family member and found a great variety of dress pants and jeans in size 6. This locations seems to have a large selection of sweaters, blouses and denim. I was surprised at how much merchandise they packed into each rack. It was almost overwhelming, but I guess it makes sense to have tons of merchandise since Christmas is around the corner. I bought about 8 pairs of jeans and trousers for about $120, which I thought was a great deal. I am writing this complaint in the hope, that somebody at Burlington Coat Factory management will read this. I had a most unpleasant experience at this Burlington Coat Factory store on 11/3/2021 in the late afternoon. Having recently moved from San Francisco to Las Vegas, I expected the same courtesy from its employees as at the Burlington coat Factory store in San Francisco. After having done an extensive shopping at this store on Tropicana/Eastern in Las Vegas, and about to leave with my loaded shopping cart to go to my car in the parking lot, I was rudely yelled at by an employee of Burlington, that I cannot take the cart out of the store. I am an older small person and was forced to carry two very heavy bags to my car and lift them in the trunk which caused my shoulders to be very sore and in pain today. Now Las Vegas is not a big city where you can come with your own personal shopping cart in tow without rousing suspicions and leave your shopping with your own cart. If you have a rule that people cannot take your shopping cart to their car because the carts get stolen, then you should have somebody pick up those carts from the parking lot, as they do in all other stores. Maybe you should put that rude person who yelled at me to do some work, instead of standing idly around and being unpolite. I understand that there are some bad neighborhoods in this area, but not all people live in those neighborhoods that shop at that Burlington Coat Factory store and like to be treated politely. Number One, when you go in, the music is so loud and it is Spanish music and the announcements are in Spanish. I am so sorry, but I am in the United States and I do not care to hear loud music of any kind! I felt like I was in a different world. Everything is on the floor, the aisles are so narrow you could barely get through, many people in the store so most likely past capacity. But in this situation there was a customer with NO MASK. **VERY BAD EXPERIENCE @ BURLINGTON** My boyfriend and I were shopping at the Craig location today when we were falsely accused of shoplifting. I had tried on a bunch of dresses, chose three that I wanted, and walked over to wait outside the men's dressing room so my boyfriend could show me the jeans he was thinking of buying. The loss prevention guard "Darren" follows him in. Before my boyfriend gets to the door where I can see him, the guard tells him to go back and change into his things and get out of the store. My boyfriend responds, "Do you work here? I'm trying to show my girlfriend who is right outside the door. My phone and wallet are still inside the dressing room, I'm obviously not trying to walk out with these and leave my stuff." He tells him he doesn't care and keeps repeating to my boyfriend that he needs to leave. My boyfriend goes back and changes; they both walk outside and see me standing there. I ask what happened and the man tells me "drop the clothes and get out." I'm completely taken aback. My boyfriend tells me he's been wrongly accused of stealing. I ask if I can purchase the clothes I was waiting to buy and he repeats "drop the clothes and get out." He continues to follow us, loudly saying "get out and don't come back" in front of the entire store. It was very, very embarrassing. He was extremely rude the entire time, not listening to either of us, not letting us talk to a manager, and obviously not trying to follow any logic or obvious characteristics of shop lifters, aside from racial stereotypes and bias, considering my boyfriend is darker skinned with long hair. Why would my boyfriend run out of the store with $10 jeans and leave his entire wallet w/ ID, cash, cards, and even a GIFT CARD for Burlington Coat Factory? I called the manager from outside the store and reported these grievances as to not cause a further scene. I asked him to check the cameras. He just said "okay I'll tell the DM, bye." No apology or ounce of humanity. I regret not standing my ground inside the store. Then potentially the police would've been called and gone over the facts/footage/logic like an intelligent human being would've done, not like some bored storefront security guard who seems to be waiting to pounce on any person he subjectively deems suspicious based on his own bias instead of fact. It is very dangerous to have a store security guard who maintains this kind of mindset. To sum it up, I know there's not much to be done here aside from contacting corporate. So I wanted to write a review letting the community know this place felt HIGHLY UNSAFE and I have never been treated with such disrespect. They had good clothes at decent prices if you don't mind running the risk of being falsely accused, treated as less than human, and embarrassed in front of an entire store. I like alot of things about Burlington (specially the clearance racks) But thing that really stood out was how messy the dressing room was. OMG, I should have taken a picture of it. I came here during lunch to peruse the aisles. I didn't need anything in particular so I just wandered the aisles a bit. This place is not the place to come when you're just in the mood to browse. I usually Burlington for the most part, but this location had very limited inventory. I browsed through some shoe racks and there was barely anything to choose from, unlike other locations in town. As I was looking at some shoes an employee was rushing down the aisle and said "excuse me," I moved out of her way thinking she wanted to get by me but she instead settled in right behind me to organize a shelf. I have no problem with employees doing their jobs, but honestly she was bumping up against me while I was shopping and I finally had to move to get away from her. Couldn't she have waited a few minutes until I was done in the area to do that? Rude. The store was a total mess so there were clearly plenty of other shelves she could have arranged while I was in that area. That incident definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and I just wanted to leave immediately. I purchased a knit shirt and when I got home I discovered it had a hole from where they attached the tags. I took it back, asking for a price adjustment and was told NO, that it was my fault for not noticing before I bought it. I wanted the shirt, so I will spend the next hour recutting and sewing the damaged area. For a 10 or 15% adjustment, they would have had a happy customer.
