There are a lot of collectible and toy stores, including a Mini so. If you know somebody who loves anime and Funko pops, you'll definitely find a gift here. There is an Ulta here, but it is a very small kind of weird Alta. The perfume section is very small. This would not be my first choice to go to Ulta. The food court has some good choices with a Sarko Japan, Wetzel's Pretzels, and Sbarro, but we noticed some of the food places are gone, too, like Charlie's Steakery. I didn't notice whether the carousel was running while we were there. This is a relatively small mall and we were able to walk from one end to the other on bottom and top floors. If you like sporting goods, the Dick's sporting goods outlet is here. Macy's has closed, sadly, but they're still at Dillard's and JCPenney here. It has some of the standard mall stores like Hot Topic, Bath & Body Works, Torrid, Buckle, and Charlotte Russe. The line for Santa was quite long. There were children dressed up and families with matching pajamas. I was glad to see Santa getting so much business, especially because the photos are so expensive. It was a little sad, though, because even though it's the weekend before christmas, there was absolutely no Christmas music to make you feel the holiday spirit, or the shopping spirit. I couldn't help but feel a little sad because malls are a part of my growing up. Now it seems as though most malls are on their way out, and superstition is definitely among them. I hope it's around for a long while yet, but I'm guessing it's years or limited.

Buyer beware. On Wednesday 26th, November 2025 our daughter had two sets of piercings done by Sage…read moreat Banter/Piercing Pagoda at Superstition Mall. We arrived at 10:02am and was asked to go shopping for ten minutes as they hadn't set up yet. I should have listened to my gut and not gone back. We went back and 2 out of the four were incorrectly pierced on a downward angle and right/downward angle on both of her left side. Our daughter is too afraid to remove the helix piercing to have it redone but has removed the lobe piercing so it can heal to be redone correctly in a month. No manager reached out on that day or the day after Thanksgiving until I called to complain. Apparently protocol is to have an available manager reach out the same day. Sage had not told anyone until after I called. This is a very unprofessional outfit. Make sure you ask how long the "piercer" has pierced ears and ask if any issues with anyone prior. Sage told us after the fact she had done the same thing before on thtee other occasion's all on the left side. Our fault for not asking prior. It's definitely worth the drive to go to Chandler Mall, apparently there are two locations there. It's where we previously went where we had no issues. Unfortunately we live further away from that location. Learning curve for us is to do due diligence in future.

I received serval emails and texts to confirm the appointment, including one the morning of. I showed up to my appointment only to be told the piercer would not be in for another hour and a half. She casually shrugged off the appointment saying I could wait or come back another time but the piercer isn't usually in this early (12pm). Why make appointments for when they don't have a piercer?! She said I could come any time though because "they take walk-ins". But do they? Because they certainly wouldn't have been able to accommodate any walks in for the next hour and a half till their piercer came in. When I expressed my displeasure at them not showing up for an appointment she made it seem like it was a common issue. She seemed to not care in the slightest to have wasted my time. Before leaving I went to look at their jewelry to double check they had the ones online I found. They did, but the price changed from $50 online to $80 in stores. The employees response was "yeah, our website is old and needs to be updated." That was the nail in the coffin of potentially coming back. They won't have my service, not that I think they care at all. I will also strongly urge everyone I know to not even contemplate going there. Very poor business and lack or service. Waste of time.
