I can objectively write that Burlo gymnastics has offered a fantastic environment for my daughter and she is experiencing A++care and instruction towards her personal goals . Professionalism- from the moment you arrive there is an attentive person whom gives you a packet with guided information as to expectations and prices . There is also an on-site vendor of the equipment if you need immediate replacement. Experience- their coaches all have excellent knowledge of the sport, and are themselves accomplished athletes whom are well versed in this sport. Class is carried out with integrity and respect for the athletes, while also maintaining a high level of instruction. Responsible - from the moment you drop off your child you know that your child is their priority and that any shenanigans won't be tolerated, modeling proper behavior in and outside the gym. Facilities - Clean / organized / and in these times health protocols are followed (masks) . Environment- Positive and nurturing, all with the objective of meeting individual goals and elevating skills in this sport. Communication - parent informational meetings, equipment, music, routines all discussed and ready for the next season. In addition, competition practice times and travel are done with clear guidance and dialogue. We are new to the San Fernando Valley and I wanted to look at gymnastic and dance studios for our daughter. My instincts were right after looking at these one-star reviews as when I called the rudest woman answered the phone and would not even address my simple inquiries. That is when I knew that this is not the place for me to bring my daughter because behavior like that, even over the phone, is not going to work and I would not feel comfortable leaving my daughter there. They need to train their employees, whoever they are, to be more gracious on the phone to potential clients ! read more

Golden state cup is a great competition. My Daughters compete at golden state cup every year and it is always the best competitions. Always organized, on time, Extremely clean and Very professional. Polite and accommodate. Its shame to see when parents do not appreciate the hard work it takes to facilitate a successful 3 day competition. California may have many rhythmic gymnastics clubs to choose from, but these gyms are not inclusive in which that there are other activities that the gym provides such as volleyball and basketball. The right connection between the coaches and the athlete is fundamentally important. As a parent, I would add to it that a safe and healthy environment should also be the key determinants in choosing the right club. Burlo Gymnastics coaches are Olympians themselves and they truly strive to instill a sense of discipline, teamwork, and determination to all athletes. Very disappointed, frustrated after 1,5 years being there we end up ,by mental and physical abused for my 11 year old girl!!! Ballet teacher 1 day decided that she can scream and insults my child in front of all the kids and parents, i was watching all this thru whole class, than she thought its not enought she grab my child thru her hand and throw her away from gym, i really wanted to call police and put her to very very not good position, but decided that God see everything and he will took her licence, this monster cant be next to any children's read more

Very disappointed with this place. It's the second year my daughter has had a gymnastic compition here and it is by far the most disorganzied program with very rude owners. The initial schedule sent was completely different than what actually took place, the owners were hollering at audience and very rude and to top it all off they never called the name of a girl who got second place. When they were informed of the mistake, they ignored it until the very end. The girl who worked so hard and got second place never got to stand on the podium. read more

Can't run a competition. They left a little girl heartbroken when they left her completely off the award list when she had come in at least 2nd and would not add her on after they were informed. The organisers were extremely rude and mostly just hollered at the audience. For the amount of money that they charge they have barely any seats, no programs, and no microphones. read more

Our family is so happy we found this gym. Coaches are very professional, kind and strict at the same time. Our daughter found many friends here, learnt discipline and healthy habits. Burlo rhythmic gymnastics is the place you want your girls to be trained at. Not only because two of the gym's main coaches are decorated Olympians from Belarusian National Team and the gym is also a home for one of the members of the National Team, but because Burlo gym pays the individual attention to each girl. Everybody at this gym is given a fair chance to become a champion if they are willing to work hard. There is no favoritism whatsoever! Each girl is treated with respect and each girl is believed in and encouraged to do well. Our head coach Jenya Burlo is also one of the International Judges. She is very passionate person, who is not only the great coach and talented choreographer, but she is also the amazing mentor who leads girls in the beautiful rhythmic gymnastics word and teaches them by example to be gorgeous not only on the carpet but in the real live. Both our main coaches Jenya and Nastya take care of girls as they were their own children: fix their costumes, decorate their apparatuses, glue stones on their leos late at night, listen to their problems. They protect our girls, stand up for them, love and understand them. They throw pool parties for girls at their house, give them birthday and Christmas presents, take them to the beach during Summer Camp, play games with them and dance with them. At the same time, they are professional, strong and VERY demanding coaches who know when to play and when to work really hard! The great attention is paid to all the aspects of gymnastics up to little tiny details. Burlo Gym successfully maintains the best traditions of Belarusian gymnastics: one of the world strongest gymnastics school.
