Excellent bbq and slaw. Sandwiches had enough bbq for 2 and it was sooo tender and tasty. We will definitely be back. Pulled pork BBQ was $10 a pound!!! So good we ot some to go. Can't wait to come back!!!

The 2 meat combo, wish I had just tried the ribs. The sides are ok, nothing special

Horrible bbq. Never had South Carolina bbq before being from Oklahoma but I have to assume it's not usually this tough and fatty. The Carolina Gold sauce was good. Not going to miss this place.

2 times in 2 days and I'm an hour away!! Great stop on the easy to or from Table rock or Jones Gap state parks. Don't blink or you will miss it. I had big burly sandwich tried all the sauces and they rock. Okra and slaw are home made and mouthwatering!

My unofficial search for the best BBQ in SC stumbled across Burly Bill's on the way back thru Marietta and TR towards Greenville. It's a trailer (with a faded Yelp decal!), usually open only Fri-Sat-Sun, and the only seating is outside under a tent. But, "To Go" is the way to go, anyway. Lots of folks do pulled pork, very few do good Brisket. NONE I have tasted in SC do it any better than Burly Bill's. $17 a pound, and it was even on special for $15 for Memorial Day. This stop belongs on your BBQ bucket list! Make sure you ask for the Memphis homemade sauce.

Came across this BBQ stop while driving from Charlotte, NC to Clayton, GA and it did NOT disappoint. It was hands down the best BBQ we experienced while down south. The pulled pork and brisket was tender and full of flavor. The baked beans weren't too sweet and had a smokiness that really made them unique. Wish we lived by so we could swing by anytime!

Searched Yelp for good BBQ in the upstate. Wasn't sure how barbecue would be from a food truck/trailer, but was pleasantly surprised. Had the pulled pork sandwich platter with baked beans and fried okra. The pork was chunky (in a good way), the hot sauce that I chose wasn't particularly hot, but was tasty nonetheless. Sides were good as well. My partner is a vegetarian and surprisingly there were vegetarian options, as the sides don't have meat in them and are not fried in the same oil with meet. Bill is a nice fellow and we ate at the covered picnic tables out front. Overall the food quality was very good, and the experience very pleasurable. Would definitely recommend this place if your looking for good barbecue in a casual setting.

    Even our dogs loved it

Being vegetarian and eating at a BBQ place is normally an oxymoron, but this place had plenty for me to eat. Only place in South Carolina that I can eat fried food that hasn't been fried in the same oil as meat. The fried okra was great and not greasy or over battered.

I got a bbq sandwich. SO GROSS! The meat was well over half just greasy fat. "Barbequed" beans and coleslaw were not good either.

Mini donuts, shaved ice, drinks, coffee, wings, hotdogs, smash burgers, and chicken sandwiches just to name a few of their items. Next door to the food truck is Rory Jr.'s Pizza, that's sold by the slice or a whole pizza. Their mini donuts are " hot now", and sold by the dozen with sixteen different flavors, as well as plain. The donut flavors can be mixed two flavors per dozen. For my order today I got a chili dog with fries, strawberry glazed and the honey bun glazed donuts. Once you place your order there's out door shaded seating or you can get back in your vehicle and your order is brought out to you. The chili dog with home made chili was good, and those fries were hot, crispy and seasoned just right! Those " hot now " donuts are the bomb, especially the honeybun glazed. They are soft and chewy with a little crispness on the outside and that cinnamon sugar glaze, " y'all"..." don't make no sense"!!!! The couple is so nice and friendly that run this business, Rory even walked out as we were leaving to give us a wave. On my next visit I would like to try a pizza. If you haven't tried Rory's Mini Donuts and More make a special trip and try them out, I'm sure that you will find something that will become a favorite. Rory good luck and continued success in all that you do.

I've attended food truck festivals in other cities but this was my first here in Asheville. There were roughly 15 trucks serving up a variety of styles. I went with some friends and my husband and I think between the 4 of us we sampled something from at least 8 of the trucks. I was a big fan of the Farm to Fender truck, and the Peruvian truck.. It wasn't as packed as I was expecting. The lines ebbed and flowed so I never really had to wait too long to order, I just did it in an intelligent order I suppose. We never did manage to snag seats, but that didn't ruin anything in my mind. My two gripes would be: 1. having to buy a wrist band to order adult beverages and not realizing there would only be beer and hard liquor (well, mixed drinks). I guess that's my fault for not asking what was there, but that was a waste of $3 for me. I just wanted a cider. 2. Having to pay to vote for my favorite food truck. I get that this event costs money to put on, but I don't know, I just plain didn't vote because I had bought a useless wrist band to drink. Just my two cents. I totally enjoyed myself and all the wonderful food and can't wait for it to happen again!

A truck with music, a bouncy castle for kids and also a couple clothing trucks and you are all set for a great afternoon! We showed up pretty late, around 6 pm but the place was still going strong. Very lovely were the tables all around with fresh flowers on them to sit and enjoy food from different trucks. Tacos, Burgers, BBQ, Farm to Table, Sandwiches, Peruvian... Probably more but I don't remember all. At this time a couple of them were already sold out of some dishes but the boards were easy enough to navigate around the sold out items and plenty of food was still available . We got some special fries from the Peruvian truck that came with garlic sauce and herbs , unfortunately I can't remember their name, they were crunchy and honestly amazing, 5 bucks for a big portion. We also got vegetarian tacos and beans and rice the truck offered different protein options, one of them being queso frito, a sort of grilled cheese that I really liked. Then we tried the fried green tomatoes from the farm to table truck that came with a dip and were breaded with some coarse stuff that was great. Too bad there was no beer or cider, I also missed some dessert options or coffee , cookies? Sweets?? Also the YELP wheel was nowhere to be found although I got a free turn as a special offer... I ll be back next year for sure!

We had passed it so many times and always wanted to stop in. We finally got to today and it was so much nicer and bigger inside than we had imagined! Very cute inside, the way they decorated, with nice wooden tables. Their food menu is bigger than I expected, and they make it from scratch. They have many sandwiches (even a Cuban, or carnitas! Impressive!), beef hot dog plates and toppings, BBQ, sides, wraps, soups and stews, a baked goods station, ice cream station, coffee station, and a gift shop connected next door. The man running the place-- I assume the owner of this family spot-- was so nice and cheery! He was so helpful and told us about the food he had. The younger girl working with him was nice too. You walk up to the counter and order, get your food and sit down, then pay when you leave. It was busy and seemed like the place to be! Our food was great! My son and I each got the 1 hot dog plate which comes w a choice of side. (They have 2 hot dog plates also). Many sides to choose from like roasted cabbage, Mac n cheese, slaw, collard greens, soup, chips, and many others. I topped my dog with ketchup, his mustard bbq sauce (so good!), sauerkraut, and cheese. Delicious! I tried the spicy vinegar slaw- delicious! My son loved his and the Mac n cheese too. My SO got the brisket sandwich w the mustard BBQ sauce (3 bbq sauces to choose from) and said it was delicious. I saw someone w the New Brunswick stew and it looked very good. All very affordable and good sized portions. The gift shop was cute too, w many locally made items, candies, candles, blankets, wreaths, honey, elderberry, mugs, toys, soaps, chapstick, etc. We will definitely be back to try more things, the next time we head to the mountains or on a hike. Worth the stop!
