Great little shop in the mountains! We stopped in for some freshly made boiled peanuts, and were warmly greeted by Marci herself, who served us and welcomed us. This shop is everything you would hope for from a mountain shop, and the peanuts were delicious!

    Prices are all under $10

Wow, what a gem in the mountains. As we were coming into the area to pick up our child from summer camp, we saw this place. What got our attention were the big signs saying "we're open" and the banner flags. At the corner of Highway 276 and Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway/11, you will find the most quaint cottage chic little restaurant and gift shop you've seen in a while. This place looks to have been professionally decorated on the inside. Don't let the exterior fool you. This place is nondescript and rather bland, frankly, on the outside. It is connected to a vegetable and fruit stand. This building used to the town's old general store back in the '60s. The vegetable stand/building I understand was the town's post office. The restoration the owners have done to the general store is simply magnificent. Inside, you will find rustic brick and distressed wood walls, with a country cottage-chic atmosphere. They sell various gifts - wreaths for doors, wood frames with lovely phrases painted on them, bath bombs, etc. This place is busy on the eyes - in a good way. They have an ice cream station, a bakery, a small menu of meal items, a peanut station, a coffee station. There's one long family-style table for eating and few two-seaters. It's a small place so you won't want to congregate long, unless there's not a lot of folks in. In which case, stroll around. You'll find plenty of pretty Instagram photo opportunities. We ordered the BBQ plate. I had red slaw and baked beans with mine. My husband had chips and vegetable salad with his. They make their own BBQ sauce - three kinds. The drinks you get as a bottle from a cold cooler, as opposed to a drink dispenser. That was a nice touch. You pay at the door as you leave. They said that all their food items are priced under a dollar. They've only been open a week. I sure hope the locals catch wind of this place and go support the family. They've worked long and hard for this dream. What a great experience it was for us. Nice folks, nice food, nice atmosphere. All in all, a great place to visit. P.S. Be sure to check out how they designed the bathroom. There's a really cool large bucket for a sink. :)

Stopped here after a full day at Rainbow Falls for ice cream!! Absolutely adorable inside with a great overall aesthetic. They have barbecue, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, hot dogs, ice cream, peanuts, soap, and cute decor!! Thanks for having us today :)

Everything about this place was absolutely exceptional. Starting with service! The woman that greeted us when we came in and took our order, is one of the sweetest ladies ever. I just kept telling my husband after each small interaction with her "oh my gosh I just love her". It's an incredibly warm and inviting space, and I wish we lived closer just to be able to experience that alone more often. But lord have mercy, the food? They knocked it out of the park!!! They have a huge menu with all sorts of stuff that you don't see super often. We got the Chicago dog, the BBQ burger, the sweet potato fries, onion rings, and a blackberry shake. Those sweet potato fries will have me dreaming about them until I can make my way back here. There's no amount of praise to do this place justice! All I can say is, if you haven't tried stopping by here for a meal, you absolutely need to!

I later added a vanilla shake which was another ten dollars. It was all good and the shake was fantastic but it was over $30 per person. For a hot dog shack! They literally have two $11 hot dogs...what? My daughter's Philly Cheese was a steak sandwich. Not thinly sliced steak but great honking chunks of steak. It was a tough sandwich to get down. Service was fast and friendly and the restaurant had a run down diner vibe. You could probably pare it down to $20 a person but that is still bonkers for sandwich and fries. I don't think we will be back but glad we tried it for sure!

Right by Fluor Field with a fun, lively vibe. We sat outside, which was clean, comfortable, and a great spot to hang out before an event. Service was fantastic. David, our server, was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable, and really helped elevate the experience. For food, we started with the wings (dry rub and Jamaican jerk). The flavors were decent, but the wings themselves were rubbery and a bit underwhelming, especially considering the price point. One standout though... the ranch dressing. Easily some of the best I've had. The breakfast tacos were good overall, and the chimichurri was fresh and flavorful. I think adding a creamy component would have taken them up another level. The sweet potato fries were fantastic. The chicken and biscuit was decent. The Nashville-style chicken had good flavor, but the tenders were on the smaller side, making the portion feel a bit lacking. The biscuit itself was solid. The tallow fries were also well done, and the Lefty's sauce was a nice addition. One unique touch at the end. You're given the option to send a postcard, and they handle the postage and mailing for you. A really fun and memorable detail. Overall, a good spot with great service and atmosphere, though some of the food execution and portion sizes could be improved.
