    Grace X.

I had black pepper tofu with rice ordered via a work lunch delivery service. The tofu was very very flavorful, good portion size for one meal. Nice vegan options.

Returning customer via doordash as a virtual brand (i've ordered here several times lol) This is a great place for authentic and affordable Burmese cuisine. Great portions and quality every time!

Great food! Ordered Catfish Curry and Coconut rice. Loved them both. I had earlier ordered the set lunch chicken. That was great too.

Finally got the chance to try Yaichi, the so called Bay Area Tsujihan for their massive seafood…read morerice bowls with ochazuke transformation and I have to say as someone who just came from asia and HAD Tsujihan, Yaichi is so much BETTER. Same quality but Bigger portions and better dashi, for about the same price? Sign me up. My girlfriend and I skated the potato salad appetizer - a delicious DIY experience that let you control the texture of your potato salad (though I feel I overmixed), and two take bowls which were MASSIVE - easily could have shared. The seafood was fresh, the portions generous, and maybe it's because I have a more Americanized palate, but the mixed seafood dashi was richer and paired much better than a mild seafood chazuke. Plus it came with shiso leaves and tempura crunchies so it was really no comparison. Overall this was a delicious meal that left me extremely full, unlike other seafood bowls that leave you just a little too hungry. Given the tastiness of their dashi, I'll def be back to try their udon. Also, as an added bonus, my dogs love the little dashi fish topper on their food they sell separately at the front. Love! --- Sweet: amazing dashi broth, delicious seafood bowls. Rare instance of a dinner living up to the hype Bitter: wish they had mini versions of their more deluxe bowls!!

Second time we ordered the steamed seafood basked in spicy soy. Shared a seafood noodle dish. It was a huge portion. It gets so busy there that they are well organized, gets you in and out. We came on Tuesday 6pm and there were plenty of tables available but they filled up quickly after we sat down. The banchan came out soon after we ordered and the food didn't take too long to come either. Here's my take on the food: **Soy marinated crab: I was pleasantly surprised that there was roe in the crab! Very fresh. I wish the marinade was sweeter. Also enjoyed the fish roe rice bowl that came with it but I think I could've used a bit more rice since the crab was more savory. **Spicy marinated crab: Seemed to be a bigger portion than the soy crab but it was different type of crab. This marinade was too sweet imo. ** Bossam: Pretty standard and tasty but the large size wasn't very large. Service was so friendly and sweet. We did have to ask multiple times to get a refill on banchan and by the time it came out, we had finished our main dishes already. The parking lot here is usually tough to find a spot but maybe because we beat the dinner rush, there was plenty.

For the flat lovers out there, these are some of the best fried wings you will taste. The seasoning wasn't too overpowering either. Not really any heat or spice but the crunch and moistness and flavor was there. Seafood Boil - 9/10 We got the Cajun seasoning. Solid flavor, it didn't feel too greasy. I didn't feel there was too much sauce on ours, everything was seasoned well. We split this between two people and it was enough, but this bag alone probably won't leave two people satiated. The price point was really decent for being able to get crab though, for $45 for crab and 2 other choices of seafood + the potato's, corn and sausage that's a great deal. Service-10/10 very friendly staff. Bathrooms - clean. Overall establishment was very clean, we got our waters and menu immediately when we sat down. The food was delicious and I'd definitely come back.

My favorite sauce is the garlic butter and I love their Manila Clams and Snow Crab here. Everything tastes fresh and the clams are huge! I wasn't a huge fan of the calamari since I prefer tiny fried squid pieces instead of the large cuts, but the outer batter was crispy. If you're in the mood for Cajun, this spot is definitely a great place to hit up. The service is always great too.

Cap't Loui not only is the best seafood…read moreboil restaurant around but also one of the best restaurants PERIOD. 5 star restaurant that includes 5 star food (shrimp, crawdads, garlic noodles, garlic bread, Cajun fries), 5 star cleanliness, and the most outstanding 5 star service you will ever receive. My wife and I consistently come to Cap't Loui for our beloved Friday date nights at least once a month. We are ALWAYS so impressed with the yummy food (we always get 2lbs shrimp/2lbs crawfish combo in Medium Cap't Loui sauce with garlic noodles, garlic bread, and Cajun fries). Wifey and I are stuffed after this but will cleanse our palate with complimentary popsicles in the freezer by the entrance. So yes, the seafood boil and food is absolutely phenomenal. But even MORE impressive is the generationally excellent customer service, in particular from Aung and Edward. They are true servant leaders and I noticed they take care of each and every patron as if they were family members or royalty. Between the delicious food and the brilliant customer service, you better bet your bottom dollar that my wife and I will continue having our traditional Friday night dates at Cap't Loui!!!!

I usually go to Cajun Bistro for seafood boil, but I find the quality of the seafood there to be inconsistent, which made me want to try a new place. I got the 4lb combo with crawfish (frozen, fresh is $5 extra), shrimp, and clams, including corn, sausages, and potatoes. We also got garlic noodles and a calamari basket with cajun fries. For seafood boil sauce, we opted for the cajun instead of lemon pepper. I wasn't sure if I would finish everything, but it was INHALED. I really like the seafood quality here, but sauce-wise, I prefer Cajun Bistro for the garlic butter sauce. Cap't Loui does not offer that sauce, but it was still delicious overall. Service is timely and our food came fast, so thats a big plus. Only complaint I have here is that I wish there was more sauce in the bowl. The bowl had too much food, so I couldn't dip or soak my seafood in the flavor.
