    Veg chowmein
    Rucha S.

Ordered the veg momo platter and veg chowmein for pickup. The staff was busy handling multiple pickup orders and chatting among themselves, didn't pay immediate attention, and didn't come across as particularly friendly. There were several pickup orders ahead of us. We noticed our order and asked if it was ready; they said it would take another 15 minutes. When we came back, they handed us the same order we had already seen earlier. Veg chowmein: Nice smoky flavor and decent overall. Portion size was decent for the price. However, it felt oily and not particularly high quality. Veg momo platter: The momos were generously filled and had decent flavor, but the outer coating was too thick. The "tandoori" momo wasn't actually tandoori--just red-colored. The deep-fried momo was chewy. Overall, for the price, the food didn't feel justified and wasn't great in terms of quality.

One of my favorite meals in a while. I loved the momos - the sauce was amazing, and they were cooked perfectly. Very solid lassi as well. Definitely a fan of the lamb dish, but the star of the meal was the gulab jamun; this was the best version of the dish I've had in recent memory, really amazing. Will for sure return!

tandoori momos, sauces, garlic naan x2

Great place to get Nepalese food. The menu is huge, so I definitely haven't tried everything on it, but there's a few staples I like coming back to. I like the 12pc momos where you can try a couple different types/flavors (steamed, deep fried, pan fried, tandoori) -- you can get them separately, too. I don't love the noodles they come with; they taste really plasticky. The garlic naan here is great and packaged really nicely in foil, and a few other dishes like the aloo gobi mattar and everest gobi coconut are pretty decent too. The parking is alright, and service is plenty nice too. Overall a decent place with a pretty wide-ranging menu!

Tandoori chicken (half = only two pieces. Not half a chicken)

The food tastes good but it leaves you hungry. The portions are not as generous as the other reviews indicate. I don't know what they were comparing to. Took a picture of the butter chicken and spoon for size/portion comparison. The tandoori chicken half is only two pieces compared to full (4 pieces). I'm guessing a lot of reviews were rewritten with ChatGPT to make it extra or grand. There are many Indians coming to the restaurant so the food must be authentic but too pricey for the portions for me. The service is good otherwise and restroom is clean.

Super flavorful. However, I think the spice might not accommodate certain people's tastebuds. Chicken steam momo had thick chewy dough, but overall was seasoned well. Had a good sample of each food and got full after a couple bites.

Order: 2 Garlic Cheese Naan Breads 1 Mango Lassi Spicy California Chicken Chow Mein Full Tandoori Chicken Lamb Curry Momo Platter The food was absolutely delicious! Everything arrived fresh and hot, with the spice levels spot on. The garlic cheese naan was tasty, though a little too cheesy for my personal preference a lighter touch of cheese would be perfect next time. The momo platter was a standout--each dumpling was stuffed with a variety of sauces and paired wonderfully with the different dipping sauces. We also received a complimentary shot of chai tea, which was a lovely touch. While the dishes didn't all come out at once, every item was worth the wait. Simply, the food was amazing across the board. The service was decent overall, but there's room for improvement. My party of three wasn't offered menus while we waited to place our order, even though other waiting guests were. Not sure why the inconsistency occurred, but it stood out. The restaurant is small and was pretty packed, so perhaps that contributed to the oversight. We waited about 7 minutes to be seated. Once we were, the service went smoothly. The restaurant is a hidden gem tucked away near office buildings in the San Jose area definitely an unexpected but delightful find. I also loved the photos of the food displayed around the restaurant; they add a nice visual touch and build up excitement for the meal. A flavorful, satisfying experience with a few minor service hiccups. I'd absolutely return and next time, maybe a little less cheese on the naan!

Lots of free parking right outside this corner restaurant makes it east for a quick pick up and go. Best part - it's open till 1 am!! So for all the midnight snackers and people like me who cant eat dinner at 7 pm, this is good to know!! The servers are less and you need to get their attention to order and pay. The food came quickly and all are demands of extra sauce, extra onion/ green chilli etc were promptly dealt with and free of charge. This made them earn a good tip :) win win! In $40 (before tip), we got: - free papad with chutney 5/5 - veg chili momos 5 pc - 5/5 - stir fried momos with onion, bell peppers and chilli sauce. Served with yummy orange sauce - chicken chili momos 5 pc - 5/5 - similar to above but i liked the chicken ones more - malai kofta - 5/5 - creamy and smooth. Delectable and tender. It consisted of 4 pcs (balls) and lots of gravy - garlic naan - 5/5 - too good and so soft. 4 big pieces made it shareable Loved everything and definitely coming back to try steamed chicken momos and chowmein next time :) Highly recommended for the taste and value for money.

    Tandoori Chicken-Half
    Rimi S.

Food wise the taste is delicious. Definitely a good place to check out. I did feel disappointed in the advertised "1/2 tandoori" chicken. They literally give a chicken leg quarter and call it 'half chicken' that's cut in two pieces. It's false advertising imo. Ordering via the website didn't work well for me. It said the food will take 20mins. I went to pick up after 30mins and they still hadn't processed the order yet. Overall it close to 45-50mins to get food. Since they have multiple branches, I would've expected them to figure out efficient ordering .

Super tasty food We were here on the weekend and it was pretty busy. We had to wait for about 20 mins to get the table, however the food here is worth the wait. Because of the crowd, service was a bit slow. I honestly detest those green colored veg Momos, that a lot of restaurants in the bay area serve. Momos here were such a welcome change. We had their Titanic Momo plate and it was tasty. Our friends had fish and chicken coconut curry that was good too. Tandoori Roti was nice. The star of the evening was Veg Chowmein though... Loved it! This little place has a great potential for sure.

Butter Chicken and Dal Makhani with basmati rice
    Leo M.

my partner and I were next door looking up places to eat but the aroma of this restaurant had us gravitate towards the door and look at the menu from outside. We ordered the butter chicken and dal makhani with sides of basmati rice, the server explained each menu item is ordered separately. We both loved our dishes, these are our go to orders at any nepalese/indian cuisine restaurants but this is the best one we've ever eaten! 10/10 ! 5 stars !

We were here at Everest Cuisine today, and we really had a wonderful experience. We started of with Fry Momo, Chicken Chilli Momo and Titanic Jhol momo, there momo were really juicy and full with flavors. The mix chicken chowmein was really amazing which I was craving for sincelong time. Service and ambience was great. Clean Restroom. Have parking space for customers.

WOWOWOWOW what a freaking gem! A co-worker recommended this place and I don't know how I haven't been here before (or heard of it) We ordered: - Special Himalayan Steam Momo (Chicken) 10 pieces (6/5) - simple but so flavorful! - Chicken Tikka Masala - Chef's Special (6/5) - sososo flavorful! Would re-order in a heartbeat! - Garlic Naan (6/5) - The BEST garlic naan I've ever had! I wish I had bought some to-go I've had similar food in Nepal and Everest Cuisine has really catered their flavor profile for Americans (not a bad thing). Be prepared to be wow'd (assuming you don't have Himalayan food on the daily) because you will want more! I'm excited to come back and try other dishes!

    Chicken 65
    Bijal J.

Today we decided to go to Everest for some decent Punjabi food. I know place is known for its indo Chinese food but we ordered veg momos, chicken 65, basket of naan and kadhai paneer. It's a very small place but has the right vibes. You get to see a lot of young people coming there for some good people. Not very expensive. For all this food we paid 60$ including a 10% tip. Food n quantity both good though the paneer kadhai was a little less than expected
