The chicken wings were great, best part of the meal by far. I would come here just for the wings. Pork taco was ok, fries and baked beans were decent. The rib sandwich was good, not worth the trip but good if you are there. The slaw was pretty bad, not a lot of flavor. The brisket was absolutely terrible, horrible quality meat, no smoke flavor, tasted like a bottom shelf cut of roast beef we couldn't even eat it. Service was very fast and friendly, food came out fast. The place is nice but a little small, you really got to squeeze between the tables and chairs to get around. It's a fast casual style restaurant where you order at the front, receive a number and then they bring the food to your table. There's ample parking around the restaurant. The staff is quite friendly and seem happy to work there and are enthusiastic about the food. This time we went with the turkey plate that comes with two sides and the tacos and a side of fries. The turkey is lightly seasoned, tasty, but needed to be a little warmer. The mac and cheese is the creamy style with some cheese on top. Not my favorite, but I can see how it might appeal to some. The fries are the basic crinkled type fries that were hot and crispy with something similar to Lawry's seasoned salt sprinkled on top. The tacos were probably the "star" of the meal. We went with the chicken and the brisket tacos. The flour tortilla is crispy and seasoned. Unfortunately, the meats are a bit buried in too much pico de gallo plus a chipotle crema so everything just falls everywhere when you try to eat it. Perhaps asking for that on the side would help. There are many other options on the menu to try. Unfortunately, they were out of the collard greens, which was the vegetable of the day. Not so much a sandwich, sandwich, but the best ribs ever on a piece of white bread with some slaw like nothing I have ever had before. I could eat the slaw by the bucket and the fries were fresh and very good too. I am a woodworker and enjoyed the varied tables and that they had identification plates. The place is neat as a pin and the staff is super friendly and helpful. One the way out I was looking throughthe glass doors at the smokers and the manager welcomed me in and explained how they work. When we got in the staff was friendly and helped with decisions on what to eat. I got the ribs and a salad and my husband got the Bbq burger with fries. Hands down the best smoked BBQ turkey in town! My wife had the bbq pork, which she really enjoyed. I'm not usually a pork guy either, but I tried hers as well and it was really good--lean, yet juicy and not dried out. Their regular and white bbq sauces are both phenomenal. Honestly, their regular bbq sauce is definitely something to write home about. Baked beans and fries were pretty perfect too! Their special side of the week was mac & cheese, which immediately had me saying "this might be the best in town too" after one bite. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the brisket was dry but still packed with flavor the pulled pork was tender and salty without being overpowering and had an excellent smokiness the mac and cheese was a little gritty but packed with flavor and savory (might need to use freshly grated cheese) I've never had salad in a cup before but it makes sense the dressing was able to coat all of it evenly and the bacon bits being actual bacon was a great touch. Customer service was phenomenal great people to be around felt like you were visited your family that you haven't seen in a while. I got the pork taco and the rib sandwich when I stopped by. The pork was juicy and nicely flavored but a bit spicy in my opinion. I wasn't really sure what I was expecting with it but it definitely had a salsa/Mexican flare to it since it was a taco. The ribs were just on a piece of white bread. I feel like it wasn't really necessary, just get rid of the bread or make it an actual sandwich (take the meat off the bone). It just felt weird eating a slice of bread. The sauce was more savory than sweet but the ribs were melt in your mouth delicious. I love when ribs just fall off the bone/into your mouth and that is exactly what they did.
