The beautiful modern dining room is spacious, warm, inviting, and modern! We were greeted immediately and we're told that we can sit at any table that we would like to! For our families that was huge, because we have an infant in comfortability is key! The food was hot and delicious and they even were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions! This restaurant is definitely a 10 out of 10 for food, atmosphere and service! I would highly recommend!

I was finally able to make a visit to this place. It's in a strip mall along with other businesses…read moresuch as Kohls, Finesse Salon Studios and across from Publix Super Market. Theres plenty of parking and they have a small area for outside seating. As you walked in, there's plenty of seating, they have an open kitchen concept, a side room for special events or meetings (25 people capacity) but it's their mission that caught my interest as cashier/ hostess Lexi explains to me. This company spreads and provides charity catering throughout the community with multiple outlets. Lexi was very patient as she explains how the menu works. I ordered 3 items: 1) Loaded baked potato 2) Fried fish 3) Chicken and waffles. I just wanted to taste the baked potato without any protein on top. I don't know what it was that had an off taste, maybe the butter. The potato itself was soft topped with cheese, green onions and a little bland. The chicken and waffle were tasty. The fried chicken wasn't as crispy as I would like it but it was well seasoned and the waffle was soft. There are so many options for your sides. So for the fried fish, the appearance looks delicious but it was very thin and dry. Even with the tartar sauce it was still dry. I was really looking forward to it. The sides I selected were fries and hope cakes (which are sweet corn bread). Their beverages are on point, I got their lemonade and sweet tea. Lexi was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant is only opened on Fridays-Sundays for regular business but since they do multiple catering events, they are open 7 days a week. They also offer Sunday brunch between the hours of 9a-3p which the entire dining room is open with mocktail and coffee station. There isn't a buffet during the brunch but a la carte off the menu. I would make a return visit to try their brunch menu in the near future.

Stopped here in a whim while in the area and now looking forward to our next visit. Portion sizes…read moreare ridiculous... so large. Lunch specials are amazing, even include your drink. Nice place to sit and eat or they offer carry out. Staff/servers were great!!! Very attentive and helpful. It was our first visit and we got a free dessert, plus they ask if you'd like a drink to go. This place is a little hidden gem! My husband got a teriyaki chicken bowl and that came with two sides! The potato salad was so good I got a side to go! Definitely give this place a try.

This was my third time at Fish N Grill (could've sworn I had written a review before but guess…read morenot), and I'm so glad we visited again. It had been over a year and, frankly, I expected it to be way busier for a Friday evening. Trying to beat the rush, we arrived around 5:30pm... cue eating with the seniors. Our waitress, Jennifer, was friendly and wonderful during the entire visit. While we were looking at the menu, she warned us the kitchen was backed up about 40 minutes, so that pushed us to put in an order of fried calamari. The calamari took about 10 minutes to come out, which was totally reasonable. The bowl of calamari was served with a side of marinara and spicy mayo. The breading (homemade) was nice and thick, not too greasy. The two downsides of it is that the calamari were overcooked, which led them to being rubbery, and the breading was a bit salty. Given Jennifer had told us the kitchen staff was training, we gave them some grace and ate the calamari anyway. For my entree, I had a combo platter. There's various combos to pick from; I chose the fish fillet and crab cake. You can choose between 4-5 types of fish (I went for flounder) and whether you want it grilled or fried. The crab cake was awesome and had very little filler. All platters come with 4 hush puppies (they were very good!) and two sides of your choosing. I opted for coleslaw, which was creamy and semi sweet but not much (I prefer that over the vinegar base coleslaw), and candied yams. My husband had the two fish fillet platter with a side of mac n' cheese and coleslaw. Overall, the food was super good. Despite the appetizer, we enjoyed our dinner and look forward to returning again.

Service: Always exceptional. I can't believe I haven't left a review before! We always come here for big occasions because there is so much choice and we love tapas style lunch/dinner: 10/10 Food: What isn't good here!? We always get the charcuterie board, the white pizza, the paella, and other small plates:10/10. Drinks: I've tried quite a few of their cocktails and have to admit the only thing I didn't love was the Bloody Mary but that is down to personal preference. Everyone makes theirs a little different and that's okay. Regardless: 10/10. Overall, a solid 5 stars for Tapa Rio. I'll keep coming back here for sure!

It was quite with some music. Service was friendly but just a little slow. We ordered a variety of dishes including: Chorizo al Vino Tinto, Spiendini, Patatas con Aioli, Croquettes, Gambas a la Plancha, Gambas al Ajillo, Albondigas, Carne Pizza, and Paella de Carne and the Zeppole for dessert. We loved the Chorizo al Vino Tinto and the Spiendini. Both were delicious and well seasoned. The Gambas a la Plancha had a very good chimichurri sauce and the Albondigas were very flavorful. The Paella came out quickly but it wasn't my favorite. It wasn't like a traditional Paella and there were olives and red onions. Overall still ok, and the Gambas al Ajillo had a sweetness to it. The Carne Pizza was good though. My friend ordered the cocktail Purple Rain and he enjoyed it. We did like most of the items ans would definitely come back to try the other dishes.

So, you'd expect the food to be fresh and hot. Here's how it went. We had the old bay fries, chicken with potato wedges, steak and cheese, and pizza. The crust on the pizza was burnt, rubbery, and barely had any sauce. The old bay fries were tough and cold. You could tell it was old and had been sitting for a while. The chicken was extremely dry as well as the hard and rubbery potato wedges. The steak and cheese were okay, hence the two stars. It was very flavorful and the bread was fresh. I'm not sure where all of the 5-star ratings came from but the food we had was TRASH!! My grandkids didn't even like the pizza, and they're crazy about pizza.
