I like the new colors for the shirts and sweatshirts. The Market looks nice and fresh. Great produce and jar walls. I like this years strawberry fields location being just past the NEW baby Brahman cow. He's soooo cute! The berries are sooooooo good!!!! The Gift Shop has some cool new treats. The dips and beer breads look good. Fun to look at the biggest selections of salt and pepper shakers anywhere around. Oh the signs keep us laughing while we shop. The Patio Cafe' and Coffee cart are a must too! You can't go wrong with anything you order. My go to is the Turkey Panini but the Whole Farm burger is a fav of my family too. Fresh eggs, veggies, fruit, honey and even some pastries available at the roadside farm stand. On a busy day there is someone running the shop but on off hours, it's the honor system. Toto, we are not in Portland anymore! The day I visited in early spring, they had fresh apricots, zucchini (4 for a dollar!), black grapes, eggs, cherry tomatoes in red, yellow and orange, many types of apples but were out of fresh eggs. There were jars of golden honey in different sizes, even quarts! The freshly made fruit hand pies looked yummy! Since I had just rewarded myself with an ice cream cone after my hike to the top of Multnomah Falls, I passed on those and bought a pint of super sweet black grapes and four zucchini. The zucchini will be sautéed and carmelized for Saturday night pasta and a Sunday morning omelet. Can't wait! Cute little stand with their orchard in the back drop. Definitely worth a stop for fresh, in-season produce, fruit, honey, eggs and other treats! As the season progresses, the offerings will be expanded to berries and more! Support local.

I get my produce all your long here. I get my plants and flowers in the spring and summer. I get my Christmas trees here in the winter as well as Halloween hay corn stocks. They just keep me here all year long. I come at least twice a week on my Mobility Scooter since it's close to the house.

Unlike supermarket checkouts designed to push impulse purchases, Growers Outlet has surprises in every corner. They don't sell meat, but we usually end up with multiple items that were not on our shopping list. There are a couple of times a year, when we want strawberries for canning, or a tree for Christmasing, when no place else will do. I wouldn't be at all surprised if there are many other Portlanders that have their own times of year when they simply have to come here.

We of course visited the store and the petting zoo. The pigs at the petting zoo were great and the staff running it was amazing to speak to. The corn maize looked awesome but neither of us were wanting to go through it. Bella Organic has a little bit for everyone which made this place a hit for us. The staff was also super friendly and ready for the season!
