Stopped by on Tuesday. They had a farm stand with okay area. They sell pumpkins in the area. There is a play area for kids. Olson Farms is located on a big area area. There are slides, tractor tire obstacles and swing area. We had fun taking some pumpkin pictures. Very nice day to enjoy before the rain hits. I know there are more activities on the weekends. So if you want more activities, definitely come over in a weekends. read more

This pumpkin patch does it right. No crazy entry fees. Lots of really cool things for kids to play on that look mostly or maybe entirely made out of recycled goods. Beautiful pumpkins. The only thing they charge for besides the pumpkins and produce are for a caterpillar train ride which is $5 per ride per kid. Farm animals to pet, a hay ride and more! Highly recommend. read more

These people wouldn't know a good melon if they were sitting on it. The one they selected for me, according to their 'expertise', was hollow and rotten. $20 for a stinking piece of garbage. Don't buy produce from these people unless you like throwing away your money. read more

Wonderful small family farm in Damascus with lots of unique setups like a tire pyramid for kids to climb, 2 "slides" made out of tubing, unique swings, donkeys and goats, and PUMPKINS. During the weekday there's no one manning the farm and they operate on an honor system to sell the pumpkins. On weekends there's a pony ride, hay rides, and more animals for petting. With 3 kids under 2 in our party, we were glad to go on the weekday without the crowds. Plenty of options for cute photoshoot with the kids and just the right amount of activity where they weren't bored or overwhelmed. This is going to be our go to pumpkin farm for the next couple of years. Bring small bills to purchase items! read more

Easiest pumpkin patch we've been to this year and affordable! Pumpkins are priced well and many sizes to pick from in the field and also up by the stand. NO ADMISSION FEES!!! No hayrides and the pull carts (social distancing reasons) but still fun for the kids. They had a mini hay maze that the kids enjoyed jumping and running through. Tire swings and tire climbing stack. The slide and play area is closed. The petting area is closed but the goats and donkeys are easy to view in their big fenced area. All were friendly. Most people were wearing masks in the crowded areas and some masked off in the field since there was barely anyone within 25 ft of each other out there. They had produce, fruit, and U cut flowers. Fresh! Friendly and low pressure. Great set up for pics in many spots and spaced out. Come support this wonderful farm! Cash, check, or Venmo only. read more

What a fun pumpkin patch, there is a lot of open space so you don't feel like there's too many people around you. Play area and hay rides are closed because of covid... but there are still animals and some play structures for the kiddos. We were there on a weekday so it was self service you just drop some bills in a box and pick up the pumpkins you want. read more

Beautiful location, lots of pumpkins and fun activities for young children. However you are in mask free territory here. Staff are maskless and most of the customers. The playground area is full of kids tumbling all over each other (naturally)- almost all without masks. If you believe Covid is real, science is real and that mask wearing helps those of us who can't (or won't!) get vaccinated, such as children under 12, then this is probably not the place for you. read more

Awesome pumpkin patch! Just visited today and got a great assortment of large and mini pumpkins. There's a mini hay maze for the kids and tractor tire obstacles for them to play on. This place is fantastic for younger children or for adults looking to find great quality pumpkins at reasonable prices. This is our third year visiting the farm, and while we continue to visit alternate places for cornmazes and caramel apples, you can't beat Olsen's for pumpkin picking! They have a play area for small kids with slides and other fun activities, all which are FREE! In addition to a few goats and mini donkeys to look at. There are apples and other fall produce to purchase, as well as corn stalks and hay bails. Again, all very reasonably priced. I was happy to see a local coffee cart onsite during select days this season, which was a nice addition as we've always felt the only thing this place was missing was a yummy treat. The farm is much cleaner than most pumpkin patches as the parking area and play areas are covered in grass, and it makes for some great pumpkin patch photos! We will continue to purchase our family pumpkins from Olsen's in the future and appreciate them for creating a beautiful, fun experience at very little cost to their customers. read more

We had a good time at the Olsen Farm harvest festivities. We are a family of 3 and we spent $30, $3 on the barrel train for our son who is 4 and the rest on pumpkins (we got a very large one, a big one, a smaller to medium sized one with warts, and two small gord-like pumpkins). I really wanted to ride the barrel train with my son who also wanted me to as well but the fella who sold the tickets to us said they prefer it to be for children only. I had the feeling the fella thought I might be too heavy (not huge but pleasantly plump) but we saw a few adult men riding and a woman with her child too. I'm not gonna lie, I almost gave 4 stars only just for that but - big deal. I'm almost 40, I don't NEED to ride on the barrel train. Last year we went to another farm (can't remember the name, unfortunately.. Wooden Shoe Farm) and they let me ride the barrel train and they also went way faster and it was a blast. This train was perfect for my son though, who did not enjoy the faster ride last year as much as me and his dad. I think the "conductor" fella took my son for a longer ride than usual because he happened to be the only kiddo on the train, which was nice. I'm giving 5 stars because we genuinely had fun, the grounds and pumpkin patch were clean and beautiful with plenty of nice pumpkins big and small, oh and i almost forgot!! One of the whole reasons I picked this place (besides it being only 8 miles away from us and on the SE side of Portland and had 5 star reviews on here).... They have a horse-drawn hayride to the pumpkin patch. We never been on one before so the novelty of it was very attractive. Our son I think overheard an adult tell their child it was smelly behind the horses on that carriage so they got on the tractor one.... So our son complained and tried refusing the horse one haha but I told him to suck it up and don't listen to and copy other people and get on or I'd go alone. He tried to make everyone and me miserable but i basically told him to shut up but in kinder words. He sucked it up, stopped whining, and said nothing else for the 5 minute ride and told me later it wasn't so bad AND..... Most importantly.... It didn't stink behind the horses. To be fair, the horses did smell a little if you stood up close to them but no worries on the ride. They were probably tired, sweaty, and ready to poop or something. Anyway, thanks Olson Farm, you got a good thing going on there. read more

I like that you can either go up in the fields to pick out a pumpkin or they have some set up out front. Would recommend this pumpkin patch for kids. It's nice and big. They have play areas for kids and kids can run around the big property full of pumpkins. They also have few animals to pet. Bring cash to buy vegetables and fruits. We got apples and it was delicious. Will go again before they close for the season. Have already shared this farm with family and friends. Visited the Olson Farms pumpkin patch with my family. They had several activities available and they still had a ton of great pumpkins to choose in the patch. Very reasonably priced and loved all the spots for photo ops! Just a reminder that it's cash only so make sure to hit the ATM before coming. read more

We went here after the not so good reviews of Liepold Farms. This place is awesome. Friendly staff, beautiful patch of pumpkins and a fantastic Apple Sling Shot. We will definitely be back next year for our pumpkins and now I know where to start for summer veggies. read more

Very cute farms and nice to get away from the Sauvie Island craziness. They have beautiful horses leading their hay rides- so much cooler than tractors! And its a very picturesque area plus a lovely drive through the forest to get there. We will be back. read more
