Love the drinks here, very creative cocktails. HUGE fan of the BYO Grilled Cheese, too! We tend to order out here and then take it to a local beer spot that is easier with kids, and takeout is ready when quoted, and they're great with providing napkins, utensils and extra sauces. Frustrating. 3. Didn't like seasoning on steak; husband though loved it. 4. Jalapeños big slices with spicy membrane and seeds. Had to cut them up. 5. Beer cheese on nachos excellent. Our first time here and we'll be back! The cheese curds are elite, especially with their homemade ranch! I'm a ranch snob and theirs is delicious :) Our server recommended the Blueberry Maple Bourbon drink and it was SO good- perfectly balanced. My husband really liked his old fashioned too. We got the steak sandwich and pulled pork sandwich. Both come with hand cut fries that were well-seasoned. Both sandwiches are solid choices. We were excited to try Burnt Barrel Social knowing about their variety of whiskey selection. The food was good and our waitress was very attentive and nice. The only issue we had was that we tried ordering a bourbon blueberry drink, the bartender did not want to substitute Buffalo Trace. Bartenders should be able to make drinks without making a fuss about it. We ended not getting those drinks because he wouldn't make them. read more

Came here for dinner on a Wednesday night and was seated right away on the patio. All the tables seemed to be dirty, but it's probably hard to clean those patio tables! This place has a very impressive drink menu! I personally didn't get any, but I tried everyone's at the table. The flavored mule (I think it was blueberry) was AMAZING! The canned beers (donut and caramel apple, I think) were good too. The one said they could serve with a cinnamon sugar rim, but it was just a can. We inquired and they said they had copied and pasted it from somewhere else, sorry. Okay.... The cheese curds were very tasty and holy cow, there were a lot of them! My apple walnut salad was bland. I think some cheese (maybe goat or blue) would have worked wonders for it. I appreciate that there were several vegetarian options on the menu to choose from though! I ordered a medium rare burger that came straight up well done. My dads burger that was supposed to be medium well came pinker than mine (they were two very different burgers so idk how it could have been mixed up). Even aside from the cook, the taste was just subpar. The way they cut the toppings are so inconvenient and not appetizing. The fries were room temp and soft. Food was delicious and service was top notch! Our daughter is gluten free so we ordered her a burger with a gluten free bun. We ordered her burger medium, but we didn't realize how thick it would be. So she actually wanted it more cooked. We told our server Deena and without hesitation took the burger and put in for a fresh order. Matt the manager stopped by to let us know they had a fresh burger being cooked to order for her. He also delivered the burger and made sure it was perfect. We got a steak sandwich which had terrible cuts of meat, stringy ligaments...., couldn't chew it, and the bread was old and toasted too much it was too hard. Hubby LOVES fried cheese curds,and they were good the first time we came. It's a little bit of a drive but it was a nice day. I feel like I need to try them out again to give a better review. I met a friend for lunch on a Friday afternoon and this place was packed!!! We sat outside. The patio area is spacious and nice. I ordered their seasonal sangria to start and it was good. Their food menu was not impressive. Mostly fancy bar food. I ordered a bbq chicken sandwich and fries. It was ok. It wasn't bad but it wasn't the greatest. I ordered another cocktail that was not on the menu but I'm the board as you walk in. I can't recall what it was called but it had the work mash in it and it was purple. OMG was that good! It was the perfect summer drink. Service was ok. Came in for dinner on a Saturday evening. We were seated immediately. Service was prompt and friendly. We ordered the BBQ chicken sand which and the half order of steak nachos. The half order was quite large. I appreciate that they used shredded cheese for the nachos and not just a nacho cheese sauce. Overall though the nachos were just ok. The bbq chicken sandwich was really good. We had two littles with us and there is a kids menu and they ordered the chicken tenders. The ranch dressing dipping sauce was a hit. Bothe the chicken tenders and bbq chicken sandwich can with fries but unfortunately the fries were quite disappointing. read more

I've been to this restaurant several times now. The walleye grilled sandwich is PERFECTION! EXCELLENT SERVICE EACH TIME. Easy to get to & so glad we decided to try restaurants in the area. It's not the same since Covid as so many restaurants no longer exist, so its very refreshing to find something not far away. The town benefits from the shopping prior to and after having lunch. My Kid got into a great school and this is where she decided to celebrate! Now, at first glance this place is expensive! But, The portions make up for the cost! I can't hit the restaurant on this one since it was my kid that ordered it. I take no credit for those genetics. It was even spears and not slices so that made bad even worse... Wings: 10/10 The boy child did not like them but the adult in the room says they are everything they should have been! Grilled Steak Sandwich: 6/10 This one was a bite by bite variance. Some were super dry, some were tasty. Overall I recommend it but add some sauce or au-jus or something to make it less dry. Kids Boneless tenders: 7/10 They were pretty standard, as per usual only about one bite was had by the 9 yo besides the fries. Overall it was a good time but I would rather see lower prices and smaller portions on some items. If I were to change one thing it is the "make your own" philosophy on the menu. The restaurant should create more signature Grilled cheeses and burgers. I don't like the ala-cart style and REALLY don't like it when i have to force the kids to choose... then they end up putting pickles on Grilled cheese and everything goes down hill! Lol read more

Stopped in with my wife to try a new place. We began our meal with a couple cocktails. Then move to food, starting with nachos, then pivoted to a brat burger (for me) sliders for her. For dessert, cheesecake with raspberry drizzle. All in all, we enjoyed the food and the ambiance of the patio. While Frank strummed his acoustic guitar, we chowed down. Very interesting place. I arrived here after watching the movies nearby with a few of my friends. It was a sunny warm Sunday afternoon/evening and we wanted to grab some food. This location was very easy to fine with plenty of parking, especially if you have to borrow some parking from the movie theater because they are pretty much empty (Movie theater is empty) Sadly, I arrived just before the kitchen closes. I felt very bad, especially being a chef in my previous career is, but they were happily to accommodate our group. We sat outside on the patio which was very nice considering how wonderful the weather was. The menu was pretty extensive as far as drinks are concerned. However, the food menu is a little small. I ordered the Brat burger with some fries. The name states exactly what it is. Instead of a brat bun they transform this into a burger instead. It was topped with a little bit of sauerkraut and onions. It was amazing. There is nothing more to be said about that burger... It was just amazing. Maybe it is COVID-19 hours, or maybe it was Sunday, but I arrived here at 8 PM which was around the time the kitchen was closing. The restaurant does not close until 9 o'clock. The staff was very very friendly. I think this is a very nice place to hang out especially given the menu for the drinks and how friendly and nice the entire staff was. We had a few people stop by and they were very engaging overall I must say I am a fan of this location. In the end, I can see myself coming back here. The staff service was wonderful, The food was delicious, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I recommend you check this place out if you're in the area. read more

Burnt Barrel Social, so pop it in the gps and the hubby and I were gone! PS right across the lot from NCG movie theater so dinner and a movie! I think so, men plan a date and her you go I did all the work for you! All you have to do is like my review lol! So the place is adorable, TVs everywhere so come eat and watch the game! Noise level was average, it will be easier to sit with groups of 5 or less, but I'm sure they can make it work! Patio looked nice but we were inside, anyways on to the service. We had an incredible waitress named Mary, I was a bit cranky and she provided the best service she was so sweet and made sure I had some perfect beers and food she was absolutely incredible and I will hope you are lucky enough to get her!!! The food was soooo good, the cheese curds can not be passed up, please please order you won't regret and order the ranch!!! We got a burger and the steak sandwich and they split it so we can share! Most restaurants won't or don't and they did which we didn't ask for so the thought was super awesome considering the hubby and I were just talking about sharing to both be able to try!!!!!
