I had also said that if the note upset her somehow, I was very sorry [I know, I'm have no game anymore - it'd been a few years since I've last asked a girl out and that was just bad]. So I paid for the meal and left a small tip, then left. The whole thing angered me and by the next day I had decided to complain. I phoned the manager and told him this story and he said he'd send a gift card to compensate me for the bad experience. As of today, I have yet to receive any gift card. In 94 days from now it'll be her next birthday!!! The whole thing was a disappointment. It was a waste of time, money and energy. If I had my time back I would've picked up Mary Browns & a cake for 1/3 of the cost and had it at the beach. As an appendix to this story, I just want to say that hypocrisy and people telling you they're going to do something and then not doing it, makes me very angry.
