Let me start by saying, the mole here is soooooooooo good! I did not expect it to blow me away the way it did. I've had plenty of home cooked Oaxacan mole, and this place was just as good! The chicken was tender! I ordered the chicken burrito, which didn't disappointment either. Service was fast and wasn't expensive. Definitely recommend.
Texans approve the queso! Great service and nice people. Very clean and nice area. I would for sure come back. Burritos were awesome also.
I saw this on an influencer video before my trip but, just stumbled here tonight. We ordered the Mexican plate which is for 2. Includes chicken braised in a verde sauce, pork adobo and the best of all carne asada was so fire! 16 dollars total! Probably enough food to make 10 tacos. Oh yeah, the guacamole was amazing and the rice and beans were probably my favorite I've ever had. Totally legit I would eat here again on the same trip even though there are so many restaurants to discover in sayulita!
While the food was tasty, the menu was lacking a lot of things I love and to be quite honest - the food was just mediocre. Presentation? Beautiful, the dishes are served on these beautiful clay pots with big portions! These portions are large enough to be shared between two-three hungry people. Besides the burritos, some dishes like the chilaquiles come with a side of beans which really make the entire dish super filling. My dad and I tried the bacon burrito and chorizo burrito. These burritos only came with a side of fresh pico. I would say that the burrito was good, but it was my favorite breakfast item here. I did like the salsa options (peep my picture) - if you're a fan of heat, there is one particular green salsa that was xxxspicy, the creeper kinda spicy - that I appreciate! The location is nice, where they offer outdoor seating right along the street so you get the action of the hustle and bustle of the town. Its a good spot, but it's not the best spot. Solid 3 stars.
This place has breakfast! I was looking at the photos on Yelp and did not find many. I had a fear that breakfast would not be served but it turned out that they offer a delicious one! We sat outside in the lovely weather. We had coffee, lemon ginger juice and the Montuleños. Coffee was not my favorite had a distinct flavor, but the juice was great! The juce was fresh and not too gingery. The Montuleños was tasty! It had a lot of sauce, the eggs were tasty almost like a quiche, and we enjoyed the darker salsa that contained jalapenos. The single dish was enough for the two of us.

I ate tacos for virtually every meal during my weeklong stay in Sayulita. Yeikame was my favorite taqueria, for sure. The food and service was fantastic. Make sure to try the chorizo, it'll blow your mind.
In Sayulita for a week long holiday in the sun and surf. Stopped in at Yeikame for some local food. We were seated at one of the outside tables and highly recommend waiting for an outside table as it is a lively little town and great for people watching. I ordered the chicken enchiladas. There were four and it came with rice and beans. The enchiladas were okay...lacked flavour. The spice assortment they brought out (which most of the local establishments do) was quite good and made in house. The service was good and our server was very pleasant. It was a positive food experience but with so many food establishments, we have no plans to return.
This was such a cute restaurant! I loved everything about it. I ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo and it was to die for. The portions were large and the food was fresh. Service was impeccable. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. The owner/manager was also present and we got some great advice. Don't miss out on this spot.
This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Sayulita. It's so freaking yummy! If you are looking for traditional Mexican food look no further -- go here!! The location is along one of the main streets in Sayulita and there are only about 5 tables so go early or expect to wait a while (you can also get to-go food). The tables are literally in the street but the risk of getting hit by a car was worth it for this food! I got the adobo pork platter which came with rice, beans, guac, blue corn tortillas and a small quesadilla. Plenty of food!! It was so delicious, I can't even describe it. Their margaritas are also super good and deceivingly strong. I had a good buzz on after just one -- you have been warned! The service was excellent: very attentive and friendly. You just must try this spot.
You can smell the fresh blue corn tortillas from down the street. That's not quite what lead us there; rather, they had a good amount of seating for our large group AND they offered chilaquilles. Everyone loves their food - guac, tacos, breakfast plates, caldo. And the owner and his mother treated us to a few rounds of tequila. Food was less than $4USD a person and we each walked away with leftovers - which o gladly gave away to locals in need. I went back a few other times to purchase their agua de Chaya. Will set go back for another visit next time I'm in Sayulita!

Bland refried beans, sad iceberg lettuce, and grey meat. I used up most of the offered salsa trying to jazz up my meal. The service was friendly and we were offered a tequila shot on the house at the end of our meal. The lighting inside the cafe is awful - sit outside if possible. If you need a big pile of food to fill up a hollow leg, then give this place a shot. Otherwise, if you care more about quality than volume, pass this place up in favor of a different establishment.
This is definitely one of my favorite places to come to even if I'm not neer by I will drive just to come have their breakfast Chilaquiles are amazing and the sopes for luch are the best!! I try the Huitlacoche with chipotle It's a blue little mushrooms with corn it's amazing! Also try the Caffé de olla with Piloncillo , thank me later !!
Yeikame was a happy accident. We really wanted breakfast one hot sayulita morning and Yeikame was the only place with no wait and who still sold breakfast past 11am. The staff is very very over the top friendly and helpful. One of the waiters pointed out their daily special of chilequiles. It was a chilequiles breakfast plate with rice and beans all for under $5. Which is an INSANE deal, I couldn't pass it up. Not only was everything dropped off super quick but the food was amazing, the portions are definitely American sized as well. I could have shared my plate and still had a hearty breakfast. I particularly enjoyed sitting out on the street and enjoying the passer Byers while enjoying my breakfast, it was an overall wonderful experience. read more

Came here for lunch. My friends and I all order different things. A friend got the shrimp Chile rellano which he said was kind of soggy but it had good flavor. My other friend got the Cochinita pibil. The onions on top were spicy and had a kick but the sauce was delish. I got the chicken mole which was a thick, chocolate, nutty mole and had huge pieces of chicken. It was good but I liked the mole at Mary's better. Service was quick and the workers were friendly. read more
Very good food. We came at dinner time on a Saturday night and we're pleasantly surprised to find it wasn't crowded. Our group of 4 got a table right away. We ordered the chips and guacamole to start. The guacamole was pretty lime-heavy which was a little disappointing but very fresh. I think it was just that batch since the guac that came with my meal wasn't like that. Then I and another person ordered the chicken fajitas while the others got burritos. The black tortillas are delicious and fresh and we liked the beans as well, much better than the canned refried beans you get in the US! My chicken had a lot of flavor and that classic fajita sweetness and the peppers were hot, fresh, and seasoned as well. I really enjoyed my meal and had enough leftover that I may have been able to split it in the first place. I heard good things about the mole burrito as well. Overall a good place to get Mexican food while still having a break from tacos. read more

The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and the service was good. The prices were reasonable but I wasn't crazy about my dishes. I ordered a steak taco and the cActus quesadilla. The steak waS good but it was swimming in meat juices, soaking the blue ccirn tortilla. The cactus in the quesadilla wasn't cooked enough for my taste. Not a big fan of blue corn tortillas either. On a high note, the food was served quickly. read more
We went to Yeikame three times during a recent visit to Sayulita. Two of those times, we had delicious, generously sized meals. The third time, my dish was a total dud: a bland, flavorless (heck, even saltless) dish. Alas :( Our first tryst with Yeikame was for lunch. I ordered the green chorizo nachos, and my SO ordered a burrito. We were both mesmerized by the giant plates of food that were brought out in front of us, and devoured our meals in record time. Those green chorizo nachos are really something, I tell you. The second visit was for breakfast. I ordered chilaquiles with a cactus and egg dish. It was a solid, filling, tasty meal--perfect nourishment before a snorkelling trip. And then came the third time. This was our final meal in Sayulita, and we had to eat a little quickly to ensure we'd get to the airport in time. Since Yeikame hadn't disappointed us thus far, we thought it was a safe bet. Ordering took a little while because it was a bit late in the afternoon for lunch, but that was nothing terrible. However, the chicken mole sope that I was given was an atrocity! It had literally zero flavors to it. The mole sauce was runny (incredibly thin and watery) and just...bland. I was basically eating chicken that had been cooked but not spiced, atop a blue corn tortilla. Incredibly disappointing. So, I guess you have a 66.67% chance of enjoying your meal at Yeikame? Took our family here after seeing the good reviews... slow service and we did not finish our tacos. Should of taken the hint when no one else was eating there. Go elsewhere, so many great places to choose from! read more

This was our first meal in Sayulita and decided to join the crowd and sit on the street tables of Yeikame! We LOVED seeing people pass by as we waited for our food, I ordered an agave mint agua fresca and my husband a beer... for food we ordered a burrito and vegetarian sope, which both were absolutely delicious! The sope was half nopales, half mushrooms with a blue corn base and black beans, and as large as the plate! The salsas were so good, especially the green and the habanero onions! Everything about our experience was so pleasant Ana we'll definitely be back! read more
Revisiting some Sayulita memories. This was our first dinner and it was probably the highlight! Blue corn tortillas ans chips were great and made it easy to try different salsas, moles, cheese, etc. We honestly had a little bit of everything - seafood, chicken, pork and it was all great. We even got complimentary tequila at the end of the meal and we wished we had asked the name of the tequila because it was so smooth! read more
Found this place through Yelp again and was very curious because of the rave reviews. We got there around noon time I noticed two people just standing right by the entrance. I wasn't sure if they're open or not so I asked if they were since it was dark inside. Turns out they're open and they offered us a menu. It was so hot and humid outside and the streets are so cramped; and tables and chairs were just lining up the already cramped one-way street. If you stay indoors, the small restaurant is so small and dark but they do have stand fans. Even then the air circulating is so hot. So we stayed outdoors so at least we get some air. We ordered the nachos with green sausage, Fried fish, and beef fajita. The nachos were tasty and unique. The fried fish was overcooked (it was tough and chewy). The fajita was just average. The blue tortillas were an interesting addition though... I couldn't rate this place 5 stars like most of the reviews have but will still recommend this esp since we really liked the green sausage a lot. read more

Easily my favourite place to eat in Sayulita. Hands down. Maybe in all of Mexico. Maybe the world. It's that good. We came here three times during our stay (and given the sheer number of restaurants in Sayulita, that's commitment!) I tried their fish taco, and their veggie enchiladas, but the star of my food experience (in life, probably) was their nachos with green chorizo. I would eat them every day of my life if I could! Twice when we visited I made the laughable mistake of ordering something "small" thinking it would be a little nibble before dinner. Well, it turns out that their prices are super cheap and their portions are not! I ordered one fish taco and out comes this amazing heap of shredded fish, mixed with delicious sauce on a ~6" blue corn tortilla! And yes, I ate it all. Screw dinner! Their veggie enchiladas are loaded with tasty vegetables and smothered in delicious sauce. The rice and beans that accompanied them were the perfect complement, too. And I highly recommend you try all four of the salsas that come with everything - they're divine! But back to these nachos. Served in an oval casserole dish, they were heaped with refried beans and cheese, and sprinkled liberally with green chorizo bits (what made them green? I have no idea but they were tasty!). As I stared in wonderment at this unrecognisable feast I realised no nachos were ever going to live up to this. I stand by that. The cheese was gooey and melted to perfection, and the beans seemed almost to have been mixed into the chips - there was even coverage even down to the bottom of the dish (and yes, I ate it ALL.). The different salsa were great fun to try and added some delicious heat to the meal. I'm drooling just thinking about it again... I know I'm going to try and recreate it at home, probably fail, then have to book a ticket back to Sayulita, just to eat more Yeikame nachos! Oh well! read more

The first meal of our trip to Sayulita was at Yeikama, and it was amazing. At first we didn't think we'd get a table (seating is limited), but a friendly host (the owner?) offered us some chairs to wait. As soon as he brought them out, a table opened up and he seated us. We ordered a blue corn shrimp taco, a chicken quesadilla and green enchiladas and a couple Pacificos. Everything was soooo good! The home made tortillas will blow your mind. Service was attentive and friendly. We got offered a shot of tequila out of these quaint little cups and even that was smooth and tasty. Highly recommended if you want quality, authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices. Edit: we came back. Many times. The green chorizo nachos are insanely good. read more

I was just walking around and stopped by at this place because the waiter was quite friendly with everybody that was passing by. They have good margarita, that's for sure. The food, tho, was ok. Expected a bit more flavour on it when I compare with similar dishes somewhere else. Make sure you get a table outside. Inside is kind of boring. :) read more
Oh my god so delicious and fun. When you drive into Sayulita for the first time, or any time, you are going to notice eye-catching charming restaurants spilling out onto the streets that beg you to visit. This is one you should not miss. The owners and staff are more than friendly and accommodating but it's the food that must be experienced. Blue corn tortillas, incredible red sauces and mole, flower and spiced waters...where should I stop? I can't, but you should. Stop at this wonderful establishment, slow down and be prepared for wonderful food and a great slice of this beautifully gracious town! read more
We walked over at about 2:45pm where's there was only one other patron who just finished up his meal. Yeikame is close to many other restaurants and their neighbor, a taco place, seemed to be hopping with people. I set out to eat here, so we did. At first we were confused because it looked like an ice cream shop... Turns out they are owned by the same folk and our server was handling our meal as well as scooping ice cream for people as they passed by. The restaurant: We ordered the yelp recommended green chorizo nachos as well as a pork plate. You don't get tortilla chips here, you get blue corn tortillas that are warm, as well as 4 different salsas. I enjoyed the pickled onion and red salsa the most. As our server mentioned, they are spicy but I would rate the spice level 1/5. For drinks I got a pineapple guava juice and my husband got a coke, totaling 35p. That juice alone is worth 35p, it was so tasty and refreshing. It appeared to be freshly made. The chorizo nachos (80p) was interesting. Imagine building it with me... Lay down a layer of refried beans. Insert fried tortillas. Layer down green chorizos that have been cooked into a very fine mince. Insert more fried tortillas and green chorizo, then put a bunch of cheese on top and bake. It comes with pico de gallo on the side. These nachos were alright... It was JUST OKAY. The adobo pork plate (135p) was huge with adobo pork, cactus, guacamole, refried beans, rice, and a small quesadilla with blue corn tortilla of course. The pork had good flavor, but some of the larger pieces tended to be dry. All other items on the plate were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the beans and cactus. Ice cream shop: All of the flavors we tried were delicious (coconut, mango, and caramel). You get two scoops for a small serving (30p). I ended up with coconut and mango, but so yummy but my favorite would be the coconut. There are little bits of coconut in it, and really tastes home made. Overall: get the juice and ice cream. The plate was good, but the meat needs some work. Skip the nachos! read more
