100000/10 The service was slow but man did the guacamole and margaritas make up for it. OH and the cheese dip is different but I really enjoyed it. The chips were fresh and had a little seasoning on it. This was the first place that had Tajin to go on my margarita and I was SO excited for that. The guac was extremely fresh and comes huge for either a couple of a group of people. I'd recommend this place and sitting outside and enjoying the scenario.

The guac was fresh and good but perhaps not as good as I expected. There was a lot of garnish on top that it could have done without. The server was fine but didn't really check in too much unless we waived them down. The music was really good but they closed up early.

I'll start with the positives....oh, wait! There are none. Moving on. . .i was so excited to eat here. The aesthetics were top tier. Cute spot for a date night IF you don't care how your food tastes! we walked in and were seated immediately. We ordered the birria tacos and they were the saltiest tacos I've ever had in my life! YUCK! I was highly disappointed!! My kids had the chicken nachos and guess what THERE WAS NO CHICKEN!!!! I had to run the waiter down to let him know "what's the deal". A few minutes later he runs back with cold shredded chicken ready to dump it on top of the nachos and I immediately take it from him and sit the plate of chicken on the side. At this point I was highly frustrated with our food and the service we were receiving. Both dishes that we had were terrible and made incorrectly. While this place is in such a nice area...they food is not good!! At all!!

Enjoyed an evening out with my Mom at Lupe Reyes during our visit to San Juan. I was craving Mexican over the traditional PR cuisine we'd had all week. We started with the guacamole, a margarita pitcher and 2 entrees. For dinner we enjoyed the steak fajitas and Baja tacos. However, before we got seated, it was a 20 minute wait at 7 PM on a Wednesday. There seemed to be plenty of tables but not enough servers. Then once we were seated it took about 15 minutes for anyone to approach the table and take our order. That sucked but it keeps going. The guacamole came out first - it's truly amazing. Fresh and very tasty. Then our entrees arrived -- before the drinks? A bit strange but maybe that's how it's done in PR? When the bottle arrived (not an actual pitcher) it was a relief to get started with our meal. The server didn't pour anything - it was on us to serve ourselves. Tip: Shake up the bottle to experience the flavors. The patio is great to experience all of Districto T-Mobile. The flashing lights, stage acts and video display. It's loud with people walking by so if you want to talk - sit inside. Overall, the food was good. The steak could have used more seasoning - salt & pepper even. The ingredients were definitely fresh and cooked to order. Portions are more than enough. Recommend if you want a Mexican meal and good drinks.

Amazing!!! I'm not sure if Lupe Reyes is a chain restaurant, but if it is I hope my area gets one! Great service, we were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in! Beautiful murals painted on the walls. A very welcoming feeling upon coming in! I loved the old school TVs all around the restaurant. The openness of the restaurant gave me family style event vibes. The food was amazing, tasteful, perfect temperatures, filling and plenty to take home! We also ordered a pitcher of margarita which was made to perfection. The restaurant was pretty empty when we came in so we were a little skeptical. I'm glad the guys in our group decided we were going to give it a try. Maybe it's because it's Mexican food in Puerto Rico. But when I tell you I'll eat Mexican anywhere I go, it never disappoints! I recommend the following items: Street corn -our group of 4 shared 1 order The margaritas Fajitas (steak and chicken)

DELICIOUS! Great view of the all of the action if you sit "outside". Our server was great. They mixed our order up so we had to wait a little long to get our food but our server gave us an order of chips and salsa to make up for it. Not worth $10 if you were to buy them but a nice gesture. My chicken nachos were DELICIOUS. The queso was superb. I would definitely go back to this place! The Passionfruit Margarita was tasty too.

What a fantastic restaurant with a great staff. The food was superb and highly recommended. The quality of the beef was also very amazing. I would definitely return and rate this restaurant at 10 out of 10.

Loved this cute little spot in Distrito T-Mobile! Food was amazing, and the atmosphere just added to an overall great experience. The evening was fun with lots of good energy around. Outstanding service and reasonable prices! Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting PR!

We ordered quite a bit--the chips and queso, chips and guac, hot sauce, tamale, rice and beans, kids cheese quesadilla, and veggie fajitas. The kids' quesadilla was a huge hit with our 5-year-old (who is a picky eater and devoured it). The veggie fajitas were decent and tasty, though for the price I would have liked a bit more on the plate in terms of sides. There was a small hiccup where cilantro was accidentally added to one of my dishes, and it did take quite a while for the corrected dish to come out, but they were very kind about it. That said, everything else was enjoyable and the overall experience was still very good. Overall, a great spot for solid Mexican food in Old San Juan with a fun atmosphere and fresh flavors.
