A workout buddy suggested Burro-itos - so glad he did!! The restaurant is clean and cute inside. The lady that took my order was patient snd helpful as it was my first visit. I ordered the Surf & Turf burrito to go. It was huge! I ate only half that night and finished the rest the next day for lunch. I liked that they didn't skimp on the amount of protein in the burrito. Every bite had either steak or shrimp in it. It was so fresh and delicious. I highly recommend trying that one. They also have bowls. I'm not sure if you can get any burrito as a bowl. If so, that would be awesome! I'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu. read more

Burro-itos did it again. I often go in to eat, especially after a long day of errands. Food is always stellar and customer service is phenomenal. Today I just had to have a cup of coffee. It was early afternoon. Coffee was out. Veronica was on it....She made a fresh pot and it was delicious. I knew their coffee was good cause I've had breakfast there several times. The first thing to note about this restaurant is that it is VERY clean! I love that. When we walked in, we were greeted. Then greeted again the front counter. Cute place on the square. I've eaten here twice now. The first time I had a fish burrito and it was pretty good but expensive. The second time, I ordered a carne Asada burrito with no avocado, it had tons of avocado. I was given a replacement burrito but it still had avocado. I ended up eating half after attempting to remove the avocado. I like burritos, just don't care for it to be stuffed with so many things. (Rice for example) This place does have some damn good tea options. read more

The Best Burrito I have had in TX. My wife and I decided to try this place based on reviews and the fact you can't find burrito places in TX. Every other place is about tacos. My wife had the Noble Burrito and I had the Carnitas Burrito and both were excellent. The tortilla stole the show. Amazing!!! And the hot sauces killed it too. HOWEVER, my husband and I took our three kids- got WATERS- and the bill was $104 for a quick-service burrito lunch. That's just not something we can do again. Found this place while visiting family in the local area and wow! Talk about a touch of home. While Tex-Mex has it's place, there is nothing like the Baja California-style Mexican Food found at quick stops in SoCal like this one in the middle of Texas. This place has a super modern flair and I was surprised to find it was locally owned and not a chain. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners and they were super friendly and helpful. I went for my usual favorite, the Carne Asada Burrito, and it was just as great as the ones from my favorite places at home. I wish I had spent more time in the area because I would have tried some of their other selections that looked equally delicious. The portion sizes are big, so that's nice, but that's about the only thing that is nice about this place. The steak is cooked okay however it's so salty that you can barely eat it. The salsa,if you want to call it that, is basically water that has an essence of tomato. The "salsa verde" literally tastes like water with oregano in it. It was like being in a 'Berto's in San Diego, but the quality and taste of the ingredients are much better. You need to know that everything is considered top quality food here, from the fresh tortilla all the way down to the sauces they have table-side. This is not some sloppy low-grade burrito place. My husband loves the queso and he's been searching for a good one for as long as I've known him. The queso is made with Tillamook cheese! I was hesitant to try the carne asada burrito because I was a little bit sticker shocked at the price, but the quality of the food and the size makes it worth it. My daughter and I split it. It was awesome. My kids loved it too! It is rare that my whole family likes a restaurant.
