(Turns out, she also loves the Swiss Mushroom Burger. It's so messy and sooo good! Try it.) She told me it might be a fifteen minute wait, but our two burgers were ready sooner. While I waited, I noticed the store was clean, and the two people working in back were friendly too. Both of our burgers were still hot when we got home, and they were excellent. My friend and I went there on yesterday afternoon because of rave reviews. we were disappointed. I ordered double burger and fries. Fries were horribly greasy and the burger was burnt with no taste whatsoever. it was the same with my friends meal. It was not busy at all that's why I cant understand why things weren't better. I didn't notice all of this until I got home. Hopefully things will get better and the grease they dropped the fries in is fresh and hot. I hope things get better. read more

I went here for lunch, and although it was a little busy, I didn't mind waiting about 10 to 20 minutes. The lady at the counter was very nice, and the mini dining area was clean--though it feels more like a place for takeout rather than a sit-down restaurant. For my meal, I ordered a double burger with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and ketchup, along with a medium fry. The experience reminded me a bit of Five Guys because of how they wrap the burger and serve the fries in a basket. Upon trying my meal, I thought the burger looked good, and the fries were nicely seasoned but a bit soggy; I prefer my fries with a little more crunch. As for the burger, it was decent, and I would rate it a 7.5 out of 10. While it was good overall, I found it somewhat bland. However, I encourage you to visit and form your own opinion. I cannot remember ever having a worse customers experience. I was greeted by a very nice young lady. I was placing my order. When one of the cooks spoke up. The only thing I understood that he said was, "we don't serve people". The young lady interrupted him and said to me, he is kidding. He replied, "No I'm not." He repeated himself, "We don't serve ***** people. I said, never mind and left. I followed up with an email via Bus Loop Burgers contact us on their website. That was a week ago. I have not received a response from them. Clearly, upper management does not value their customers or feedback on their staff. My previous visit the customer service was mediocre at best. read more

This was my first experience with Bus Loop Burgers and I must say I am impressed ..... I ordered via DoorDash for a 10:50-11:10am drop off but the order didn't arrive until 11:30am (I'm not complaining at all) the wait didn't bother me , I'm only mentioning time so that if anyone else decides to order after reading this post , they can give the restaurant some grace. I knew it was hot and fresh because of the grease mark on the bag. I also loved how the patty was seasoned well and the patty had a crispy crust residue which indicates this burger was produced by a human and not a machine. This is an old school classically grilled burger. Everything was fresh , tomatoes, onions , lettuce and especially the fries. I can also appreciate the fries and drink being included as a genuine combo meal. I've noticed a lot of small business owners don't offer drinks with meals anymore and I still struggle to understand it so I appreciate it here. The only thing I would fix for this restaurant is the packaging. This restaurant began 29 years ago and I just wish I could see some elements of that in the foil wrapping or even customized parchment paper. People from Saint Louis may be able to identify the burger by first glance but customized logo paper or packaging will be more memorable for visitors. I've had a good experience before at the St. Ann location, which is what drew me here. I ordered a cheeseburger. That's all. Pros: A very good burger and other menu offerings at fair prices. Cons: Slow service--even for made-to-order. It was a 22-minute wait after the order was placed. Even with that the burger was incorrect. As an old guy I accept that I'm not the target audience for Bus Loop's loud rap soundtrack, but that didn't enhance my wait. With plenty of burger options in the area--there's a Dairy Queen in the parking lot--there's no reason for me to return here. Bus Loop is mostly for take-out, though there are two high-top tables inside. read more

The burgers taste really good! The price point is a little higher. It does take a bit for orders to be fulfilled in restaurant. There is only one tiny table so it's not an eat-in place. There is room for improvement but we still like this place! Definitely worth a shot. read more

This is the newest location in Florissant. There's really no where to sit and eat your food here so everything is ordered to go. However they are efficient with getting your order ready and the food is goodt! My fries were seasoned to perfection and my burger was so satisfying. I'll support them again when I want a good burger. It's not often that I choose to eat meat but when I do this joint is on my list. read more

I've tried this location twice both times I've been disappointed! The first time I ordered sweet potato fries got home and had regular fries. Tried it again & my burger looked a bit overdone and did not have the toppings I asked for. I could not find a telephone number online to call with my complaint. Very unprofessional,forgot my shake ,couldn't follow specified orders even when they themselves confirmed it .Will not be going back .

Me and my wife ordered a blt, single cheeseburger, tater tots, onion rings, cheese sauce and housemaid ranch. For the single cheeseburger I removed the lettuce ketchup and mayo and then asked them to add bacon and thousand island. When I got the order the burger was plain. It was missing the tomato pickles onions etc. the burger was overcooked and falling apart and the bread was dry. My wife's BLT has almost no tomato on it and the bacon is falling off the bread. The tater tots and onion rings are seasoned with the house blend and it tastes like mostly white sugar. The house made ranch that I paid extra for was not included in the order. OMG!!! I love the Double Turkey on Sour Dough. It's so delicious. They toast the bread just enough so you get a nice little crunch before sinking your teeth in Turkey patties flavored so well and Juicy. It's also huge I cut it in half and eat it later. read more

My burger was not as hot as it should have been to come off the grilled. I ordered a single turkey burger with fries and a drink..its bad enough it was pricey..but they had the nerve to forget my grilled onions. I ordered lettuce..tomato and grilled onions. I try to support black businesses..but this just made me mad. Like had she been paying attention this would not have happened..the cook im talking about. I visited this place for the first time and let me just say the black lady that was working that evening who appeared to be the manager energy was awful and you can sense it the moment you lock eye contact with her. Bus Loop in general is good but, this location is not. The meat had a weird taste to it like it wasn't or fresh or going bad. The St. Ann location tastes better, so I would stick with that location. read more

This was the first time I visited the bus loop and could possibly be the last. I ordered 2 meals and paid $42. I don't mind spending money but I would like for the food in the bag to match the price. The fries were ok but I was given a small boat of "crunchy ends" of fries. They were seasoned well though. I also purchased 2 shakes, the oreo and vanilla. These two were nasty. My child brought it to my attention first and he correct. The shake didn't taste like a typical shake. They tasted watered down and just like milk. There was no sweetness to the shake. $18 of this meal was good (burgers) and the rest was a waste. I would have not written this review if it wasn't for the nasty shakes.. read more
