    Firecracker chicken with ravishing rice
    Kathi W.

Seems like the reviews are all over the place. My guy and I decided to try anyway. Yes, the front parking lot is small. Yes ,there are more spots in back. No big whoop there. There is also a drive through for pick up orders only. Orders can be placed via phone or online. Upon entry we were promptly greeted by the friendly staff. There was a new person training; however she did a great job taking our order. We chose to dine in. NOTE: it's a very small dining room. Only seating for 10-12 people. We received both our orders (and they were correct) within a few minutes. I had the firecracker chicken with sweet chili sauce, which came with ravishing rice. (At first I thought my chicken was on a bed of carrots, but it was actually the rice - it is ORANGE. I did not detect a distinct flavor so perhaps it's orange due to food coloring. I'll ask next time. He had chicken tenders with honey bbq sauce and fries. Everything was prepared well and was hot, fresh and flavorful. The chicken in both dishes was crispy on the outside and tender inside. Our meals totaled around $25. Sounds like a lot, but I had so much food that there is enough for a second meal. We WILL go back because the food was good, plus the menu is huge and there are other interesting items we'd like to try.

    Shrimp wrap

This was only my 2md time coming but it was a win once again! I was looking for something that wasn't too heavy so I decided to stop in for a wrap. Although I was craving a chicken wrap, that shrimp easily became a great decision. I look forward to trying a few more things soon.

Second visit and I'm trying something new. Hubby and I decided to combine options and share. We decided on lemon pepper chicken tenders and onion rings and a dragon fire chicken wrap which consisted of melted cheese, lettuce , tomatoes , dragon sauce and onions. The wrap was soft, fresh and delicious, the tenders did not have lemon pepper seasoning to me and if it did I could not taste it at all. The onion rings and fries were just ok. It took about 15 minutes to make and it came with sodas. Staff was friendly. Building was clean .

Chicken fries are delicious! The staff was friendly. Wait time wasn't long. The parking isn't great.

when I saw their menu and pictures, I was super intrigued. Now for Vietnamese food, my standard is…read moreparticularly high as any Vietnamese person you meet on the street can whip you up a good meal. Spot House interestingly offers a wide variety of dishes from burgers, tacos, and sandwiches but obviously I came for the Vietnamese specials. I got a bowl of Hu Tieu aka Phnom Penh noodles soup and it was delicious. Definitely one of the best ones that I have had in the States. I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to go back already. If you are a fan of Bánh Xèo then you would love its smaller cousin Bánh Khọt. These crispy Vietnamese pancakes came in bite-sized pieces topped with shrimp and ground pork. This dish is a specialty that you can't normally find around St. Louis area. It's definitely a crowd's favorite and I loved every single bite. Highly recommend that you order this dish. Typically, you would enjoy this with some fresh lettuce and herbs and you would dip the pancake in fish sauce, the liquid gold that elevates the whole dish. If I had to nitpick about one thing, it would be Cơm Gà, the rice and fried chicken leg dish. The chicken was dry and a little bit blend, albeit super crispy. You really gotta dowse it with fish sauce to make it taste better. However, I did enjoy the yellow rice. The rice on the other hand was very well-seasoned. Overall, Spot House might be my new favorite Vietnamese spot in the STL area! Cant wait to come back.
