He told me that his guys were going to be in my neighborhood on the 4th and could stop by around 1pm to trim the tree. They never showed up and by late afternoon Julien informed me that they couldn't make it and that they would have to come by the next day. On the 5th it was raining so Julien again informed me in the afternoon on the 6th that they would come trim the tree at 8am on the 7th. They never showed up and it wasn't until late in the afternoon that Julien called me and said his guys would be by on the 8th. Then on the 8th it rained and Julien wanted to reschedule for the following Monday. I said it was fine and that the safety of his crew was definitely the main priority. He then proceeded to tell me that it was in his best interest to get the guys to get the work done because he doesn't receive his commission unless they do. Ah ha! and there it was, the reason I kept getting jerked around with when I was going to get my tree trimmed, and why I was only notified late in the day after I was able to call any other tree company to come out and take care of the tree. It was due to Julien's commission! On Monday May 10th Julien let me know that they would be coming by to trim the tree. They showed up at 4:50 pm and told me that they had to clear the work with the boss, because he doesn't like them working past 5pm, and that they just did four full removals today and that they didn't have enough time to do this job. So I asked him why it was that Julien would schedule so much in a day (obvious commissions aside). He told me that Julien was just a sales guy and didn't realize how much work it actually takes to remove a full tree. So he makes promises to the clients and then overbooks the actual workers. So this guy tells me that him and his guys are going to work for 45 minutes, then clean up and finish the job tomorrow, which I agreed to (I mean what other choice did I have at this point?). But they pulled their truck into my driveway (parked it on top of my wife's beloved flowers) then did nothing for twenty minutes before leaving. When I told Julien that they parked on our flowers he said that it was a good thing that they grow back. They came back the next day and pulled their truck right back into the same spot on top of the flowers. When I pointed out that they didn't seem too concerned about the driveway being too tight because they pulled in the same way, Julien got offended saying "how am I supposed to get to the tree?" and that it's not their fault the driveway is very tight. Well it's also not my job to figure out how your guys should use their equipment to do their job and not damage my property. When I came home from work after they had trimmed my tree and left, I noticed that they had moved all of my outdoor furniture and made zero effort to put it back from where they moved it. This was an absolutely awful experience and I don't plan to use this company ever again, and I urge everyone else to overlook them as well. The only reason they got a second star is because they did an okay job trimming the tree.

I met Bobby when he gave me a quote on landscaping in my backyard after we had already hired a different contractor, who was trying to add an expensive layer to an existing project. Bobby came to my home the same day I called him. He explained to me how my current contractor was charging me double the price. He took the educate me about how my current landscape contractor was skimping on things that should have been built into the original plan. He explained to me how I should negotiate with my current contractor to improve the project, fix the flaws, and cut the price my landscaper quoted me in HALF. It worked. Bobby took the time to do this knowing that his advice to me would result in not using his company for that particular project. Seeing how honest Bobby was, I was committed to using him for every project going forward. I didn't realize I would need him so quickly. WATER LINE - Since March 2023, we began having water issues in our front lawn and driveway. We met with multiple contractors and even an engineer, all of whom diagnosed it as being a ground water issue. We spent a fortune installing a drainage system in the side of our yard, which helped a bit, but we still continued to have water issues in our driveway and our front yard. I invited Bobby over to take a look. He was convinced we had a leak in our water line (even though my bill had never increased). We called the water company, who marked out the line and confirmed there was a leak. We received some quotes and of course decided to go with Bobby/ASL. Bobby discovered the water company mismarked the water line by 25 feet. The leaks were partially located underneath a retaining wall, elevated walkway, and landscaping. The other contractors insisted we would need to completely remove the retaining wall and dismantle the hardscaping to properly repair the leak. On the other hand, Bobby and his guys came up with a brilliant way to replace the pipe while leaving everything undisturbed. While he was at it, he noticed a crack in my sewer line, which we surmised was when our first landscaper dug an exploratory hole in that area to potentially install an underground drainage system. Bobby fixed the sewer line in addition to the water line. He did the entire project within a day - all at a fraction of the quoted price I received from the other contractors just fix the water line. SEWER LINE - Fast forward another 2 weeks...I start getting water in a crawl space in my basement. I call Roto-Rooter, thinking there was a clog in the sewer line. When Roto-Rooter came to snake the line, they found a blockage in the sewer line they could not get past. They offered to immediately dig up my front lawn (again) and replace that area of the sewer line for a price. I called Bobby at ASL. Within an hour, he was at my house with a camera down the sewer line. The blockage was in an entirely different location than the previous repair. The next day, Bobby and his team were at my house. They repaired the sewer line and uncovered a buried and broken plumbing cleanout pipe we didn't even know existed. His team removed the boulder stuck in my sewer line, removed the portion of the sewer line that was cracked, and fixed the cleanout pipe to raise it above the ground. IRRIGATION SYSTEM - I also used Bobby's team to install an irrigation system in my backyard. His guys went above and beyond. In addition to the irrigation system, they replaced a leaky hose spigot and installed another PRV valve to fix our water pressure - all for a fraction of the price we received from other quotes just for the irrigation system. DRIVEWAY - In the spring, I'll be using ASL to repave my very large driveway and perform the landscaping in the front of my home. You will never meet a more responsive, honest, reliable, and fairly priced contractor than Bobby. His entire team is hardworking, professional, innovative, and clean. Each of them know their craft. My husband and I are so grateful to his team for saving us thousands upon thousands of dollars. He's also saved us a ton of time for future projects because I now know to not even bother seeking other quotes. We really regret now knowing him before we hired (and paid) a different contractor to perform an entire renovation of our backyard for our new pool.
