Right by the docks where we were is the Bridge Bar and restaraunt. They have ample indoor seating and a large patio overlooking the docks and river. We chose a table outside and were quickly greeted by our server. Upon reviewing the menu I decided on a cheeseburger and fries. The burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were crispy and hot. A short drive from the Fox Valley, I was startled to see such a nice pub and grill. Looks great from the outside and even nicer in the inside. If I lived close by, I'm sure I'd be there frequently. We were told by our friends, who had been there several times, that they offer only pizzas, soups and appetizers. Our friends had not tried the pizza but said the appetizers are great. There were literally a dozen soups to choose from for our flights. I picked sausage tortellini, clam chowder and stuffed pepper for my flight. It also comes with a piece of cheese/garlic bread. Not only were the soups nice and hot, they were all tasty. This sentiment was shared by my dining partners. The staff were friendly and helpful. The drinks were reasonable and well made.
