It was Taco Tuesday, so my husband had the Taco Salad and said the shell was fresh and seemingly homemade, and the taco meat and fixings were perfect. I had a cheeseburger and deep fried cheese curds. Let me start with the burger--the meat tasted like it had been grilled in the backyard, and the bun was everything a burger bun should be. Fresh and perfectly dusted with cornmeal--perfection! And lots of places make cheese curds, but these were easily in the top two of the best I've ever had! The whole meal had me remarking to my husband, "Someone in the kitchen knows what they are doing!" And I must mention the sweet bartender/server who was friendly, prompt, and even went out of her way to text a friend to find out where the Neenah sturgeon check station was located.
