My husband and I took a trip to Fremont so he could fish on the wolf River for white bass. After a couple hours of fishing we decided it was time for lunch. Right by the docks where we were is the Bridge Bar and restaraunt. They have ample indoor seating and a large patio overlooking the docks and river. We chose a table outside and were quickly greeted by our server. Upon reviewing the menu I decided on a cheeseburger and fries. The burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were crispy and hot. The food here is great, the service is great and the views are great. We will definitely be back next time we visit Fremont! read more

After spending the morning fishing I stopped in for lunch. Our waitress was Alexa. She was pleasantly cheerful as she took our drink order. After reviewing the menu, I decided on the Burbon Bacon Mushroom Burger. Any one of those items are good, but all 4 together, that's a grand slam. I enjoyed the river view and a beer while I waited. People fishing, boaters cruising the river, and nice patio dining. My burger was up in about a half hour. This qwa a 1/3 pound burger topped with crispy applewood smoked bacon, mushrooms and provolone cheese served with bourbon sauce. It came with a side of crispy potato chips. The burger was cooked to a perfect medium and the melted cheese ran down the sides of the bun when I bit into it. It was loaded with sautéed mushrooms and crispy thick sliced bacon. The burger was drizzled with a sweet and tangy sauce that had hint of Bourbon. The chips may have been homemade, I'm not sure, but there were plenty of them. This burger will forever live on my best burger list. This meal and this place is worth returning to when in Fremont again read more

For starters, I ordered the combo appetizer. It was good. I ordered the fish basket which consisted of two cod fillets and they were very crispy and tasty. I chose the sweet potatoes as a side and those too were good. I also ordered the mahi-mahi sandwich and I really like the sauce with onion rings. Lastly we ordered the Swiss and mushroom burger. I hated to be a bother to the staff when I came up from my table to get a second beer (I ordered the first one at the bar) and then to bring my food tray back. Unbelievable. To be clear, I'm wanting to give a 4.5 rating but you know...Yelp won't let me. Let me start with Gretchen. What a great host, waitress, bartender and all around employee. She really made our experience enjoyable. Mondays are "Mexican Night". They had a nice selection of items to pick from. Two of our party had the Jumbo Chicken Chimichanga. It was a great choice and came with a side of tortilla chips. Two others had a Quesadilla Burger, also with tortilla chips. They also enjoyed their meals. Everyone also liked the salsa served with the meals. Additionally, there were deals on margaritas and Corona beer. We also enjoyed a giant pretzel ($15) and an order of jalapeño/corn bites. Both were very tasty and served our group of six adequately. The remaining menu had a good choice of burgers, wraps and sandwiches. It was actually difficult to narrow down your choice. This place is really busy during the summer weekends; however, was not busy at all on this Monday night. The prices were reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food ordered. Such a great spot in Fremont on the river, we eat here often when we are in town for the 4th. The hamburgers are delicious the service is always spot on and the drinks are cold! The location looks over the River and during Sunday and Wednesday the Web Footers perform on the River and it's a great show! The pizza is great and if you ask for extra cheese you will get a great amount of cheese, everything on the menu is great and we've never had a bad meal! Nice, casual restaurant/bar on the Wolf River in downtown Fremont. They have a large indoor dining room/bar as well as an outdoor deck. The Philly steak sandwich was good. I paid an extra $2 to get onion rings. They were OK for frozen pre-made onion rings. The pizza was good especially the sausage they use. Been in the area (Waupaca) since 2016 and this is our first time here. Parking: ample on street, behind restaurant and in other side of road. It wasn't a problem. Restaurant: sat outside at lunch near the water. Very scenic. There was room inside in case of inclement weather. Clean table. Umbrella in case of direct Sun. Service: prompt. Ordered, got our appetizers quickly. Meals soon thereafter. Came back twice during meal to ask if we needed anything else or a refill on the drinks. Got the check when we finished. Food: had the beer battered cheese curds and the pretzels with cheese sauce on the side. Both were good. My wife and granddaughter had the mushroom and Swiss burgers which they liked. My granddaughter is really picky so we would have known if it wasn't up to par. I had the Mexican pizza. It comes loaded with salsa and sour cream on the side. Very good. I'm usually a cheese only or pepperoni guy so not a lot on the pizza but I do enjoy Mexican food. This tasted great. Had more than half left over to take home. Come back: definitely. My group of friends and I have been to the Bridge Bar & Restaurant probably 5 times this summer as Fremont beach is one of our favorite swimming spots. The food has been delicious every single time, and the staff is always very helpful. I would recommend the double bacon burger, loaded fries, or mac and cheese bites. Their chipotle sauce is great too! Our waitress last night was one of the best we've had. Wish I could remember her name! She was quick, and made us feel very welcome. We have stopped in here 3 times over the last couple weeks. Very nice patio area overlooking the wolf river. The food has been always very good, and the service 2 out the 3 time's excellent. The other time I will not complain about because it was during their "Thursday Thunder". They were packed and short on help. The staff that was there were working very had, but they could have used at least two more waiters for the customers they had. So wait times were long, but the beers were cold, so we survived. We arrived late Friday to a rental cabin and found this place. The menu looks great but we were in the mood for pizza. We ordered two 16 inch and they were ready when promised for pick up. The pizza was good. Had plenty of cheese and toppings. It had a crispy crust but just the right amount of chew to go along with it. My boyfriend and I were coming in Fremont and decided to come here for the fourth of July after looking at their menu on the website it looked like a great place to eat for dinner. As soon as we got inside it was nice and clean, empty but that's because the whole crowd was outside enjoying dinner on the deck by the water which was very breathtaking. We asked two ladies they said we could seat ourselves and we found a table Right in front of the water. We took a few minutes to look at the menu and no one had came to help us yet so I stopped a lady and asked if she wasnt too busy if she could serve us, and she gladly with a smile said she could and would be back in a minute, she came back Right away to take our order, we ordered two adult drinks, beer battered cheesecurds, a burger with fries and a chicken sandwich with fries. After Amber took our order she came back super quick with our drinks, my boyfriend getting a beer and I had a strawberry daiquiri, which was amazing I could taste hints of rum and strawberry at the same time. It was perfect. Not long after we got our drinks she brought out our cheesecurds with ranch, they were pretty good some were a little chewy but we dug in anyways, One of the best we have had. Amber then brought out our dinners, they looked amazing my burger was perfect and the cooks forgot the cheese on the chicken sandwich but with a smile she was quick to get it fixed and bring some ranch for my fries, at that time she asked my boyfriend if he wanted another beer, he said yes, and she quickly removed the old one and brought him a new one. A few bites in she asked how our food was, I said wonderful, my fries were amazing and crisp, the burger was juicy, bread was soft, bacon was crispy and BBQ sauce was perfect balance. My boyfriend was enjoy his sandwich as well. Halfway through I was almost done with my drink and she asked if I wanted another One, I said yes and she quickly brought me a refill. Amber is Great at her job, always made sure to take away the empties and ask us if we needed refills, it was very refreshing to have a nice, caring, and friendly waitress. We cleared all our baskets and finished our drinks, I am a big complainer but I couldn't complain about anything with this meal, it was the best One we had in a long time. I was here for lunch and dinner during my stay out here in Fremont. Initially chose this place because the outdoor atmosphere on a Saturday was pretty live coming in from a boat on the river. For lunch I had the pulled pork burger which was pretty good. I had a local IPA that was delicious. I also tried the cheese curds which were really good and the nachos which good too. The half order nachos filled a whole plate so I can't imagine what a full order looks like. Definitely a place to check out if you're in the area. read more

This is the place to be in Fremont Wisconsin. If you come during the summer, especially on weekends, the Service will be a little slow. It is the busiest bar in Fremont after all.
