We went on a Sunday for lunch and had their buffet which was reasonably priced. There was a good variety of items. Most were fresh and tasty. I liked the fried chicken and ham. The place wasn't packed so some of the items were slim pickings. The beer was cold which was a plus. The lady that served us was nice. I would go back if in the area. read more

We are here on a Saturday evening. Had the jalapeño poppers for an app and they were delicious. There was a salad bar with fresh lettuce and all the toppings and at least 7-8 choices for dressings. Also 4-5 additional salads and they were all very good. I had liver and onions. Very generous portions with lots of onions & bacon. Our server was right on the spot. Very attentive. The bar was great, attentive bartenders, great live music. Food was horrlble. The grilled chicken looked like a hockey puck and the ruben sandwich was burned, used sandwich meat, and processed Kraft singles for cheese. Absolute waste of over $80 for our group's bill. Our server definitely didn't ant to be there either. read more

We stopped in this morning for a couple drinks at the bar- we have been there years ago, and the bar service was always excellent with the friendliest bartenders- not today as the bartender definitely was one of the worst I have ever seen- very poor customer service and crappy attitude-we did leave and go next door to the Wolf River Lodge, and loved it!! read more

Went for mother's day brunch and it was extremely disappointing. Chicken was all burnt, dressing was horrible, no gravy for potatoes, dessert table consisted of some cupcakes and cookies. Not good at all. Everyone in our party was dissatisfied with the food. Will not go back and would not recommend. read more

This place is great to get a traditional Wisconsin Fish Fry. They have a great old fashioned fish buffet which is very good. We like ordering the perch off the menu. I would not recommend getting any of the fish pan fried, we ordered one dinner done this way and it wasn't the greatest. But if it's fried you'll love it. read more

Excellent prime rib/salad and soup bar. Strong drinks and great staff. Great little resort, we stayed in one of the trailers. Very spacious with a full kitchen. Will be back again for some more fishing, prime rib, and the hospitality. read more

Don't go here if you are on a diet! One of the great supper clubs in Wisconsin right on the Wolf River. Very clean salad, taco, soup bar. Friday night fish buffet was delicious. Mixed review. Salad bar wins. Tasty drinks win big. Sunday buffet was an overall win, but apparently the kitchen wasn't keeping up with demand because about a third of the entree items were out when I went through the line. (They were replenished after a few minutes.) The dessert bar -- which you pass when you come into the main dining area -- was stocked with some delicious-looking pies when we walked by; come dessert time, nothing but cookies. Sigh. Their food is good, their drinks are good, their service is good, but our timing must have been bad. Next time I'm here, I might be more inclined to order from the regular menu. read more

We visited the restaurant a few years ago for lunch and it was pretty great. They have amazing pretzels that are the size of pizzas. Unfortunately, they're only served at certain times. Disappointed number one. For our latest, and hopefully last, experience, we sat at a table by the bar where an unpleasant bartender begrudgingly took our orders. We were a little early for the dinner buffet so we spoke with the waitress and said we'd wait and munched on styrofoam (aka popcorn). She said to watch for the doors to open. We did and when no one came to get our orders, we were told we had to place an order for them to make the food, so we waited some more. After waiting a bit longer, we went back to the hostess station and were told it would be easier to move to the dining room but we could stay at the bar and she'd get with us shortly (this is the same waitress that said to wait until the doors opened and we could eat). Ultimately, we decided to move and were assigned another waitress. We finally were able to order but had to wait for salad plates to be delivered so we could finally have the buffet (in the restaurants defense, they did have plates at the main buffet station but the salad bar requires the waitress to provide a plate). The salad bar was okay (spinach was a little wilty), the soup (creamy chicken and the bacon) was outstanding, the Friday buffet was terrible. They explained the one fish was supposed to apparently be mushy and was absolutely horrible, the scallops were undercooked, the catfish was lukewarm, and the sweet potato fries were rubbery. When the cashier (possible owner) took our check and asked how the food was, I said okayyyy but a little undercooked. Honesty apparently is upsetting. She asked if we told the server but given her reaction to my lukewarm reaction to the lukewarm, being kind, food, I was hesitant to mention that the lack of service. Basically, if you want to spend $15+ for a buffet, then by all means, go there. Otherwise, save the money, headache and subsequent stomachache. If you're looking for a great pretzel, just make sure you're there for lunch.... And only order a pretzel. read more

While traveling through Wisconsin on a Friday evening, we came across this supper club hoping to have a great Wisconsin fish fry. Usually, most restaurants offer an all-u-can eat fish fry, but instead their option was a seafood buffet with a salad bar. We were in somewhat of a hurry so we didn't want to order off the menu and the buffet had what I wanted; soup, salad bar, baked and fried fish, and shrimp. My husband was more into the broasted chicken, cheesy potatoes and corn. Granted, the buffet was $15.00, so I understand why they weren't using "fresh" seafood, but they would be better off serving two or three exceptional fresh items, instead of frozen mediocre foods. The shrimp chowder was about the only thing that had any flavor and seemed to be homemade. The baked fish was absolutely horrible, it was so watery and mushy. Had not idea what kind of fish they used for the fried fish, but it was only edible when using loads of tarter sauce to cover up the "fishy" taste. The perfectly round (meaning fake/frozen) scallops were cold and tasteless. The broasted chicken was dry, the fried shrimp was overcooked, and the side dishes were tasteless and/or dried out. I suspect that because this restaurant is located in a resort community, there aren't a whole lot of options around, so they can get away with serving this type of food. Was a family favorite throughout my entire childhood and my early adult life. It has steadily declined over the last few years. We are boaters and like to stop on our way back home. Tonight, Memorial Day 2016, we stopped for almost the first time in a year - specifically to give it one more shot. When we got there, the front dining room was the only room being served. There were approximately 6 tables with people at them - and we supposedly had two couples in front of us. It not only took an hour and a half to get a table but then another hour to get our 'food'. In the meantime, we watched them unplug the soup bar, and the waitresses fight about having more heated for a guest - and then taking 30 minutes for the chicken dumpling to be brought to them. We also witnessed a guest ask for their coleslaw and was told that the cook was out. They were not offered a substitute. Two tables were consecutively served cold all you can eat crab. Our food arrived...at least they were both well-done and not swimming in blood. My chopped sirloin was so dry I couldn't even pick it up with my fork. My husbands queen cut steak was no bigger than my fist. When the lady at the table next door got what was supposed to be a lighter fare steak she was shocked at how large it was and was told she wouldn't be changed extra for it. Obviously the steaks were switched. As I walked to the restroom to kill some time before our good arrived, I saw the cook - the same cook that has been there since I was eating there in middle/high school...its been a few years. He's had some experience. I am sure he at this point, has figured out how to cook a steak well done without destroying it and to be able to identify a lighter fare serving vs the queen cut. We literally live less than 5 miles from Hahn's and can make the drive in a few minutes. I am 99% sure we won't be back. Three hours and $50 wasted tonight. Sorry Hahn's - tonight was the final straw. read more
