2 out of three tacos after I ate one!

It's a REALLY good street taco, but being in the mall I feel like you're going to pay for mall rent. Absolutely brought me back to food truck days but for $15/ for 3 tacos it's a bit steep for what you get Again, the food is awesome, I just would probably search for this combo at a cheaper location. Checkout is human less. But service was quick!

So of the quick service/fast food meals I got to try over 2 days at MOA, this was my favorite. (Not counting dessert stops, just meals.) It is located in one of the food courts of the MOA, which luckily it is on the side that has my youngest kiddo's favorite quick service/fast food option. So made it easy for me to grab meals from both places without running across the mall. You order from a touch screen and get your food either for there or Togo. Staff was friendly and helpful, and I'm sure could help you out if you need help with getting your order in. I tried the chicken birria which was really good! Also a chicken street taco with onion & cilantro which was really good, and a good option for the not as adventurous taco eater. I also got chips and guacamole, which was way to much for one person, so I shared with my family.

    Alleged birria taco.

I read the other reviews and I was excited. I ordered the birria tacos and the consome thinking of the name. It has to be amazing right? ABSOLUTELY wrong. I guess its my fault for assuming birria in a mall would be anything else but mall food. This is why it may not be a larger restaurant. The consome is beef broth; nothing Birria about it. It seems they kept adding water to what they had there but never actually cooked anything. The tacos were shredded beef crunchy tacos with no seasoning. They were hoping the cheese would save the flavor but no. They fell flat like the movie showgirls. This right here is why people, including me complain of cultural appropriation. You screwed the entire thing up and made me hate my culture very briefly. Except the Dr pepper. That tasted like Dr pepper. So good job in serving a soda.

Tacos were yummy but way overpriced in our opinion and they usually serve you with two tortillas because it rips easily and that way you have an extra one but they only served you with one! Had to wait for them for about 15 min. It was an okay experience. Looked like one of them was working there.

You order through a kiosk but they staff are efficient. I observed the front counter person wiping all the surfaces. He also sneezed into his elbow and changed gloves after cleaning in order to prevent cross-contamination. The beef birria tacos I had were delicious and gooey from the melted cheese. I liked how you could customize salsas and topping. It's in the North food court at MOA.

First time at this place super salty food is NOT BUSIN AT ALL for the price. Don't waste your money here.

Vegan beef nachos ($15), minus aioli. Excellent, creamy & tangy Herbivorous Butcher cheese. Nice jackfruit beef.

Bussin Birria is a vegan-friendly taco stand in the Mall of America. Opened by the owner of Hot Indian Foods (which closed after a long run in the Midtown Global Market), it's an interesting concept that has no traces of South Asian influence. The vegan beef nachos ($15) were great: crispy, homemade chips with a tangy cheese sauce from Herbivorous Butcher in Minneapolis. The "beef" is shredded and seasoned jackfruit and nicely done. I removed the Bussin sauce (aioli) and didn't miss it; the dish is fine without extra sauces and condiments. I also got a vegan beef street taco ($5 for one) and loved it: shredded jackfruit with cilantro an onion. I wish the taco shell were slightly better (how about using the ones from Nixta in Northeast Minneapolis?) but this was still a great taco. The vegan chicken street taco ($5 for one) tasted good, too, but has a different seasoning that left the chicken feeling dry to me. Like the beef, it's shredded jackfruit from Herbivorous Butcher. If Bussin Birria had a soy meat chicken tinga taco, and a rice milk horchata, I'd be back regularly. I hadn't been to the Mall of America in 15 years, but now that Bussin Birria is there and slinging great vegan tacos, I might go more often.

The name is deceiving. Got 4 of the smallest and driest quest Norris tacos ever for $20.

Our neighbors recommended us this spot, so my partner and I came here one night for dinner on a…read morerandom occasion, and unfortunately ended up having a relatively subpar dining experience. To begin with, our table and the menus given to us were very dirty and had lots of visible food tidbits, which made us have to clean things up a bit ourselves. That was okay, though, because I have experienced worse and wouldn't choose to let it impact my judgment to such an extent. I thought the only item that was solid was my lengua torta, which had a good amount of stuff inside ranging from meat to lettuce to mayo, and made me full in a very satisfactory way. A lot of the tacos were dry and reliant on the lime for a little bit of juice, including the birria tacos. My partner ordered the chicken, shrimp, and fish tacos, and thought they all tasted mediocre. Personally I enjoyed having some radishes because they cleansed my palate when needed. Another unfortunate event was that later that night, I experienced a severe stomachache and had to throw up. Granted, I have not tried their birria with consomé yet, which per my understanding was what made them famous since the beginning of time, at least according to a piece of newspaper I had seen next to the bathroom. Next time when I visit, I will try such instead, which I hope can provide me with an improved experience.

Let's start with service, the server was nice enough, but very rarely came by to refill drinks. The others were taken quickly, but the food all came out at wildly different times. I received my food probably 20-25 minutes before the last person received theirs. The wave was maybe 2 people's food at a time. The whole free dip with 5 Birria tacos was confusing as no one really knew which tacos qualified. As for the food, the horchata was okay. It wasn't super flavorful and seemed poorly mixed. I had to take the top off to try and mix it better, but the straw didn't work well. The goat Birria was very bland to me. I added all the hot sauce, but still couldn't even really taste it. I ended up mainly just dipping the tortillas in the green sauce, which wasn't bad. Perhaps I came on an off day. I'm not sure I would go back though.

The restaurant was big, it had plenty of seats inside.  You have the option of ordering from a kiosk or the cashier which makes me think it gets busy there. I loved the decor, the entire place was decked out with wall art and different pictures of a wrestler. I honestly had zero interaction with anyone, we ordered food from the kiosk and they called my name when it was ready.  I love when technology is implemented for fast and easy service, but it does suck when you don't have any human interaction. No knock on the restaurant though. The food was really good, and had an authentic Mexican taste.  I had the Cubana sandwich which was HUGE and extremely filling, I couldn't finish the whole thing because I was having dinner later but it was just as good the next day.

Certain meat tacos are only $1.50, which is a steal in this economy. There are a total of 6 different types of meal from Al pastor, chicken, to carnitas. These tacos are definitely smaller than other tacos places I've been to but I don't know if it's smaller because it was a Tuesday or it is the actual size since this is my first time here. Either way, I can't complain on the size for $1.50. Here you can order at the kiosk or cash (at the counter). I got 5 tacos and a Mangonada Slushy. Tacos- comes with cilantro, onions, a slices of lime as pictured. There is a sauce bar of 4 different sauces from milder to hot, radish, and something else I think onions that ran out. For myself this is like a 4-5 bites taco. I was full after 5 for 7.50 which isn't bad for price! Certain meat was not as seasoned and kind of bland? But others tasted ok. If you have a baby, I recommend carnitas and chicken because they didn't have much flavor for them. Mangonada slush - an interesting taste. Very different from what I had before? Not sure how to describe but I'm not sure if I would get it again? They have other Aqua Fresca like Horchata that I would get next time. Overall, can't beat the price for the value. Is it the best taco I've had? No, I've have better? But would I come back for more Tuesday Taco rest? Heck yea. When I got there it wasn't busy but a lot more people came in later. I would say maybe took about 5-8 mins to get our order which isn't bad at all! They are "rushed"
