I've used these guys on two West Coast trips (from ATL). Great customer service. No. Superior customer service. Clubs were great. The arrival and returning process much easier than lugging your bag through the airport and barely more expensive than the airline fees. As a lefty, you can only guess the condition of a set of clubs at the local public course (if a full set is available). This was by far the best way to rent clubs. I was going to Gainesville FL for a work event and had a golf tournament on Monday. My clubs were there by the middle of the week and the front desk was already looped in about it by Clublender. The package was so easy to reuse and came with a prepaid UPS label and a pickup scheduled the following day. I also received a text message to take off the driver's head and place it back so it wouldn't get damaged and instructions. The clubs were also very new and I played a great game! Rented clubs for a quick weekend trip up to Seattle, WA. The rental process was so simple! I easily navigated the site to select the sets (bonus points for the sleek bag the clubs came in). Impressed with the ladies, +1, & lefty options. Club Lender sent everything I needed... ok, well, maybe not a ball - BUT I was not expecting the goodies - Towel, Tees, Marker, Divot Thingy (see pic). The clubs arrived at my hotel prior to check-in in a sturdy, easy to access box. Rented clubs for an out of town tournament and the country club we were playing at didn't have rentals. The clubs were delivered to my hotel, and it was simple to unpack them and head to the course. They provided me with a towel, ball marker, tees, and divot repair tool. The clubs were newer model TaylorMade Irons and woods, including the new Stealth driver. I was able to arrange on numerous instances for rental clubs to arrive/be delivered to the course I was playing that day/week. The selection is great (and growing) and I loved that I was about to "mix & match" a bit to try both the Stealth woods and the P790 irons and sub out the Spider putter for the blade I prefer. The process was easy and the club options were great. However, when our golf trip was cancelled, due to a hurricane in Florida, they fell very short of the greatness mark. We requested that our clubs stay in Florida so that we could play a few days later, but they denied that. Instead they cancelled our rental and gave us a very small refund. The funny part is that they acted like they were doing us a favor. I find it hard to believe that a company wouldn't just transfer the rental dates to a few days later. Especially when the golf clubs were already delivered to the destination in Florida. Not happy and won't be using them ever again. read more

There are too many good things to say about Clublender. I would give them 10 stars if I could. First off the clubs they lended me were fantastic and in great condition. I got the Taylor Made M2s. Secondly the service was impeccable. I ordered clubs on a Friday for a Saturday use. They called me 15 minutes after I placed the order online and offered to deliver the clubs that day to make sure I got the clubs on time and it was free of charge. Chris is the person who dropped off the clubs to me and was very friendly and was on time and he even called me to give me a heads up on his eta. They also included a free sleve of Titlest balls and extra tees. Clublender made it easy for my father from out of town play golf with quality equipment. Don't usually leave reviews but Clublender was awesome. I flew somewhere for a business trip and the closest course was a executive par 3, small public course with a smallish pro shop. Clublender called the course, shipped overnight, and when I arrived there they were. The guys in the pro shop gawked over the Vessel bag and the nice new clubs. Very pleased with the service. There was a problem with UPS but they identified it and fixed it before I even knew there was an issue. It was a very convenient way to golf on vacation and have confidence that I would get to use equipment I was comfortable with, without having to drag my own clubs through the airport. Clubs were very high quality and I appreciated the set having wedges and a towel...this is rarely an option if you're playing rentals.
