Ok I have ate here a few times. This morning was the worst. I have had good experiences here but I have a couple bad ones. This morning we waited 45 minufor our food. When we got it, it was not hot & the ham & bacon was very dry. There was only a hand full of customers so there was no excuse for the long wait. The waitress was not great either. After reading several great reviews, we went out of our way to eat at the Busy Bee. Where do I begin?? The wait was incredibly long; to be acknowledged when we walked in and once we finally seated ourselves, to have our order taken. Then the real wait began. Our order took 25-30 minutes and the food (omelets, potatoes and the highly rated biscuits) was as bland as we've ever tasted. Service was indifferent at best. What a huge disappointment!! read more

If you are visiting Marietta, don't miss this lunchtime gem. It is hard the beat hand churned butter, house made ketchup and zucchini pickles! All of the meals were delicious and the staff was attentive and friendly. Of course, as with most Marietta establishments, there was a ghost story to be shared about the place. I was extremely disappointed after "breakfast" this morning. Extremely long wait, food was meh, and they couldn't even make waffles or sausage gravy. How does a breakfast place run out of sausage gravy and lose a waffle iron on a Sunday???? We ordered at 11:40, which I'll admit is late for breakfast, but we didn't get our food until around 12:40. Breakfast food isn't that hard to make, and it definitely isn't good enough to warrant me waiting an hour for it. I want to support local businesses; however, I don't want people to waste two hours of their life on breakfast like I did. read more

Have lived in Marietta area for 25 yrs and this place has the best and most inexpensive breakfast in town. The veggie omelet is one of my favs! Sometimes gets a lil crowded but worth it if you can find a seat. read more

We bypassed the chains to sample the local fare. The breakfast of eggs, hash browns, bacon, toast plus a sample of mush could have been better. The bacon was thick and slightly charred, and the hash browns tasted of overused oil. The atmosphere was homey with bits of local chatter. I felt sort of like Clint Eastwood at the local diner in "The Bridges of Madison County". The waitress was warm and friendly as noted in other reviews. The single unisex restroom was clean but located on the second floor. One of our party couldn't navigate the sixteen steps and had to hold off for gas station after we left. read more

A great deal farm to table, food very good and most hospitable. We are from Vermont and love the Marietta area for the great motorcycle roads. We'll be back for more riding and definitely will be eating at the Busy Bee. read more

Busy bee doesn't seem to be busy. They are closed occasionally. The owners changed 5 times since I moved around. Their place is small. The vibe is old. The food is cheap but you're getting what you paid for. I went for breakfast because everyone mention it. And it was less than what I'd get in a low level chain restaurant. read more

The service and food was good, but they refused to accept a gift certificate from the previous owner. Part of buying a business is realizing and accepting the fact that there are outstanding gift certificates. That should be part of your negotiations with the previous owner. As it is, someone wasted $20 on a gift to me. Instead of making me feel like customers are important, you have shown that you're only interested in the bottom line. read more

Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Only issue was they only accept cash, it's 2015 that is unacceptable.
